Pls I need sincere advice from matured and experience folks....
I have been jobless for over one year.. I now started working with a woman who is a big business woman..she gave me a shop with goods worth 4million. She gave me price so I can add mine but her price is very high so I can hardly make gain...I am in my third month..she paid me 25K the first month and today she paid me 20k instead of the 25k..so I queried her why..she said my sales is poor and I have made over 1.7 million in two weeks..I have complained of her price that its affecting the sales.. She gave deaf ears..but the truth is that I make my 3k to 5k max everyday on sales ..I am thinking of quitting because its depressing when you salary is been reduced..just like you are demoted or something..but I am thinking of my daily gain and other possibilities that might increase my earnings..

Would I be a coward not to quit??

Please just try talking with her (like just apologise for the drama your coming has caused), like just plainly apologise even if you don't talk to her but apologise and assure her you'll do better. It seems as if she's not pleased with you. And please strive as hard as possible to avoid a repeat of this same issue to avoid sack or suspension, you know the situation of things in Nigeria now and losing a job like that won't be good at all. I wanted to explained what happened at my work place in details so you can help see to the matter..though a guilty conscience fears no accusations..

I worked with a woman who is very influential in the market. She has been in the sales of kitchen wares for over 27 years. She is very wealthy, has several shops in the market and also a very large plaza too..I worked for her some 13 years back..then I just finished my ND and was looking for where to do my IT but because I came out with pass, it was hard securing one..that was how I started working with her as the store keeper..I was working and making some extra change and was changing tops and trousers ( mind you na akube) I was also taking late sums of cash to the bank for her..I worked for her for a year but before I left..the woman's mother also stays in shop for her too..but she always accuse me of stealing hajias money..not until one day they summoned me and searched me while I was going home, they found nothing..I was angry and left..the next day Hajia called me and begged me..later I left and after these years of my own personal struggle.. I was able to buy a land, marry, bought a car too..but within the covid period, things seized that I had to sell off my car, the Indians I was working with went back and was jobless for close to a year before I now got an agent insurance job. The job was not paying but just to go out and not be idle. So I went into the market to sell insurance product and met with hajias brother..I tried selling insurance to him, he told me to stop wasting my time and meet Hajia to look for a job for me..I immediately went to meet Hajia..I told her about how I am working in the insurance on commission base..she was sorry for me..she asked if I can work in the market, I replied yes immediately.. She told me she's going to call me..after a week, she called me and told me that she will open a shop with plastics inside and she will give me price to sell, then I can add small thing on top..with salary of 40k. I was happy and thanked her..she told me there are many people she can do this for that I should not dissapoint her..
The first day they brought goods, I took inventory with the manager. He comes to updates sales and stock change..so Hajia came to my shop and saw that after the goods they brought, the shop was still scanty. She said she will add goods but its because of peoples behaviour that they Dont like helping..I told her I won't disappoint her..on friday her goods came and I reminded her of the goods she said she was going to add for me..she said I should come to her store to pick goods..I took goods with the knowledge of the boys taking care of the warehouse. I took out the goods and took stocks..luckily Hajia came and saw the goods I took..she was even saying that are they not much...I replied and told her that if she insist its much, I can reduce them, she said its alright..I gave her the stock i took.. She said I should go back to my shop..that the boys are going to bring the goods..when the goods arrived, it was brought by her first son..when he brought the first set..I told him to bring all that I would like to check the goods before moving them inside my shop..after he brought the goods I told him to leave a boy with me to help take the stock..I took stocks and 3 coolers were missing..I immediately snapped them and went to tell Hajia..they were like how come..I told Hajia it was God that didn't even allow me move them without checking, if not it will be in my head..(while I was working with Indians, anytime goods are transported from one point to the other, we take or rather check stocks to be complete, if they are not, the loss will be on the managers head) that was what prompt me to count the goods before moving them to my store..Hajia was like this has never happened all these years..that was on Saturday..I Dont come to work on sunday..and at my own shop, there's a store at the back where Hajia keeps her things..so on monday the manager the son came to check all the goods, while we were taking them stocks, I asked the son if they check goods before moving them to the store..he said no that he Has been telling the mum about it..he said I should go and tell Hajia..I told her and she said thank you..we went back to check my stocks and some small coolers were missing..I was confused cos I know that they take stocks and put in the computer..my stock I mean..why would I sell goods and not write it down and remit..her son went to update Hajia about what was happening..she came with the manager and was telling me that within the time I came, coolers were missing and now my stocks are not complete..that it three much..that do I think she's crazy or something...she left and I was worried cos I Dont sell without writing it down..so how come..the son too came and said those coolers were missing from my shop..I yelled at him that I know what I am doing..how can 3 coolers miss just like that..big coolers o..the next day when I opened the door..her son came and told me that Hajia said that they should lock the shop till further notice..I told her son to let me count the chairs since we haven't checked the chairs and I can now lock the shop..he was confused and was like whats really happening? I told him that how can I carry goods that I know it been entered into the system..and since she agreed that I can add small thing on the goods..is it not the goods that I will use to make gain..he said he will talk to Hajia and left..but when he left, I thought to myself..even if the son helped beg and she accepts..I still need to clear off that motive..so I started tracing my sales from the first day I started..I later now discovered that there are some coolers that were brought in the first place that are big medium and small..
All the coolers came in 10pcs each..after we took them stock..Hajia came to give me price and she told me I can sell the coolers as a set of three..I now set the coolers in 4 sets of coolers..I now sold them off and wrote them down as set instead of deducting them each each after sales..immediately I discovered, I called her son to come..he came with the manager and I explained with proof and we balanced the account without any loss of goods or cash..
She went to tell Hajia..everyone has that mind that I was the one that took the cooler and also the missing items until it was resolved..so I continued selling and her son has been coming to collect cash and update inventory..
But ever since then..there were some goods that were brought and I wouldn't know the price..I went to Hajia s shop with my book and the list for price..she said she was busy that she will come and meet me..she didn't come..I left..the second day.. I ignored and this morning people were asking for the price of the goods..I had to send her a message on what's app with pictures so she can send me prices..she saw the message but didn't respond..
Now I am thinking if I should go ask if there's anything else we haven't sorted out..if it were before I would have left the job..but cos of the situation of the country, I give my self brain but with her behaviour.. I am kept in suspence..
