I use an 06 Volvo S40. Quite a good and rugged car. Just maintain it well and it will treat you right. 3 years and counting, engine and transmission can't be any better. Parts are available at Alhaji Amusa Street in Iyana Isolo, and very cheap, especially for the type you want to get. If that is what your heart desires, go for it and enjoy it. One thing I have learnt from the cars I use now is that: never allow anyone discourage you from buying your choice of cars. By the way, I have every reason to complain about parts because I don't even reside in Lagos. But hey, I am not, because I hardly need them. |

Hello, How much is a 2003/2004 BMW 5 series and 7 series? V6 is preferable to V8. If you don't mind, advise me on the price of 03/04 E class also, for comparison. Thanks. |
buJu234: buJu234:Personally, I think you are a paid agent of Neconde, either directly as a staff or indirectly through other means. That probably explains why you are averse to the truth. So you think NPDC staff are not competent? Yet, they said they have achieved what SPDC could not acheive in terms of production in the divested assets. They went further to buttress their argument with facts which every objective person believe. So, have they not surpassed the capacity of IOCs which you said should be met. You also insulted civil servants, which to me, makes you immature. Secondly you spoke about Neconde not owing and NPDC not paying. It may interest you to know that Neconde has not paid a dime since May 2014 as cash call, and only NPDC has been financing the operations. Specifically, Neconde owes NPDC over N9billion and US$450million as cash calls arrears. So who is owing who. For knowledge purposes also, oil companies owe contractors and not communities. So, mentioning Odidi, Batan, Egwa etc shows you know next to nothing about this asset causing the brouhaha. The JOM that you spoke about has also been overtaken by events. It shows that you are not in tune with reality at all. It is now outright transfer. As for why NPDC is against JOM, I got some reasons which I am unwilling to share on this forum. Finally, I don't think the strike is about the salary or welfare of NUPENG and PENGASSAN members, rather it is about ensuring that what belongs to Nigeria is left for her, and not scandalously transferred to private hands. One question you should honestly ask yourself: How come the transfer became necessary only few days to the end of an administration that has been in power for six years? Your guess is as good as mine. |
I heard from some sources in NPDC that the minister sold e operatorship to herself, using one funny company that was incorporated a few months before the sale. If also learnt it is pure fraud and that she is transferring all government assets to herself using various fronts so that she can keep stealing even after leaving power. This woman is truly the mother of evil. |
Quite a lovely car. My wife uses the 04 or 05 model. Loyal if well maintained. Pls always use the right oil. Na wetin fit Bleep you up be that. I also observed that the no of escapes now are unprecedented, which keeps me wondering why ford is yet to think of an Assembly Plant in Naija. |
Do u have Mobil 3309 atf? Or Aisin JWS 3309? And how much? What of pure guard global atf? |
Is this the best that you can do? No price, pix? Just m and mmmmmmm OKay o! There is God o. |
wheredemdey:You get bad belle and mouth o! ![]() People as honest as this guy stating the real problems of his car are rare on NL, and the least we can do is to commend him, instead of wishing him bad luck and Jonathan together. @op: happy sales and keep being truthful. |
Good night |
@ Nlers, This car is sold. Thanks to everyone, from the person whose aim was to copy the VIN from the vehicle for auction export to verify, to the person who after negotiating with me asked his wife to call me for reasons best known to him, as well as people who genuinely wanted to buy the car but key wasn't available during the festive periods and those who said the car had stayed too long without being sold (4 months o!). The list is endless. It was fun and a good experience anyway, being my first. |
No way, gents @big blow& vichyke. That is the price there. Good night everyone. |
N950,000 is an excellent offer for an 05/06 European machine. Trust me. Call me. Still available |

Hello house. |
Good evening all, |
Come grab it. Happy Jum'ah service. |
Good morning, gents and ladies. |
Based on the quoted online review which supports the view that crv and rav4 are ranked higher than the escape, I accept your opinion and you win. But when you consider the uniqueness that an escape offers, coupled with reduced cost, people like myself may still want to stick to the escape. Perhaps this explains why the escape is increasing in number recently. Thanks for the online resource. |
abatically:Different strokes for different folks. I respect your opinion, but I have colleagues using Rav4 and crv of similar years and I see the performance of these cars. Its also true that escapes are cheaper. I also don't understand what you mean by build quality, cos for me, rav4 is damn too short a car. Also, I prefer the interior of an escape to a crv. Don't know much about the ix35, so can't comment. Personally, I think it is the craze about Toyota and Honda in Nigeria that has made people overlook the escape. Otherwise, I think it should be ranked higher than rav4 and crv. |
Good day, everyone. |
Good night, everyone. |
sultaan:Oga sultaan, Pls how can I get parts on Amazon or eBay without having any shipping address in the US? Or do they ship to Nigeria directly. Thanks. |
Aren't people buying machines again? This is the way to go. Too sweet to drive. Just N950,000.00 |
American cars are one of the best to own, esp fords. You can't be wrong with a Ford. It uses same parts with Mazda, mostly. Everything available in ladipo. I am over two years on an escape now and cruising like crazy. My favorite journey auto now. Personally, I hate those Japanese cars. They are too common. Go for it if that is where your heart is. |
shikfu:Thanks, man. Happy New Year. Still up for grab. This European machine is da bomb. |
