January 1547 - January 1552 Europe Russia is able to expand to the East as it is able to finally defeat the Khanate of Kazan, Kazakh Khanate, The Astrakan Khanate, and the Nogai Hordes. A string of bad luck for the invaded nations have allowed Russia to expand much further than it had expected as it has been able to conquer the Khanate of Kazan, Nogai Hordes, and Astrakan Khanate. The Eastern Wars of Expansion, have made Russia grow stronger and bigger as the Tsar begins to digest its conquests. The Kazakh Khanate has fallen into civil war as the death of several of their leaders and destruction of their military has lead to mass instability. Russia has begun to send forces to support one of the warlords as it plans to fully expand in the area. So far they and the warlord control the area around the Aral Sea and everything north of it. The Rough Wooing ends in a surprising Scottish Victory as they win against English forces. This leads to France to send forces into the Region and for a major grow in Scottish attempts for independence as attacks on Scottish population by the English make them less willing to join England any time soon. French forces in Scotland grow. King Henry of France is unable to fully win the war against the Habsburgs and fully commits to the Scottish campaigns for the moment as the Ottomans inability to help plus the defeat in Italy makes him look at other areas of expansion. The Italian Wars of 1548-1552, end in Habsburg victory as the Ottomans are defeated, plus with the conflict in England requiring French assistance the French back off for now. The Protestant Uprisings is started by the supposed Prophet Luthor, who leads to a major uprising against the Catholic Holy Roman Empire in Central Europe. While he is supported at first by the Schmalkaldic League, things quickly go out of control as his forces are much more brutal than was expected. Attempts to put them back in line leads to them to come in conflict with the Schmalkaldic League which makes things even worse as the Luthorans begin to kill any people, noble, or destroy any region that is not with them. In the end the Uprising is put down by Charles who uses extreme force that depopulates the area. The Protestant faith is massively hurt by this as their population has gone down and famine is affecting the Protestant areas of the Empire. In the end the Catholic faith is able to grow into this vacuum as many were put off by the brutality shown plus many nobles are unwilling to support the Protestants for fear of further conflict . Many leave towards England as growing persecution leads many to move. Americas Forces loyal to Spain are able to defeat Peruvian forces and put in Royalist forces. The Mapucha are defeated by Spain and its native allies. A Mayan Uprising has been crushed as New Spain incorporates the last of the Mayan lands. After a Spanish ship is lost it lands in North America around our timelines Virginia. After they are found, the Spanish send forces into the area gaining control over what we call New England. After some time wars between Spain and its native allies allow them to control the East Coast and begin to send settlers into the area. New Spain sends its own forces into what we know of Louisiana, allowing them to control the entry of the Mississippi. Asia The Ottoman-Safavid war ends in a Ottoman victory with the Ottomans holding territory in the Caucasus, but it is a Pyrrhic victory as many Ottoman soldiers are dead and the Ottomans have spread themselves thin even further. The Portuguese are able to keep their holdings and even begin to fortify them as they Persian attention is fully on the Ottomans. War is likely in the future. The Portuguese are able to gain several ports in Ceylon. A series of war occurs across the Burma-Thailand area leading to the Portuguese to expand into the region as they are able to spread Catholicism into the area. A group of Catholics are able to reach Yuan and begin to spread the word of Christ across the area. The Yuan-Ming wars, begin as a series of conflicts between the Yuan and Ming. The Yuan were surprisingly able to win most conflict up to sacking Beijing but were forced back. This was because of one Prester John, an unknown European man who traveled into the area. Getting the attention of the Yuan leadership, he was able to bring a re awakening of the population and make them significantly more unified. His introduction of new strategies leads to victory which leads to many to actively convert as many see the favor of God that lead to their victory.

Empiree:I find this claim hard to believe. Yoruba, Christian or Muslim are the most tolerant major ethnic group in Nigeria. And I am not Yoruba mind you but Yoruba are even more tolerant than my people.
