The way you people overrate this serial looser called Atiku is baffling. Osinbajo with the structure of the party would have defeated him squarely. Who would be speaking about PO if PYO was on the ballot?
Underrated Atiku at your own peril. He mayn't be liked naturally as Buhari but he has the spread n financial warchest. Osinbajo is a neophyte in Nigeria politics bro. He would've been a match to maybe people like3 Bagudu but not Atiku in this era. APC would've even been a history by now let alone talking about structure. Who is there ready to work for him? In fact, ask analysts, you will see reasons APC is lucky that they didn't fall for PDP's antics to field Osinbajo or Amechi.

That game vs Arsenal was actually so uncharacteristic of Haaland's play which is why it was so surprising to many pundits. He needs to do more of that frequently then maybe I may just become a fan.

For now though, he remains an EPL Lewandowski.
Since you saw him do it, it means he can do it any time. He's a no.9 for crying out loud and sticks to instructions from Pep. He was bought for a reason, not to defend, dribble but to score goal. His presence is why it's very difficult to park bus for City. His positioning and threat on defenders makes it easy for anyone to take the keeper and the defenders on surprise. Haaland is doing what he's meant to do perfectly. Pep is not someone you'll disobey his tactics without paying for it. Because of Haaland, City now play counter attack. Do you expect him to leave his role and come to drag the midfield with experts there? Messi's role is understandable, he's no.10 hence, he dribbles, assists and scores.

The Pastor Sentiment in the zones I mentioned would have worked for Star Boy. NC states like Fct, Benue, kogi, kwara (Coz of being a Yoruba), Nasarawa , Plateau would have given him millions of Votes. No be mouth talk ...... Add that to Millions of votes from SW. The Christian votes in the north for enter for am too. I also make bold to say If it was Obi vs Atiku, Obi for tumble Atiku b4 11 am. Using the same Permutations. Anytime Yoruba and Igbos align, middle belt always follow suit. The north always finds it difficult coming against a united South....
Oga it's it bad to believe in your opinion but I still think you are a virgin politicaian/analyst to know that no one would've defeated Atiku apart from Tinubu and Osinbajo would've come distant 3re behind Obi

why u dey reply that one wey just dey watch ball. According to stupid pundits and coaches like lampard and ten hag the work of a striker is to drop deep link up play and ghost. Like Gabriel Jesus and weghorst. Forget haaland na striker. Person get ibrahimovic/inzaghi and ronaldo' heading ability in one player with lukaku strength abeg if I be coach if I get haaland no need to disturb myself again na to just dey drink juice cuz I know goals don sure. It cost Chelsea 126m to buy enzo while city spent only 50m to get haaland who's has scored more than Chelsea in all competitions
Some people are just annoying in this forum. Why should anyone complain about Haaland's style if play? I guess they're just envious of him that he's belittling our almighty league. I know many EPL fans that don't want City to win this league just because they feel that 3 in a row is a disrespect to the league grin

he wanted him it was fergie that intervened. He as already agreed with city sef. Pep wanted him on a short term and the deal included him not playing week in week out. He agreed to the squad rotation policy of city. Pep was tired of using false 9 he needed a clinical no9 like aguero. Now he has haaland who has similar xterics with ronaldo and ibrahimovic. Something he needed a player capable of holding up play link up and push up the pitch. The likes of gabriel Jesus is not direct that was why he sold him off to arsenal. Alvarez is direct but not tall he need someone who was brilliant in the air. Cuz pep has really changed now he integrates counter attack with possession football. U saw that against Bayern and arsenal.
You're very correct but Pep will be the happiest one now that the deal didn't work grin

How is calling someone envious or bitter for giving an obvious false info an insult??

He knows the truth but decided to ignore it and chose to give a false info.... only envious or bitter people throw that type of character.... he tried to twist the narrative and that's y I sent the proof... just because of his hate for Ronaldo....just because city never showed interest in Messi despite being managed by his former coach ... reality and truth is something Messi fans hate due to their hate, envy and bitterness towards Ronaldo

Oga, go and sit down. You guys praise Ronaldo for goalscoring over all round Messi. He's not a midfielder, neither a winger. He's a central striker for God's sake. He's not meant to dribble with the ball when he's facing the keeper or take it back after the MFs has finished their works

Congrats to Erling for the record breaking feat but mehn, his tap-ins are too much and very boring highlights reel for me. I'll give him credit for his exceptional positioning and finishing though.

