Amodu. . . thanks. It's been a while, hope you're alright now.

Gambia has become the first team to book a place in the semi-final of the AYC. They beat Host Congo 1 - 0 courtsey of a last minute second freekick.

While Cote d' Ivoire's loss to Burkina Faso means they are out of the tournament, irrespective of the result of their last group match against Gambia.

What makes you think Hing can't silence sharap?
She finds it hard to cope with players with powerful forehands.

prof ade:
PDF, just seems like that. I like Gonzalez too. And Hingis, Acasuso and a few others. But after the way, Federer beat Blake in the finals of the season ending masters series last year, i just feel it's time for him to be on the receiving end too. And it's going to happen. He's still the best so far, but he's human and the others are fast catching up.
Haha! I remember that humiliating defeat too. I don't see Blake performing better against Roger anytime soon.

prof ade:
He's going to lose more games this year than last year but if he happens to play Nadal, then definitely I'll be supporting Federer all the way.
Aside Roddick, no player has shown that ability to beat Federer, so far. I know the season has just begun. Federer seems to have found the winning formula against Nadal.

prof ade:
By the way, I don't want sharapova to win the ladies either.
Though, I love Hingis but I'll prefer Clijsters to go through to the semis. I want to see her (sharapova) silenced for good.

Ade, you seem to be a fan of the americans.

The match between Federer and Robredo is on. Both players are struggling with their serves; we've had 4 breaks already in the first set and it's just 4 - 3.
SportsRe: For Tennis Lovers: Australian Open! by PDF(op): 8:59am On Jan 23, 2007
Roddick has booked his place in the semi finals after crushing Fish 6/2 6/2 6/2 . He will play the winner between Roger Federer or Tommy Robredo.

Serena also continues her unbelievable run to the semis after scraping past Peer. Her next opponent is Vaidisova, who also beat fellow countrywoman Safarova.

Nadal's in trouble; he's a set down and also a break down in the second set. I think I need to give Murray more respect.

Update: Nadal just broke back.  Running commentaries will take up Seun's space. I'll rather wait till the end of the match. It's all square now at the Rod Laver Arena, one set apiece.

I expect Nadal to carry the day if they go the distance, since he has a way of tiring his opponents out.  Vamos Rafa!

Gonzalez is on fire! he ousted Hewitt, he has now ended Blake's run in straights sets.

Nalbandian is also out.

As for my mighty lucky women, Schnyder has joined the long list of fallen seeds.

At least Mauresmo's "pointers" are conspicuous. tongue

Blake has a chance of winning, if he doesn't meet Federer in the final.

Let's see how Roddick fares against another big-server, Ancic. I really don't like his style of play.

I thought I was the only one who gets irritated by Sharapova's noise.

toptho, why don't you like my classy Mauresmo? Is it because of her sexual orientation? or her masculine physique?

I also wanted Safin to win but I'd love to see a Rod/Fed semi-final clash, that's if they both win their next two matches.

I have a feeling Wawrinka might upset Nadal.

So if u got a message from careers@uacfoodsng.com then you should be at Ojota by 9am.

The scammer took advantage of UAC's mistake; the Human Resource Manager shouldn't have listed all our email addresses openly - that's why we have the BCC's column.