The schools you mentioned are not private but public. They were private mission schools prior to 1974. Since the 70s govt has taken over. This includes Muslim mission schools as well. So why are only Christians complaining?. Intolerance!!!!!!
Yeah, the government officially took those schools, without giving the builder any compensation, then didn't employ anybody but left the same missions there to run the schools because they didn't want to do their work and surprise, surprise, the missions continued to operate the schools as mission schools. When the staff remain the same, the funding remains mostly the same(from Churches), the organization remains the same, the government just changed the sheet of paper on who officially owns it, is it a surprise to anyone that the rules remain the same?. Abeg, they should do like they did in North and the rest of middle belt (Kwara is included in middle belt) and build and fund actual government schools, instead of churches funding it for them. |
This site is pretty bad for images, huh. |

Empiree:Last time I read on this was the issue in Kwara and when I dug deeper it was mission schools that the confused government wanted to take over but refused to either employ their own people or pay damages to the original owners so the missions continued to run their schools as the private institutions they always have been. I served in real government schools in the middle belt, where most of the employees were Christian, there was no issue with Hijab, neither did any of my friends reply they had an issue with Hijab in those they served in. This isn't an issue in real government schools, this is an issue in missions schools that government is claiming are public. |
Empiree:I will like to know the Bible School that says this, I will have to go and talk with the quack of a theologian and probably crypto-Muslim or Pan-Abrahamist that was lying to him but that would be giving this story too much weight given that from everything here, it is quite obvious that this is one of those made up tales of miracles and persecution that make their way around pentecoastal whatsapp, finally having their Muslim version. The Bible isn't like the Quran that very few people can read in Arabic, there's no sacred language for it and transliterations are also EASILY AVAILABLE. Here's a link to the original Greek of the quoted passage, transliterated word by word and there's no Mohammed cuz Mohammed and similar words are Semitic, they won't even appear in Greek by mistake. https://biblehub.com/john/1-21.htm But then again, I really shouldn't be doing this since it would make people that produce these tales cook up more believable ones, I should instead not be giving them corrections and be letting them to cooking up stuff so bullshit that Christians and Secularists that read their book can just laugh it up. |
Empiree:Emphasis on Public School. Government should undo their confiscation of private mission schools. Its not like CAN is disturbing anyone to not wear Hijab in State and Federal schools. Again, let them stop trying to force mission schools to be public schools. |
I see no Fulani ethnic markers on their dress or appearance. Even the wrappers look southern. The Braids are non distinct. I see none of those temporary Fulani tattoos. They aren't close to Fulani style tents. This better not be someone presenting a bandit or community clash attack that killed southerners as evidence of Fulani being killed. You can't gather Igbos for example in one place and not have someone sporting southern ethnic markers but somehow, out if several Fulanis no one sports a Fulani ethnic markers? And the source is a useless tabloid site. Unless they have a respectable article to back it up, these look like southerners to me attacked by cultists or herdsmen to me. |

MaxInDHouse:And? Again, using Iron as an example, just about every early Iron age society did some incantation in relation to it, African people did it also, so should Christians not use Iron now?. And I can dig up an old old testament quote about no wearing clothing made from two different fabrics and not shaving the sides of your beards but I'm sure you do those. |
