Why not see the other side of the coin? We are yet to lose a game in Europe...Spurs too will look at our stay in the UEL and start thinking about how to cope with a team that just doesn't know how to lose in the UEL...

The way you guys are sounding, one will be forgiven for thinking Spurs are comfortably sitting at the top of the table.

Its a path to destruction because history has always shown you cannot consistently pick and choose when you raise your game for matches. The losing mentality is settling into the players and also helping our opponents who not only see where we are on the table but know we have not won a league match against a non relegated team since January. Winning mentality is extremely important. 17 league defeats is not helping.

I understand all that but at this point, the players themselves know it is just one game left that will determine if the season is a complete disaster or not hence they're all focused on that game and won't want to miss it, so I have made peace with myself that we might lose all our remaining games in the EPL.

Whoever said it is going to magically fix everything...A UCL spot guarantees we can spend more and attract players of a high quality, which is good for the team, so I don't understand what you mean by path to destruction...

Even if Amorim plays our best 11, they will be very cautious because, whether he likes it or not, the players know where our priority lies and none of them will like to sustain an injury that will see them miss the UEL final.

PSG was supposed to do an unbeaten season, but as soon as they won the league, they cared less about Ligue 1; even when Enrique fielded his best 11, they lost to Nice some weeks back.

A win does a lot actually. Confidence momentum etc ahead of a final. Also getting used to so many defeats is not good for any team. Not to talk of the difference in prize money for league positions when we know money is already tight. Even if we win the Europa League final, its not going to make everything ok. It doesn't work like that.

All we need is a ticket to the UCL, that's where the money is...At this point, finishing a position or two higher is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Let the players use the remaining games to build fitness for those who need it.

GEJ no try at all...There's no excuse why we didn't have functional seaports in the SS and SE and the 2nd Nigeria Bridge during GEJ's tenure right from when Yaradua died to the 4 years he spent as President...That period was when the price of oil was a record high...

You are looking at it from your point of view as a fan. Look at it from Henderson's point of view for once. If he does not complain and cause some commotion he will remain here as DDG's no2 until that contract runs out. And the more he keeps 10-15 matches per season the more his skills depreciate.
He is even lucky that we dropped to Europa this season cos in any season we stay in the UCL until knockout stages he will be struggling to make 10 apps. He can't waste his developmental years playing 10-15 games a season. It is not enough for outfielders not to talk of keepers that require more sharpness.

I understand but I still think De Gea has some good years ahead of him...

The useless of our defenders (Maguire and Lindelof) is making it hard to judge De Gea's performance...Let's assume Henderson is given an extended run as starter, will it make Lindelof and Maguire improve automatically? I think not...We just might find ourselves asking questions of Hendo in no time...

If Henderson doesn't make it here, the best option for me is Jan Oblak...I think he is the best goal keeper right now.

Henderson can’t be patient for the sake of his own career. Keepers more than other players must play continuously or else they lose their sharpness. There is a reason why clubs don’t rotate keepers the way they rotate players.

If Henderson waits around for 2 years he would lose so much form that another keeper would be needed to replace DDG.

One of them has to go.

Dean has made over 13 appearances this season which is not bad. Seeing that we are still in the FA Cup and UEL, I reckon it's possible he'll make over 20 appearances across all competitions...

It's not like he's not getting games under his belt, he should be patient...His time will come...

I actually don't know the level henderson has shown that makes people want him to start for us. If De gea is not good enough then go for another top level goalie. Henderson is not better than Nick Pope and I won't even want him to be United first choice talkless of Henderson. Tim Howard, Ben Foster and even Tomasz Kusczak are examples of quality keepers who have crumbled under the weight of being united number 1.

Henderson is still young and should be patient, in a season or 2, he will be number 1...
