Lol who ? I have never voted ...you lots don't really understand Igbos at all . There are 2.5 to 3 million Igbos that are really into politics and would vote no matter the election ...there are over 3 million who only vote when there is a right candidate or someone they believe in is contesting

There are another 2 million who never registered and don't care about Nigerian politics ,they have zero PVC ...

Peter Obi have 90% of all these groups trust me

Oga make you go tell this to a kid. Since 2015, what has been the number of votes cast in south east? Good candidate! Good candidate. You all made GEJ your Angelic candidate right? Did south east got up to 2.7 million votes in 2015?

Una just like plenty talk. No substance.

Lmfao ...go and check Anambra ... governorship election is different from presidential election starting back in 1999 go research ...

Igbos hate to waste energy win with 1 million votes ,win with 20k vote win is win

But in presidency when we know margin is important go research ... Anambra gave atiku highest net vote last year

Did total number of votes got to 800k in Anambra state in 2019?

Guber election is different from presidential election hope you know that....

2011 anambra gave good luck 1million votes

No south east state can post a million vote going into next year election. No be that time way Card reader and PVC no day. Now there is card reader.

South East 3 million ? Lmfao you guys don't know what's coming next year ...it's good you all are underating south east voting strength ...

South east would give nothing less than 5 million votes come next year ...5 million minimum

Expect 1.5 million from Anambra and IMO , 1 million from Enugu and abia , 500k minimum from ebonyi ...e go shock people this time

2011 would be child's play...compared to 2023

Yet we didn't see up to 220k votes in recent Anambra state election. Una go just open ina mouth wa day talk plenty

For where?

They must start testing their popularity in practical terms.
Politics / There Should Be No Excuse. Labour Party Must Contest In Osun State Election by peacekante: 9:17am On Jun 21, 2022
Last week Saturday, election was held in Ekiti state. Traditional political parties contested the election. APC, PDP, SDP and also Labour party(reportedly collapsed their party structure in the state into APC) and other political parties contested the election.

Labour party decision before the election means they didn't contested in the election.
That can be excused. The party was a small party(still relatively small) and couldn't compete because of it size. But it has gain tremendous popularity since peter obi joined.
However, this popularity need to be tasted. If ekiti state election last weekend was a missed opportunity, next month election in Osun provide the perfect dress rehearsal to taste it's preparedness ahead of the main election next year.
It provides many opportunities. If not any, it provides peter Obi and the party the opportunity to build on the party structure. It starts now. Peter obi might have missed the opportunity to build APGA better than he met it, but labour party present another opportunity for him.
Many still delude themselves saying "they don't need structure", but it is important. Like I said before, structure is why peter obi is in talks with Kwankwanso .
There is a reason why there is a friendly match before a sport tournament. Labour party should utilize the opportunity Osun state provide. It is not going to be necessary if it lose. If it lose, fine, it can work on its lapses. If it wins, great. And added boost . Collapsing it structure into APC or PDP shouldn't be acceptable in Osun. The party is building confidence of it supporters that it would win the election next year, it must start practicalizing it.
Experts sees Ekiti and Osun state loop sided election date as a pointer to the direction of momentum going into 2023 election, that is why APC and PDP are doing everything to come out victorious. It will be a missed opportunity if labour party doesn't taste it's preparedness and it's popularity next month.

This young igbos are really funny.. if Na this wisdom Ejike mbonu , Sam mbakwe, Chinua Achebe and others before us take follow nigeria .. walahi igbos no for be igbos in Nigeria ..

Biafra is not an organization or physical movement
Biafra is spiritual .. is a movement in hat millions died for and are praying it comes .to reality from their grave ..

You can start a biafra movement without consulting with those before you, those that have gone and those alive

IPOB is not Biafra .. IPOB is an organization.. I IPOB is not igbos ... igbos are members of IPOB

That is it ..

They igbos in IPOB has Made mess of the Biafra struggle
The present igbos elites have failed to educate igbos properly on why the need a country

The ideology behind IPOB has been hijacked by never do well using propaganda to brainwash igbos ..

Now the questions after all this is

Has IPOB abandoned the international Diplomatic approach and none violence according to the UN charter and focused on Forcing Nigeria to conduct a referendum.. which they IPOB know is not possible ..

