Fashion / Re: Abeg Ghana Wax Or Swiss Wax? by pearlyseed(f): 8:55am On Sep 16, 2008
I would advise you to get ghana wax. they are cheaper and more durable. Its also a lot much cheaper in ghana than here in nigeria cos the sellers here buy the cheapest design in ghana and sell at such exhorbitant prices here in Nigeria. For example, i got some woodin and ankara from ghana and i must say they were really nice. my bro actually helped buy them since he is in ghana.the designs were not common, neither were they expensive. i must say i got value for my money and made profit too. wink

Everybody seems to be hailing Seun for what he said and criticising the poster. How absurb ! The poster raised a very valid point which i think we all should take a cue from and make amends where necessary.

Lets try in our own little way to keep our own area clean and watch the transformation that will happen when each person takes responsibility for his surroundings.
Fashion / Re: Pro 10 Hair Products by pearlyseed(f): 11:43am On Sep 05, 2008
There's nothing wrong with buying it in balogun market. Why pay double the price when even the salons buy the weave on from Alaba market n balogun market?
Fashion / Re: Pro 10 Hair Products by pearlyseed(f): 11:44am On Sep 04, 2008
I have also used it before and i must say its really nice. But trust me, if you want to buy it,go to Balogun market, a pack goes for as little as N1,100. I bought mine a couple of months back for N1,600. Its a lot cheaper now.
Romance / Re: Sistas Help! (marriage Plans On The Way. Love Still Missing In Transit.) by pearlyseed(f): 10:27am On Sep 04, 2008
@ poster.
am having a strong feeling that you are the one, but whatever the situation, i wish ur friend the very best.

Anyway, just like others have said, its either she's not sure of her feelings for the guy or she doesnt love him at all.
It cud also be that she has suffered a heartbreak in the past that is making it difficult for her to love again.

It happened to me too after i broke up with my ex,it was real hard for me to love again until i met my present boyfrien.d.I think they should give each other time to sort out their feelings and see what comes out of it.

All the best

I used to a long time ago before i started working, but i dont do so anymore. Dont think it's nice to patronise second hand clothes cos u dont know what infection the person had. Dont really think its safe.

For now, i go for new clothes all the way. wink

Family / Re: Banned From His Wife's Bedroom by pearlyseed(f): 3:26pm On Oct 25, 2007
Seun:

Hmmm, it's her bedroom. You have to respect that and settle the quarrel. That's all. Peace.

Most times i just wonder at Seun's Posts. Why wud a wife ban her husband from her room? its really unheard of in these parts. The most she can do is not talk to him, but banning him from her room? thats another ball game.

U know what, lets the husband change the key to the room, this way the wife gets banned. grin grin grin grin

I av been to your church some couple of times, friday, wednesday ans sunday service.
what i notice is that your church is a funky church.
one can't get spiritually over ther
though its an interesting church

ehie007, it depends on what u mean by getting spiritual. Daystar helps u to express urself to God in ur own way not pretending to be someone else, that to me is spirituality.

Romance / Re: Who Should Ask, 'Will You Marry Me?' by pearlyseed(f): 9:41am On Aug 03, 2007
GTay:

i think its decent for a girl to know if a guy she's dating has plans for marriage or not!
But Marriage Proposal is different from this and should definitely come from the Guy!
For me, i think its a magic moment and should definitely come from the Guy! smiley

I quite agree with u GTay.

I think the best thing wud be for the two of you to know if the relationship will lead to marriage, and once in a while talk about it so as not to assume that the guy will marry you when in actual sense he sees u as nothg other than a friend.

When u both know where u r going, its only a matter of time b4 he pops the question. grin

Romance / Re: She's Threatening To Get Married In Four Weeks by pearlyseed(f): 3:24pm On Jul 12, 2007
True Love sure does wait. If she feels she has met someone else who wants to marry her, then let her go ahead and marry him.It might just be God's way of telling u somethg. At her age,she should be thinking of having a degree and subsequently getting a good job, not marriage.

If she cant wait, let her go. Dont promise what u cant fulfil.

All the best. smiley

Thanks a bunch guys. I really appreciate all ur comments and pieces of advise, i sure wud take a cue from it.

As for being friends with him, i really dont av a problem with that but i must confess that it is really painful.I love this guy a lot and i was really committed to the relationship while it lasted.Initailly he told me that i wasnt serious about him;i had to convince him that i was, now its a different story entirely.

I really am gonna try to move on with my life without him,but i must confess that its not that easy.

Thanks all thesame.