Nigeria’s state oil firm, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has picked 16 consortia for its new crude-for-fuel swap contracts for one year starting in August, sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters. The list includes major Swiss trading firms Trafigura, Vitol and Mercuria, oil major Total as well as large Nigerian traders Sahara Energy, Oando and MRS Oil. The contracts, known as direct sale, direct purchase (DSDP) are coveted since they are used to supply nearly all of Nigeria’s gasoline needs as well as cover some of its diesel and jet fuel consumption. Two sources said each consortium would receive 20,000 barrels per day of crude oil in exchange for products, making the combined total 320,000 barrels per day of Nigeria’s output. Nigeria produced about 1.5 million bpd of crude in April. The companies were invited on Friday to submit commercial bids, which were due on Tuesday. Those involved in the process said the list of winners was unlikely to change substantially. A spokesman for NNPC said that the list was still being finalised but did not provide further details. The new DSDPs will replace those from 2019 which were extended until mid-2021. If a foreign oil company wins then it is typically paired with at least one Nigerian firm. The FG is about to begin the prosecution of 400 suspected Boko Haram financiers, the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami said on Thursday. Mr Malami said the government would soon “resuscitate and reinvigorate the existing special terrorism courts in the country” for that purpose. This comes about a week after Mr Malami told reporters at the Presidential Villa in Abuja that the government was profiling some high-profile Nigerians strongly suspected to be financing terrorism for prosecution. He had disclosed that investigations revealing the suspected terrorism financiers were triggered by a recent conviction of some Nigerians in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for funding Boko Haram. When asked about the number of the suspects already identified, he said it could not be given because investigations were still ongoing. Mr Malami, however, gave a clue about the number in a statement released by his spokesperson, Umar Gwandu, to commemorate the Eid-el-Fitr celebration on Thursday. The minister also said the government was taking more measures to counter insurgency and general insecurity in addition to the move to prosecute the 400 suspected Boko Haram financiers. President Buhari has approved the supply of power to the Aluminum Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON in a bid to return it to full production capacity. The move, according to Buhari, is to ensure that the nation’s economy is revamped through the mineral and metals sector. This was disclosed by the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, during his extensive tour of the ALSCON facility in Ikot-Abasi, Akwa Ibom. Ogah stated that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) described the approval to connect the company to the national grid as a sign that Buhari’s administration is committed to ensuring that the ALSCON is functional due to its great economic potential that would benefit not just Nigeria but Africa. Ogah, in a statement issued by the Director of Press, Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, Mrs. Etore Thomas, stated that the company could employ about two thousand Nigerians when it began full operations. He added that the federal government would provide all necessary support to see that the plant is up and running. The Managing Director of the ALSCON, Mr. Zavalov Dmitry, revealed that shortage of gas supply forced the plant to shut down in 2014. Dmitry, however, disclosed that the company has commenced plans to restart the plant and appealed for the provision of alternative sources of gas supply because “globally, industries that produce metal always have two sources of supply of gas.” Kenya’s High Court ruled on Thursday that a drive by President Uhuru Kenyatta to change the constitution was illegal, stopping what his critics have called a political move designed to check his deputy, whom he has fallen out with publicly. Parliament has already passed the proposed amendments, popularly known as the Building Bridges Initiative, which mark the biggest change to the East African country’s government structure since a new constitution was adopted in 2010. But issuing a ruling on several challenges lodged by various parties, a five-judge bench of the court said Kenyatta had used a constitutional provision reserved for citizens to initiate the changes, making the process illegal. “The president cannot be both player and umpire in the same match,” said Jairus Ngaah, one of the judges. The government, which wants to hold a referendum after Kenyatta signs the bill into law, said it will appeal the ruling. Kenyatta says the bill promotes the sharing of power among competing ethnic groups to reduce cyclical election violence and is not targeting anyone. It will create 70 new constituencies, return the role of cabinet ministers to elected members of parliament, and create several powerful new posts: a prime minister, two deputies and an official leader of the parliamentary opposition. Kenyatta initiated the changes with the backing of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, after the two made peace in January 2018 following a divisive presidential election the previous year in which the president beat Odinga. The rapprochement isolated Kenyatta’s deputy, William Ruto, who wants to succeed his boss when he steps down next year after serving the constitutionally allowed two, five-year terms. The constitutional amendments are partly designed to tame Ruto’s political ambitions, by making it possible to cobble together an alliance against him, said John Githongo, a prominent anti-graft campaigner. “It is very clear that some of these alignments are to sideline him,” he said. https://www.sbmintel.com/2021/05/daily-watch-fg-to-prosecute-400-suspected-boko-haram-financiers-kenyan-court-dismisses-kenyattas-constitutional-changes/ |
