If you want to apply for the Manitoba PNP, you can ask on the PNP thread for better info but she can claim points with it. For FSW, you cannot claim points for a cousin. The relative has to be a sibling

Please , i have a question....When applying for the Express Entry, do i need to have a relative in Canada to be qualified?

My wife is the PA because of how efficient she is in english and qualification but it's my cousin that's based in Manitoba....can she stiil say she has a relative in Canada?

Here is to both share my testimony and also encourage someone that's indecisive.
Like I've stated somewhere on earlier on the thread, I wrote my IELTS on the 4th of June with the following result
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 6
S 7
I went for the result on the 20th of June & I didn't even bother to take it out refusing, rejecting and submitting for EOR, Long story short, 7weeks on, today I got my reply with the following result
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 8
S 7. My speaking was not increased but I forgive them TWO (2) whole band review on my writing.
So here's my big thanks to all those that shared link for IELTS prep way back. iphie28 (sorry if I miss the figure) et all, now I can boldly say THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU

Thanks for sharing this. However, have been contemplating on applying for EoR, but with what you've written, will go to their office tomorrow to apply against my "writing" test. I need an overall band 7. Will update the house in 7-weeks time.

Hopefully, it will come out as expected.

the same lady conducted the test for me today. But she wasn't as strict as you described her. maybe she was in a bad mood yesterday sha

LOL, just going through this thread and i find this section quit interesting.
my listening test was don on the 24th july, and i want to believe i was interviewed by the same lady you guys are talking about. However, the mood was right for her on that day(luckily for me), at a point she laughed(quietly) when i gave a personal experience story i framed in my head which was quite funny. Anyway, it went well at the end though.
Wrote the exam 30th July and am patiently waiting for the results.

Will share when its out.

How does one check/preview IELTS Life Skills A1 Test result? I did one on the 14th of July, 2016 but their website: https://ielts.britishcouncil.org/CheckResults.aspx does not recognise my details. Meanwhile, i have used this same link in the past to preview my IETLS General Test and it went well.

I suspect there is a disconnect somewhere. I have called their useless telephone line several times with no headway.

I hope someone here can point me in the right direction.
