Mbeumo and Amad will only function together when Amad plays as the RWB. As it is, our LW is dead because Amad/Mbeumo (whoever plays there will always drift towards the right. I don't even mind if Mainoo/Bruno plays as the RAMF

They're sounding as if Newcastle were totally dominant when all the chances they had was courtesy of counters using the pace of Elanga.

Everyone was aware that Newcastle would press high up the pitch, but the question was: how long could they maintain that intensity? The commentators even speculated that Newcastle would tire as the game progressed. In the worst-case scenario, Newcastle might score and then go defensive, inviting increasing pressure, an approach which is not sustainable against a team like Barcelona.

Barcelona is simply an exceptional side; it's time for people to acknowledge that.

Yeahh there has been lots of dislike and disrespect by Barca fans towards FdJ, who in my opinion, is an excellent central midfielder. Yes he is not rugged or physical, so that might deceive people to think he is weak and lazy.

Everyone showed similar disrespect to a certain Sergio Busquets when he was playing at the top level but people now realise he was a rarity in his role and people now watch his videos to learn how to play as a DM/CM.

I am not saying FdJ is at the level of Busquets but his excellent positioning, passing range and control are often overlooked because he didn't win a header or body his way through a crowd of opponents.

I do hope Marc Bernal offers us everything FdJ lacks in physicality and in other subtle aspects but the pros of FdJ as a DM for Barca, far outweighs his cons.

There was a time when FDJ played like he wasn't interested but that time is long gone, he had an excellent game alongside Pedri yesterday.

Luke Shaw was horrendous yesterday...

Amorim on his part seem like someone hanging around for the paycheck...If we were set up in a 4-3-3 yesterday, we win the game hands down. For 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 to work perfectly, you need expert wingers and hardworking midfielders who are very good on the ball. This Amorim is very inept.

Even if I was the coach this team, we won't be so bad...

If a good coach handle this team, we will still win games with similar set up.
