Remarkable:
My friend, your problem is not that there are bad roads in Aba, your problem is that the man in charge is not Oti of first bank. since he lost the appeal, all of you that had hopes of Ikpeazu being kicked out by the appeal court after 6 months have fizzled out, butr you still don't want to lick your wounds in peace, you r target is now to rubbish anything Ikpeazu is doing, has one, or even is about to do.

Have you been to hospital road, I challenge you to go there and tak ea pictur3 of all the work going on there and the numerous other roads in the town.

again, that Ikpeazu is the boss is what's making you sad. If really you care about those roads, call Magic FM between 9 and 10 each week day and voice your opinion, they will alguh at you and ask you which bush you reside in or ask if you are blind not to see all the contractors working day and night to meet the governors ultimatum.

The Sun tabloid has retired from attacking and lieing against Ochendo, but don't want to do same to Ikpeazu because the Ngwas will hit back hard on him.

I was gonn' say "sorry" for your pain, after losing in the appeal's court, but seeing you have an agenda, what I will say to you with a finger holding down my lower eye-lid is.. "onyiii..."
I don't belong to ur state. I don't care who wins or not but good governance is what matters to me. If ur brother isn't doing well, telll him just so he can do better. Abia. Needs urgent attention on roads no excuse! No apologies! No arguments! It is for ur own good

You are a capital foool, Ikpeazu will fix the whole Aba within six months as a magician or what? If you are not satisfied with his ideas of fixing linked roads first, just pack you bag and head back to your cave. Thrash.
Look u don't need to be hard on yourself ok. I'm not petty so don't expect me to communicate like u.
Pictures don't lie. Those pictures show the state of roads in ur city. If ur governor is going the way of orji kalu n ta orji, sorry is ur name... he is doing just same. link roads u said? What link roads is he working on exactly and with which construction company? Name those link roads and the company handling them. Has he unveiled developmental projects and masterplan for u people? If he can't develop his fatherland land who will do it for him? Abia is in shambles and aba is in a state of mockery

Stop using you guys for me as I am not from there. I'm only being realistic. Aba is a very large unplanned city which developed from a small planned city to engulf peoples villages and towns in a loose sprawl that later got filled up in a disorderly manner. Port Harcourt had similar issues before Amaechi and he invested so much money to improve it to today's level because he met oil boom and Rivers is rich.
So abia is no more an nddc state? By the way, where is the oil revenue 13% going to?

Aba is only bigger than umuahia ok.

and again, please why is this OP not telling people that the worst roads in ABA are the FEDERAL ROADS.

For such a city, the work is enormous even for two states to handle, because Aba is very big.

Aba-Owerri road
Ikot Ekpene Road,
New Umuahia Road
PH road
Aba-Obingwa-Isialangwa road

these roads are a mess, these are the worst roads in Aba, and these ones put strains and stress on the other smaller roads built.
Rhetoric to decieve the masses! Aba is not big ok! I repeat! Aba is not big

I mean, this OP is trying to be mischievous, I know he went and snapped all those inside Ngwa road, Ohanku dem to flash as if it is all bad, there have been improvements, but these sides have been bad even before OUK came in.
So inner cities aren't suppose to v roads. Ok aba has the best road network in the world!! Clap for urself! Ur state ur agony!! I wish people from ur state can be asked to return to be more vocal about ur plight

By the way, where do u live and when last did u go to Umuahia?

I am not defending OUK, the only thing I liked about him is Enyimba FC, nothing else, except also he tried to fix Aba roads small, I grew up in Aba, and I can tell you how many roads OUK initiated and finished, even tho they weren't durable, but unlike the other thief he imposed on Abians.
No credit to orji Uzor
Umuahia is not better than abakalike, owerri, enugu, awka so what are u talking about?

well, when Orji Uzor Kalu was there, the city was ok, not first class, but just ok, T.A never did anything for Abia South, he is from the capital Umuahia, and he concentrated in Umuahia only, esp after Aba people nearly killed him for the same reasons in his first tenure.
Aba soil is usually waterlogged, so if u leave a road unfixed for say a year, the whole place will be messy.

