You use your discretion bro. Bolt won’t be in business for long if everyone keeps short-changing them. Like it or not, bolt is more profitable than uber.

It is true that trips fail on occasions but if you’re using a nice phone and a wifi, you’d hardly experience that.

Not forming say na me holy pass but let’s do what we can.

Stay safe guys, uber doesn't have your back.

This driver was lucky to be alive and to think uber blocked his account after the incident.

You have been noticed.

Good day

kodred:
Why would you collect #500 and later go review the trip? To satisfy your ego or what? If you have accepted the loss and collected #500, then what’s the point of reviewing especially if it’s a cash trip?

Point is if you collected the estimate and didn’t review, then it’s a case of ‘God catch you, I don do my own back’, which is cheating plain and simple.

Just saw this.

I think guys need to learn one or two things about first aid techniques in cases like this.

I know;
1. Mouth to mouth action or lifting the leg up, but wouldn't it be seen as subtle sexual harassment?
2. Chest compression (CPR)

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by peeps4u: 8:45am On Nov 26, 2019
What's fair in collecting 500 from a tip worth 2000+ because a malfunctioning app shows 500?

Drivers should bear the loss right while bolt fails to fix the app?
And when the later reviewed price is more than the one you collect, bolt takes the commission on the new estimated price, who bears the loss?
Who is responsible for app failure and fix it? Drivers or bolt
If it isn't fixed, who should continue to bear the loss? Drivers?

Put your car on the road and correct the abnormalities if u think drivers are cheating.

kodred:
Is this not fair?
Christianity Etc › Re: UNN Witchcraft Conference: CAN Fixes Prayer Conference On The Same Date by peeps4u: 7:59am On Nov 26, 2019
Africans, we are backwards.
Whites will investigate and do research in mysterious things and that bring inventions but we black over spiritualize things and throw away every common sense.
Black man will have an headache, he will think it is one enemy but a white man will seek for the cause so he knows how best to prevent it.

This is just purely a research/seminar which doesn't promote witchcraft or ridicule Christianity.

So he should pay for the app's failure?
This isnt cheating. That is the loss the company will experience if they don't fix their apps

kodred:
So you’d rather cheat than be cheated.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by peeps4u: 8:57pm On Nov 25, 2019
Isn't this what is done and you said they're cheating?

You still want people to do estimation even she the estimate price might not come up instantly, leaving the drivers at loss because taxify will deduct their commission from the new estimated value despite the riders paying lesser amount.

kodred:
If the trip fails, use the estimate from the rider’s app and do + or - depending on the traffic conditions.

Then do a review. Deliberately not reviewing and collecting the estimate from the rider’s app is cheating.

People don’t see it as cheating though. They see it as ‘God catch you’ because you lots are too vindictive.

I've also been a fan of amdman here and I've posted several times in his support, but I've observed with distaste how people mob every critic here. Please don't cultivate the habit of shutting down critics here. Your 'Stan' for amdman may not allow you see his flaws at times, let people who see his flaws and where he derails and have genuine and fair criticisms do that and let amdman respond, don't be his advocate.

I've seen a lot of fora/groups went down because the members were busy ass licking the admin and didn't allow dissent.

You need to know that not everyone who disagrees with amdman or criticizes him on one issue or the other is a bad belle. So drop this overzealous attitude and let amdman be his own advocate. He needs critics to better his business, sycophancy will ruin him because sycophants will continue to hail him and not tell him the truth.

Good luck to everyone

You're not far from being scammed if you ever believe something is covered there. It is not real and nothing is there. They only come up with matches to put there after a while.

But where someone with 'corporate' job, who derides drivers with fun, is always locked on this thread following every gist? Why the interest in following the 'kabu kabu' thread?
We understand nitigriti was once a kabu kabu man, but CEO?

Anyway, the nigga is enjoying his freedom and right to post on any thread he wants. Let's just learn to overlook some comments and not over flog issues for the sake of peace. Some enjoy the attention and mentions they get here.

Oh, it's even UAE.
The rate at which those people reject Nigerians and Pakistan's now is alarming. I've seen several job ads with "no nigerians" captions.

Seems the fare is fair, a win for drivers with the 15% commission. Uber will feel it a lil because this Opay's already established name will see people migrating to them at the moment.

For every "The Young Shall Grow" you see, there are about 100 competitors that didn't make it.

Every transporter will not be as successful as YSG. It's not a curse, it's a fact. Stop comparing everybody with everybody
And are there no many struggling young people who are yet to make it in the white collar jobs?
Are there no many people who have also failed or earned peanuts with freelance writing?

"Identify your hustle and do it well, don't let anyone look down on your hustle" that is my message.