rottennaija:When I see any if them, I will tell them. |
I no SE Buhari tenure bad but make that one no make you forget see Jonathan tenure been bad too. |
NorthernAgender:If there is Mohammed in Enugu (which there is), there is Godwin in NorthWest. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:Hey it is always Igbos right? Won't this country be better if you listen to them and eject Igboland from Nigeria like they are asking?. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:Throw any insult when you want throw. We both also know that ESN said their job is to protect the forests and villages, not to replace the police in their jobs in the cities. Tell me, were these suspects in the Bush? Were they not in the town with Police? But upon that ur useless police cannot do anything. And given that Police and army have been attacking them, of course they are not strong enough to fully do even that one that thy said they would be doing. And I never said anything about if I believe ESN can beat "Fully armed" Fulani, like come on, the Fulani Herdsmen themselves aren't "Fully armed", fully armed would mean being on part with like Maitama scorpion military guard. |
So Police have finally caught some of the unknown Gunmen that Northerners, Police (especially the commissioner) and Newspapers like TheTribune and DailyTrust have been calling ESN for months now, without any evidence. And now that some of the Unknown Gunmen have been arrested, it turns out it was Fulani Northern allies. Didn't Kanu, MASSOB and Imo governour say it wasn't ESN? And they were correct. Now what else did they say about this? That it is a plot by Federal Government and Military to declare martial law in Igboland and destroy the place. |
Police Arrest Two Northerners Behind Recent Attacks In Imo The two suspects are identified as Godwin Danladu and Bamaiyi Gada, according to Igbere TV, as the police confirmed that its operatives recovered an AK-47 rifle from the suspects. The Imo State Police Command has arrested two gunmen who are alleged to be among the unknown gunmen causing crisis in the state in recent times. The two suspects are identified as Godwin Danladu and Bamaiyi Gada, according to Igbere TV, as the police confirmed that its operatives recovered an AK-47 rifle from the suspects. The two men, who hail from the North-West region, were also nabbed with military uniforms. Imo State with adjoining South-East states have been at the centre of violence for months following unprovoked gunmen attacks on police and other security establishments which have led to confusion in the region. SaharaReporters had on May 3 reported that policemen deployed to the South-East states were deserting their stations, and now preferred to go to work in mufti due to the pervading attacks. It had been reported that most policemen, particularly those who are not Igbo indigenes, are desperately seeking redeployments amidst fear of the incessant attacks by “unknown gunmen.” SaharaReporters had on April 19 reported that most policemen in Abia wear mufti, after heavily armed men attacked Uzuakoli Police Station in the Bende Local Government Area in a string of other attacks on other stations. Investigations revealed that the officers are seeking to be deployed to investigating units such as the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Inspector General of Police (IGP) Monitoring Unit, and special Squad. It was also learnt that the affected personnel are currently meeting with their contacts within and outside the state and are willing to pay for their redeployment to be granted due to the fear of unknown gunmen. While some senior officers believe that the officers should remain in the state to tackle the insecurity, others have already reached out to the police high command in a bid to facilitate the deployment. Some of the officers also based their request on the need to be reunited with members of their families. http://saharareporters.com/2021/05/13/police-arrest-two-northerners-behind-recent-attacks-imo |
donyfrank:Let us come together and draw border to go out own ways. |
mii4u:Unnecessary ethnic tension. Also, shouting Fulanis Herdsmen at everything, deminishes the impact of the accusation. |
