femi4:i guess you need this! officially əˈfɪʃəli/Submit adverb 1.in a formal and public way. 2. with the authority of the government or other organization. 3. in public and for official purposes but not necessarily so in reality. |
femi4:What is the meaning officially? It appears you do not understand what you wrote |
Why do you think they refer to your real name as first name and other names as middle name? Your arrangement is not universal. Its your first name first, followed by your middle names usually in initials and lastly your surname usually in capital letters or bolded form uote author=femi4 post=58274096]Surname is also referred to as Lastname Middle name is also referred to as Other name And Finally, your First name is what everybody calls you. The first name in your birth certificate provided the arrangement didn't start with your Surname. Officially, names are to be written this way: Surname : Firstname: Middle name.
|

[quote author=Sleyanya1 post=57986003] Hahaha. I was trained to know that geologists are known for arguments, not just empty ones but constructive arguments that leads to a reasonable and acceptable conclusion. I don't need your forgiveness sir, you can present your facts. ....Drop your definition of a delta. ....present a geological map of Nigeria. ....Show me ukwa west LGA in it, ....shade the Niger Delta Basin Then let me see where your Ukwa west LGA in Abia state falls under and still tell me I'm not a Niger Deltan. Thank you.
I am really surprised at your maturity. I really love this. You are very correct on your definition of delta and all that. But I am saying that their basis of classification is purely on geologic settings of people living in a geologic basin named Niger Delta. I did explained in detail the concept and definition Niger delta and I know you don't need to be told of that. You are looking at it in the eyes of geography but the see it in the eyes if geology Danke |
[ Our problems as Nigerians are numerous, it does not appears that we can desperate political concept of words from ethmology @ op I really commend your attempt at such critical and yet divisive subject. But you posit a confusing position showing that you don't know much about your community. Our quest for freedom must not blind us from the already established truth. We have ibos everywhere in d world but that does not make them Niger deltans. If your position is based on oil producing States I will agree with you but if on geological divides which is actually the basis of Niger delta then you are wrong. Lagos state is an oil producing state but can never be called Niger delta because its in a different basin entirely For the record. There are five basins in Nigeria. They are Dahomey basin housing Lagos Ogun and Ondo States. This basin starts from okitipupa ridge and end in Ghana. The chad basin, the niger/Benue trough, this basin is a single entity in geography but different in geology. Then comes d Niger Delta basin housing the SS states. The Niger delta basin is made up of three formation s ie akata formation covering Bayelsa some parts if cross river, rivers akwa ibom. Then the agbada formation covering Delta state. Mind you the bulk of the oil taped in akata formation are formed here but migrate to where they find host rocks. The last formation is d Benin formation which terminate at Auchi. Covering the whole of Edo State. This basin is about 50m thick at around Auchi. And. About 3km thick around Bayelsa. This is d basis of the concept Niger Delta. None of the SE state is included by this classification. The SE is located in Eastern Scarp land which have a different geological history. The Ondo man may call himself Niger deltan if and only if he is from around okitipupa because Niger delta basin actually starts after okitipupa ridge but this area is relatively small so its may not be regarded. Even in this part of Ondo State you will only finds I jaw (izon) people. They are Niger deltans that were pushed out of SS by boundary adjustment and others. Contesting Niger Deltan on your basis is similar to saying that Delta State is SE Because of Asaba that was pushed out by boundary and other natural forces. I may have some blunders in spellings and others please pardon me. Its because I an typing from a dilapidated phone. Best regards quote author=Amarabae post=57846332]Good Day All! Happy Sallah To My Muslim Friends! - If you go into the street of Nigeria and ask, who is a Niger Deltan? 95% of respondents will likely fail the question. The Reason for this write up is that some Peoples ignorantly love to use the phrase "IGBOS and NIGER DELTANS". Its wrong and an embarrasement to the intellectual mindset. - First, What is a Delta? A Delta is a Land area where a River spread into diverse tributuaries before emptying into an Ocean or Sea. - Niger Delta is the delta of River Nigeria. The USA has Mississippi Delta. The China has Yangtze Delta. The Egypt has Nile delta. And so on. - In Nigeria, How Is A Niger Deltan identified, lets examine it in three ways and then solve the Igbos and Niger Delta Question. - 1) Niger Delta as Oil Producing Areas?