Some of those roads were maintained by OUK, but the dimwit that just left did nothing, Umuahia is first class capital city by Nigerian standard, so it is a sharp contrast with Aba.
Guy stop telling lies. Orji brought that ta orji n imposed him on u people! Orji did plastic roads and was never serious in his 2nd term only looting! Which umuahia is first class? Umuahia that looks like a village!

I don't know your motive but it has been generally accepted by all and sundry that Aba was neglected for decades and its easier to destroy than to build. With the limited resources available in today's Nigeria it will take 16 years to make noticeable improvement. The present Governor to me is trying.
Look guy! I'm not being sentimental here! Trying is not what people need to hear! U guys left this great city to be in such a mess n u are saying this! Yes he is trying with similar gra gra others did too. Let him put tractors everywhere n not when Raining season sets in gbam better excuse as if other governors aren't working during raining period. Surfacing already constructed roads isn't anything! Look at urata, ph road, crystal park. Guy take ur time ooo if okey does not construct his father town and make it good who will do it for him? But at this rate ma guy! Okey is just playing ooo he is not serious at all

These roads I repeat again! These roads are not motorable! Keke has places to stop and people will trek across heavy water log to enter another Keke to some other damaged and diveded portions of the roads!
These people are suffering. Then I ask again what has the government been doing with tax and federal allocation and inland revenue?

The governor has refused to pay attention to roads in the aba inner city. Ohanku road, evina road that leads to Ogbor hill with a bridge across the little river, iheorji avenue, obohia, igbere road, all the inner city roads have always been in terrible shape. These are roads Nbakwe could not complete in the 1980s till now have been left that way. They have not experienced any form of asphalt or government intention to build, contract or plans into initiate any visible plan for the masses. These areas cover about 3 lga namely aba south lga which suffers most neglect in the history of nigeria, obingwa lga and ugwunagbo lga.
The governor should leave the media and pay serious attention to these roads. Over the years, they previous governments and governors have lamely blame raining season as reason for not constructing these roads but other governors were busy working their roads come rain and sun shine. It is dry season again yet no tractor on site

GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN is the worst thing that have ever happened to Nigeria. Under his useless, misrable, wicked and insensitive government he:

-Gave National awards to theives and encouraged them to steal more.

- He and his fat wife stole billions of dollars through their proxies

-Militants and murderers like Tompolo and Asari Dokubo took contracts meant for the military, became stupendously wealthy, while our soldiers died in the battle field because this GEJ diverted our billions of dollars meant for our security to his cronies.

-We earned record numbers in oil sales - over $100/barrel with absolutely nothing to show for it.

My prayer is that all these people that stole our commonwealth would be handed the death sentence! It is further waste of tax payers money to put them in jail. They should be shot either in the left side of their chests or on their forehead.

This is the greatest theft since Nigeria existed. We are behind PMB in this fight, and we would not relent till these bastards are shot and our money recovered!

Nonsense! When is efcc going to invite aisha buhari to ask where she got millions to donate in adamawa when her husband claimed not to v money to buy presidential form!
When are they going to invite tinubu to ask how he got his residence at boudillion which was government property n his numerous houses and questionable deals!

Career / Re: How Much Does A Branch Manager Of An Investment Bank Earn A Month? by peleson: 7:13pm On Dec 03, 2015
tanimola22:

What do you mean by investment bank manager? Standard investment banking hierarchy--Analyst to Associate to Vice President to Director to Managing Director. Na MD you be? The rate for MD is a base of between 500K-14.75M per month. Sola David Borha, MD of Stanbic CIB, earns the least upper bound monthly wage, i.e. 14.75M, and is the highest paid MD in the Nigerian banking space, whether investment banking or commercial banking or both.

At least nobody can get me, I hope so sha. Therefore, I can open up any bottle of worms. Now, the bank you mentioned has long been broke and has been borrowing money to finance staff wages and other expenses. It seems they don't even generate sufficient operating income to cover expenses from their day-to-day operations. Don't expect anything too fantastic from them. I don't know what your potential role is, but if it's a back office support role such as accounting, IT, HR etc, then expect to get paid averagely. Whether your expectation will be surpassed is a question that only them can eventually provide an answer to.

The handsome salaries and bonuses obtainable in investment banks are actually earned by front office people. The people that do origination, leveraged finance, syndication, underwriting, etc. This does not mean that back office people work free of charge O.
