Initially Sowore said that there was not much money in his account last year. Now the story has changed. What is Sowore doing with such huge amount?
he lives in the USA so 200,000 would be a small amount there school fees alone there can be up to the equivalent of 40 million and the minimum wage there is $6 per hour with a part time job being 4 hours in a month someone living on minimum wage takes 257,000 naira home in a month so yeah for someone living in and having a job in USA it is a small amount it can't even pay for his plane ticket back to New York, USA

They cannot continue banning drugs like this and while there is a non addictive substitute for cough syrup there are no non addictive substitutes for pain killers like tramadol that is why they are heavily regulated in developed countries pure heroine is even used as a pain killer for very painful injuries but alas in Nigeria it would be very difficult to regulate most of these as the government does not have the infrastructure to regulate even most of the hospitals and corruption makes it near impossible to regulate the few that they can *if the government wants to help they should start by tracking the flow of these drugs from their production/importation to their sale in pharmacies and use maybe even make it that only registered hospitals can buy them or give those hospitals special government issued papers to give to patients who want to go to the pharmacy to buy it and periodically run checks and balances on the drug number in random pharmacies and making sure to get to all*