Who’s responsible for the killings and arson in igboland
They formed ESN .. before this igboland was relatively peaceful .. except for herdsmen marauding the villages and killing .. which was happening all over southern Nigeria at that time .. then suddenly the herdsmen disappeared from southern Nigeria ..
they disappearance brought about the violence in th East

Esn was created to chase Fulani herdsmen causing problems and protect igboland from violence
Now same Esn is protecting igboland and ekpa boys and nwaora boys are killing
Why is Esn not protecting igboland again .. since Fulani has disappear from southern region with their wahala .. and occasionally hit in the outskirts

Why the pressured and forceful sit at home at the detriment of igbos against their wish and IPOB are saying that is affecting Buhari .. and that government is losing money .. ask which government ekpa said state governments in the east .. igboland .

Listen

IPOB dos , autopiloters, nwaora are humans wey their interest is to make money from igbos and keep leeching them at the end partition igboland
Presently Dos control Abia and some part of imo and Enugu

Autopiloters.. IMO state and venturing into anambra Okigwe

While their bingos with empty tommy come online to scream their ignorant out

We all want Biafra .. but not this IPOB and their animal barking

They’ve failed in their quest..

And their igbos are withdrawing that trust with musCle

Till the spirit pick another willing human that won’t fail like uwazurike and Kanu ..

All agitations are personal with interest

IPOB can’t go to UN again and talk referendum
Even if they are not terrorist at international level

So what next ..

Keep sitting at home .. stunting igbo growth and threatening igbos ..

Even if Kanu is released tomorrow.. what’s is his next step

IPOB fvcked up big time ...

This is the last days of the organization.. no matter how the propagate the propaganda

Biafra spirit has left them .. just like MASSOB ..

They’ve been relegated

Biafra is a spirit

So you are this intelligent? shocked

April 30, 2012
By VICTORIA OJEME
Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, weekend, dismissed as incorrect insinuations of failure of leadership on the part of President Goodluck Jonathan for many socio-economic woes besetting the country.

Speaking at the Nigerian Leadership Initiative, NLI, forum organised by First Bank PLC, with the theme, “Power without Authority: Leadership Crisis in Nigeria”, Bishop Kukah said the religious, economic and political issues constantly confronting the country, is as a result of the inability of successive governments to confer authority.

He said, “the problems of Nigeria are not caused by Jonathan but the rot is happening at his time. We have become comfortable in the rot that we are in because, the things Nigerians have got used to are things that are absolutely unacceptable in other parts of the world.”

According to him, “we live in an environment where the abnormalities of yesterday have become normal. Our leaders are accidental tourists, we have never had a President who has name recognition so, where we find ourselves in Nigeria today is not an accident, we need to go back. Nigeria is notorious for never concluding a debate, they simply push it aside,” the Catholic clergy added.

He, however, expressed optimism over the transformation agenda of the present administration saying that “all the materials available should be enough for that transformation to take place”.

Bishop Kukah further canvassed urgent need to change the leadership pattern of Nigeria if the country wants to make head way, saying, ”there is a sense of emergency about changing leadership pattern in the country”. Nigerians must understand that democracy is not all about winning elections but internalizing values and the political elite must rethink the whole process of truth, if the people love and trust their Government, they will support its rule of law”

In his remarks, Head Public Sector, First Bank, Mr Muntari Zubairu called on young leaders to make use of every opportunity to identify and solve problems to avoid an escalation into crisis.

He argued that young leaders should “give serious attention and get information needed for development, they should begin to identify and solve problems before they get to crisis point, since leadership entails being proactive rather than being reactive”

He assured that First bank will continue to support any laudable initiative, targeted at developing the country as part of it’s corporate social responsibility.

WATCHOVER:
I don't think Peter Obi has the political war chest, considering how the zone he comes from have been politically, and considering Nigeria political airspace how emotions and good public speaking don't win elections. For me if only he was in the ruling party his chances would be clear but this is Nigeria, were leaders rise through hard fought battles.
The unity of the East is still scary, they have less states, their voter turnout has been relatively low except they bank on votes from. DELTA AND RIVERS Humm... it will be difficult for Obi to win, kiss the fact

If peter Obi was in APC, it his people that will rubbish him. Imagine David Umahi who is by far the best governor of south east since 1999 has been rubbished by his people since he move to APC. same as Sullivan Chime.

Haven't you seen how they rubbished Rochas too

If Nigeria does not build a progressive country based on justice, equity and fairness, there will be many more Simon Ekpa to come