I'm a sucker for artistry, finesse and wow factor so I'd always go with a De Bruyne or Mbappe over him.
Please, can you define the work of a central striker? Can you still acknowledge the role he played against Arsenal last week?? Stop being... grin

yomi531:
Big lies. There are 2 ways about it. Atiku wins in the event when Obi is also contesting because, Obi will take Igbo votes while Star boy takes SW and share NC with both of them. In the second scenario, which I really feel would have been , Atiku vs Osinbajo . I feel Obi for no even get that mind to contest if Osinbajo was on the ballot coz , most of Obidients like us would have queued behind Osinbajo. So in my opinion, Atiku vs Osinbajo would have been flawless victory for star boy. No reason am. E go dey like Nigeria against Hausa/Fulani. 4 Geopolitical zones against 2(NEandNW)
You're making a big mistake in the whole political event that would've played out. Who told you that Obi wouldn't have been in the ballot bcoz Osinbajo is contesting? What would be his share in NC? Obi would've beaten him blue and black in Lagos bcoz there won't be foot soldiers there for him. He wouldn't have have any clout to strike a deal for Rivers votes, not even coming second in Akwa Ibom. Propaganda for being Buhari's vice and economic chairman for over years in a chaotic govt would've swept him to a minor candidate. Atiku knows that Tinubu is the only person that can defeat him in the whole country, that's why they were sponsoring propaganda against him before and during the primary. Don't be deceive bro, Atiku is just unlucky to eventually have Tinubu in the ballot.

Big lie. With Osinbajo, There wouldn't have been anything like Obidients in the first place. SW,SS, SE and 60% of NC would have voted for Star Boy. Tell me how Votes from Sharia states alone can make someone President. Una no ask Buhari howfar b4 Tinubu gave him S /western votes in 2015?? Atiku for still fall flat against Osinbajo.
Ogbeni you don't know anything about this 9ja politics. Atiku would've won b4 9am that faithful Saturday
Politics › Re: APC Would’ve Lost To Atiku If Osinbajo Got APC Ticket – Igbokwe Counters Sanusi by Peacecore: 9:01pm On May 03, 2023
AndroBlaze:

I think this is a good analysis.

If Osibanjo had won the ticket he would have won all the Southwest states including lagos, probably only getting an extra 500k - 1million votes than Tinubu.

He would also have won Edo, Kwara and Kogi. He'd win Benue and Plateu and at least have got 25% in Abuja.

The game changing state, Kano would have been a real issue. He would have come a distant 3rd in that state which would have scattered the winning formula for APC (i.e eating the core northern vote). He would have done far worse in the core North than Tinubu and unfortunately Atiku would have rode to an easy victory as the only region Osibanjo would have dented votes that Atiku got would have been the North Central.

Obi would have also come a very distant 3rd as only his clansmen and the South South would have voted for him He would have won not one single state out of this sphere and done worse in the South South as a whole than he did in this election. Wike too would have probably written Rivers result for Atiku, as he would have seen no need to fight PDP when it was clear Atiku would win the core north unfettered.

Osibanjo would have only had a chance to win this election if PDP had done the right thing and given it to a southern candidate (i.e Obi or Wike).

Its funny how things play out but Tinubu's ticket seems to have been a masterstroke for a poorly performing ruling party and the only way for a Southern presidency against a popular Atiku.

Though maybe if Atiku had won against two Southerners, that half of the country would have realised the importance of taking elections far more seriously and strategically and stop limiting themselves with emotions.

Who born Osinbajo to win Kogi and Kwara?

The truth is that tinubu would have worked against APC and that will result to failure. If the election were to be free and fair, some people who voted for obi will have simply vote for the vice president.
Tinubu may not be the best candidate it the truth is that any other southern politician apart from him would've lost to Atiku before 9am. That's the fact.