Chukwuka2021:Also, which experts? https://www.newtelegraphng.com/plot-to-declare-state-of-emergency-in-seast-behind-attacks-in-region-ex-dig-okoye/ Here, a former police commissioner has said that many of the attacks haven't been following the same pattern as IPOB and the weapons seized from ESN so far has been traced to weapons list during EndSARS' end, not from the recent attacks. From here, https://dailypost.ng/2021/04/23/enugu-new-artisan-market-gun-wielding-cattle-dealers-attack-police-commuters/ We see Fulanis traders attack police sent to search up their market for terrorists and weapons. These attacks were carried out with sophisticated weapons and followed in the same style of sporadically shooting into the air as did the recent attacks on a Bank that left 2 dead. The only "expert" that have read saying this was a US foot soldier in the middle east and he made no claims on who is responsible for the attacks, if anything, given the recent incident in the artisan market mirroring recent attacks on Banks, I will blame who so over was hiding in the artisan markets that the police came there to search for. And how come they haven't captured those responsive for the attacks? Why should IPOB go and fight for Police and endanger themselves for no reason? ESN has also stated that it's goal is to guards the forests, why haven't you asked why ESN hasn't carried over the other dozen and one functions of the Police as well?. Like I am impressed how so called Igbo people are forgetting that until the recent attacks by Fulanis Herdsmen, IPOB had no political Capital in East. Like do you think the people responsible for the insecurity that validated ESN's existance in the first place are unorganized?. |
You either haven't been following up on the story or u don carry Igbo name to hide ur real identity |
lordcabasa:The person the article is from is retired, they don't have any governmental interests to speak of and they aren't alone, Imo state and MASSOB has also laid the same accusations (among others). |
maasoap:To suppress any ounce of agitation. This is the same government (as well as it's last two predecessors) that has been killing Shi'ites whole sale for supposed unproven ties to Iran. That did the Lekki shooting. That hired thugs to crash the protests in Abuja and Benin. It is obvious that their response to descent and public disatisfaction is disproportate force. |
advanceDNA:And how.many times did Nigerians burn buildings and ask for religious or ethnic laws in the UK? Like let us not forget that the Muslims in the UK are mostly foreign descendants. We should be looking to what the Indigenous are doing and again, not up to 1% of them are Muslims, nobody will take them seriously if they ask for Sharia so they don't. Nigerian Muslims are half the population so they know they have the population to complain and push for their wants. |
nairalandankrah:I don't know why MURIC likes lying, the British colonized at a time when you were having radio shows that described them as half Atheist. Like that wasn't a society interested in forced conversions and even the colonial administration, preferred the Muslims who they saw as having been civilized by Arabs and stopped Missionaries from preaching or making schools in North, as well as expanding Northern territory to below the Niger and Benue that Sokoto Caliphate had never held. This is ridiculous to anyone that knows the history. And you see the logic here right? When added with that pew research centre has analyzed that with Sharia North having x2 the birth rate of south, by 2020, all things remaining stable Nigeria will go from 45/40% Muslim-Christian to 70/25% Muslim-Christian. This is what they are demanding for with slight Majority, what you you think they will be asking for with twice the population?. Break up Nigeria now if you don't want an Islamic state. Also, Nigerian courts are secular and don't consult the Bible or Church canon law on anything, while it is required by law to recorgnize Sharia up to the supreme court level, and we are supposed to think this is evidence for "Christo-Western" when it is actually "Islamo-Secular" and now they just want to end it all and simply turn it "Islamic". |
advanceDNA:How? And who exactly are you referring to as white, because if you are referring to Europeans as white, the Only white Europeans that were majority Muslims are in the Balkans and till tomorrow there are still ethno-religious tensions there and during the Balkan War and World Wars, the Muslims were mostly cleansed from there. |
nairalandankrah:Islamic Republic of Nigeria. This is what they are asking for now. When Sharia states huge birth rates makes them easily the majority in Nigeria, what will they be asking for then?. Islamic state of Nigeria can go it's way from secular state of Nigeria. |
bolaayenimo:Until the links are both proven and that he is also in support of them proven, he has no obligation to. |
