Thank you for your feedback. Let us put things into perspective. We love our Igbo brothers and sisters. However, it is not right to call us, non-Igbos "useless". We do appreciate your mercantile and hardworking nature, but we are not so useless.

This week, for example, Anambra passed a 2024 budget of ₦410 billion. Enugu passed a ₦521 billion budget. Abia budgeted ₦567 billion (of which 70% is to be borrowed). Imo passed a ₦592 billion budget, even as Ebonyi passed a ₦202 billion budget.

If you combine the total budgets passed by the five Southeastern states, it is not up to the ₦2.2 trillion budget passed by the Lagos State Government. And unlike those five budgets, the budget passed by Lagos is mainly sourced from internally generated revenue.

Yet, despite this, you don't see Lagosians or Yoruba calling others 'useless'.

On a per capita basis, Igbos make more money in Lagos and the Southwest than in the Southeast. You can also trade on Mondays throughout Nigeria, except in your home region.

There are over 30 Igbos elected or appointed into government in Lagos alone, including Representatives, Commissioners and LGA Chairmen, amongst others. When you add the entire Southwest, that number increases to 50. Northern Nigeria followed the example of the Yorubas.

There are Igbos elected and appointed into various political positions in Northern Nigeria, including Chidebelu Ewuzie, a Special Adviser to the Gombe State Governor, George Dike, a Special Adviser to the Niger State Governor, Kester Ogualili, a Special Adviser to the Borno State Governor, and Cyprian Nelson Len, an Igbo man who won a House of Assembly seat in Taraba, amongst others.

How would you expect them to feel as you call them 'useless'?

The problem is that only a competent court of law can decide who is a criminal, and who should be in detention

So far, all the court judgements are that Nnamdi Kanu had no case to answer and should be released

This delay tactics the federal government is playing at the Supreme court will get them nowhere. Eventually, Tinubu will have to show the world if he obeys court judgment when the Supreme court also orders Kanu's release

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has set December 15th as the date to make a final ruling on the case of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

I dont know about this News that Tinubu will release Nnamdi Kanu soon, but should it happen, Nnamdi Kanu's legal team should insist that the Supreme Court give its ruling. The Federal government government knows that Nnamdi Kanu's case is watertight, there's no way you can go to another country, kidnap a man, break the Nigerian extradition act and other international laws, and expect any sane court to support such illegality

Thats why Nnamdi Kanu was discharged by the courts. Should Tinubu order Nnamdi Kanu's release before December 15th, I dont expect Kanu to grab the bars of DSS cell and refuse to go no where. However, Nnamdi Kanu and his legal team must insist that the Supreme court judgment be delivered on December 15th
