Christianity EtcIs Making Heaven As Difficult As People Make It Appear? by pearlhapi(op): 9:54pm On Aug 15, 2012
Gudevening you all, this issue has really been bothering me for long and I think its time I let it out and get views on it.while I was growing up I attended the same church my folks attended till lastyear when I joined another religion.while in my parents church I saw christianity as a do or die affair,a very strict religion where you ought to be concious of your doings.where when u commit a sin you should sober and cry and beg God to forgive you.of course no wearing of trousers and the so many rules[not a deeper life church tho]at a point, lastyear precisely I joined another church.it was a whole different affair.christianity became fun for me and no more a struggle.I knew and was concious of the life that I have.it was no more a struggle cause everything became broken down.I got to know that all one required to be a child of God and heaven bound is to confess jesus as lord and saviour•as in jhn 3÷16•i also got to know that living right should not be a struggle as all our sin both future and present has been taking care of and the sins we commit won't stop us from going to heaven due to the death of jesus.now I have come to understand that sin cannot stop us from goin to heaven so far we have confessed and made christ the lords of our lives and even when we commit crimes it is not counted against us cos its been paid by jesus•I need to get clarification•

Uniquexty: i guess we dont have a national president or national executives and so think it is out of place for someone to regard his opinion as final. We are all suggesting because we want the progress of the association and so dont want to believe dat this has turned into a one man biz. Well! Raph has made a gud suggestion and i second him. YAN is funky enough if we define the term young well. If we can regard the young in the area of the association and not the members, then its a headway. I also suggest we draw conclusions in a more democratic way. Those 4 YAN, raise up ur hand..... Ouch! We dont raise hands here. K, voting wil be appropriate. Like, i vote for YAN, or i vote against YAN. I love this association because YAN ROCKS
simple and precise•for me that settles it all•@chrixty I didn't feel like stopping while reading this•hope u t doin great

DailyNews: Nice, nice...the minutes is awesome! Kudos to you guys, now I see, warri no dey carry last....Lolz...warri here means South-South, lol. Okay to the business. The name suggestions are okay, but believe me, YAN seems to be the cutest name we have presently, because of its flow in pronunciation and all of it, it will go along way in promoting us faster. I want you guys to understand that we can still change the name at any time we see a dire need for it, but for now, for a start, why not we go with YAN to give us an easy start? YAN will be easy for kids to pronounce, easy for anyone to remember & even use as a slang or whatever, which would be a plus for us in publicity & all. Regarding the age restriction, it can also be ammended, to avoid too much hassle with those over-aged folks coming to dictate things the wrong way, it is better we run this as youths & then expand the coast with time. Don't forget that with the addition: Young, it gives us an edge in every ramifications, and will attract national & international attention. so for now, the age limit stands, and members over the age limit will be inducted into the YAN fellows, a senior membership section of YAN, I hope that sounds nice right?

For the registration, I second the South-South suggestion of 5000 naira registration fee instead 500naira, because 500naira won't go far. we seriously need fund to push our goals, & to bring them into reality else we may not achieve our goals- both short & long term goals. So let us have a rethink on the registration fee, I believe 5000naira for non-student members is okay, and maybe 2000naira for student members.

There won't be any zonal leadership after the official launching & registration, to ensure unity & fast decision making. Leadership can never be our problem, by God's grace, this association will live to be an example. Emyo I called you & you didn't picked your call & didn't flash back for me call back, I hope you are okay over there? do beep me when your free to answer call, so we can talk or you can call me anytime of your choice. I have not been hearing from peaceworld, I hope he is okay too? His line wasn't going through. Christy, how have you been, the Giant lady behind the South-East zone...Lolz...pls I am sure emma is okay right? Diamondwriter, Dubemkelly (no other news from your end, hope your good?), phiozy, the woman that made things happen in the NC...its really been a while...I am glad to see more ambitious females join the cause- harpy pearl, et al...we are glad to have you & others to come, pls let us all keep spreading the news & be warming up for the official launch! Finally, if you have any objection, suggestion or contribution to make on: registration fee, name, etc, pls kindly drop it here too or you can still forward a copy to: naija.writersclub@gmail.com, but make sure you air your opinion here for all to read & contribute. soon, we will be having an online meeting to discuss other issues, more especially, the CAC registration, website esign & launching, fund-raising & launching activities. Happy sunday evening to you all!
the young man that frowned against the name YAN actually gave he's reasons which I feel shouldn't be totally over ruled but sort of looked into.any organisation is potrayed majorly by its name, and when we say YOUNG that should be between age limits of about 13 to 25at maximum.but like I heard the age restriction on this organisation is maximum of 40years.and a 40 years old man might not want to go wit that name and identity•secondli what if someone who would really be of paramount help to the organisation wishes to join but is above 40?do we nau say ooooh you are soo not wanted here or what?I think for an organisation that's at its peak they really musnt be restrictions and everything should really be defined•if you call it young then it should be for people of about 25 years maximum but if on the other hand you want to include people between the ages of fourty or more then the name really has to be looked into•otherwise YAN is a preety cool name but will a fourty year old writer wana associate in an organisation with the term ”young“otherwise like you said it really would attract attention and the name sounds so easy to understand even but how do you convince the older people who are already complaining?am just asking and suggesting
