Beetroot is rich in iron content and helps to improve blood count and blood flow. I recall when a doctor recommended it for a relative who was going through a Haemorrhage-related illness, getting it was an issue and when we found it at the Mile 12 market, it wasn't price-friendly!

A demonstration farm about one hour plus drive away from Nairobi where training on how to organically grow fruits, herbs and spices takes place. Rabbit urine and earthworm's waste plays a central role in achieving sweet harvests. From Strawberries, Pepino melons, Sage, Chia seeds, Peppermint, Thyme, Parsley, Marjoram, Coriander, Rosemary,Mulberry, Fennel,Gooseberries and tens of other short term crops. It is really inspiring.

Why should we apologize is zero-grazing rocket science? Are we not paying for the meat or is it given out for free? Rather than each state especially in the South to allocate land to them, the States should build internal capacity on dairy farming as a plot of land can comfortably accommodate 10 cows that will be producing about 250 litres of milk daily! These Fulanis should get educated and upgrade their operations!

i got #12000 for the 3 bags which i broke even from the first harvest and hoping to get my second harvest next week with more bags.

Really inspiring. Did visit someone who is growing butternut squash and courgettes with sacks. Courgette is of the same family with cucumber. The concept is all about the possibility of growing where hitherto seemed impossible. Seen a healthy looking sack farm set up on the decking of an uncompleted building. Even if ones lives in a premises where the ground is concreted.....all you need is a bag and passion!