- If Niger Delta is classified by Oil Producing Areas, that mean Igbos, Yorubas, Ijaws, Urhobos etc are part of it. - Yorubas produce Oil in Ondo state. - Igbos have Oil producing areas in Ukwa areas of Abia, Egbema, Asa/Ndoki, Oguta, Ogbaru, Ndoni, Omuma, Etche etc. - So if it is classified by Oil producing areas, that means all ethnic groups in southern Nigeria are Niger Deltans. - 2) Niger Deltans As South South States?- This is the classification many use to define Niger Deltan. And they even Ignorantly think Igbos are not part of it. I am an Asa lady from Oyigbo LGA In Rivers state. I am proudly Igbo and Niger Deltan. Also the Ndokis, Ndoni, Etches, Egbemas etc are also Oil producing areas in South South and they are part of the Igbo Nation. Ikwerre, Ogba and Ekpeye may be a battleground of identity issue but they are of Igboid stock. So you see if we use South South as classification of Niger deltan, IGBOS are part and parcel of it. - 3) Niger Deltan By Virtue Of Geographical Location? If we go by this classification, that means Edo and Cross River people are not Niger deltans, because there is no delta of the River Niger in their location. If we go by this classification, that means IGBOS are fully part of the Niger Delta. - My Final submission is that trying to create Niger Delta without mentioning IGBOS is a big FRAUD. There are Igbos in the term "NIGER DELTA". Even the River Niger is a dermacation between two Igbo Cities Onitsha and Asaba. - The days of divide and conquer are fading away. I am an Asa/Ndoki person. Oyigbo is my LGA! Rivers is my state. IGBO is my ethnic nation. And Yes I am a Niger Deltan just like my fellow Igbos like Etches, Ndonis, Egbemas, Ogbarus, Ogutas, etc. Thank you all.
|
Sleyanya1:If you are a geologist as evident in your post and you claim to be a Niger deltan, in line with op post I will not forgive you |

The way and manner people post nonesense here is what i dont like. This is not a place to nurse ego. Some of lack empathy. I was not shortlisted so i fear nothing. There are some people here whose last hope are on this job. You come here to post trash just to increase their BP. Telling them they will not pick them, what help do you think you are rendering. Infact we dont need info here cause e no help any issue. If you will get d job you will get it info or no info. I got a job whereby someone i have never met in my life just pick my name and added it that was all. I av started working before i knew what happened. Till today i av not set my eye on that man. He never show himself. All of us here our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. No fear you all will get the job in Jesus Name |
almubarak1424:I doubt the authenticity of your info. most of you posting things use to add salt and pepper just to scare people. I am not saying you dont have source but you either misrepresent the facts. Now since 2012 and as far as i know there have akways been a pattern in a massive recruitment like this. 3 persons per state representing 3 senatorial district and if you are very observant you will see it clearly here. Now i ask you, if they are goung to pick 1 or two person per state what will be the criteria and which senatorial district is too inferior to be neglected? Except that senatorial district has already be reoresented. That is why you see that some ministry were not shortlisted in some state and some states has more candidates in some ministries. I tell you if you were shortlisted and you were interviewed you will get your Job by the grace of God.Please let us always use our heads Thanks |
bosssss:Consolidated salary scale for level 8 graduate is about N81,555.23 but agencies may have other allowances. |
Edelweiss44:Nop you got it wrong The OP did confuse a lot of things Cars on the same speedometer reading may not be on the same speed. Lets see it this way Speed is defined as distance travelled divided by time spent Now are you saying that If i am on a toyota camry at 80km/hr and take 3hrs from lagos to Benin and another guy on let say EOd or so on the same 80km/hr and take 2hr 30mins from lagos to benin Are the same If your logics were sound Then all cars on the same spwedometer reading will definitely be on the same spot. That means the highways may be crowded especially after a pplice checkpoint where most cars are allowed to go at the same time |
obailala:I think its better to do the corrections right away without attacking his ego or personality. It shows your level of maturity |
donkafor:Oh it really help. I will try and contact my school. Thanks so much |
