America is a place where 70,000 people are shot dead each year by guns.

That is equivalent to 200 Boko Haram groups operating all at once.

Just YESTERDAY a man went on rampage there, shooting 10 people dead, for no reason.

It's a very lawless, dangerous country that should be issuing travel warnings against ITSELF, not against other countries.

Just last week the USA pledged 10 billion dollars investment in Nigeria's renewable energy power program, and is set to help build solar power plants and other such facilities across the country. Would they be doing that if Boko Haram was still an issue?

All those companies and businesses running to Ghana are targeting Nigeria's population of over 200 million people to sell their goods and services. Just one policy of government will finish them all should Nigeria decide to place ban on imports (tho. difficult cos of ECOWAS treaty). We know the game that is playing, just than once a big brother, always a big brother.

Nigeria remains the giant of Africa and big brother to Ghana and other smaller countries.

The solution to Nigeria's insecurity problem is simple.. State and/or regional policing with restructuring. Waiting for someone at the centre to be giving orders and all, can't and won't solve the security challenges in a big country like Nigeria. This is not sixties for crying out loud, we need to wake up to realities.

Any governor crying insecurity is a goat and a thief cos they all have security votes (in billions) to secure their states but they are all keeping the money in their accounts. Federal can't police all at once.. States and Local govt. too should wake up and be proactive.

There are over 200 indigenous ethnic groups in Nigeria, I dont know them all. Most of them will.be voting in the coming elections, as well as putting foward candidates fir different elective positions

If you dont trust any of the 200 ethnic groups in Nigeria with the seat of Presidency, you really should not be in the same country with them

Don't bother yourself with any girl here if you're moving abroad, they'll take their lousy naija character along with them and cause you heart ache. The risk is a bit less if you've been married for years already. There are far better options when you travel

Be sure to set up a trust when you travel after making some money but BEFORE marriage. The trust should have your lawyer and mother as signatories and it'll handle all your expenses including boxers and toothpick

In case of a divorce, you own nothing that can be taken away from you, the trust owns everything

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council has tackled former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his endorsement of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP).

On Sunday, Obasanjo, in a letter to Nigerians, declared his support for Obi ahead of the 2023 general election.

He advised Nigerians not to be “confused nor gullible” about who to vote for because Obi has what it takes to put Nigeria on the right path to progress.

Reacting in a statement, Daniel Bwala, spokesperson of the PDP presidential campaign council, said Obasanjo is “one man who believes his role also includes choosing and imposing presidents per time as if we run a monarchical system of

“He believes he is the only former leader who knows what is right for Nigeria, and who has the celestial powers to predict the future of Nigeria and its leadership. He believes it is only his administration that has done well and hence the authority to choose the next leader or president. In fact, one of my American friends is coming over to Lagos this month but she's aware of the situation on ground. However, you can still come but you must know that it's safer to travel by air when traveling inter-state.
