PoliticsGov Bello Exuberance Can Rob Youths Of Leadership – Kogi PDP Youth Leader by Penaldo(op): 9:02pm On Oct 31, 2016
A youth leader and the national coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party Youth Frontier, Comrade Austin Okai has described the attitude of the government of Kogi State under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello as incompetent, dishonest, dysfunctional, and a government that is built on wanton financial recklessness at a time of economic recession.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja, Comrade Okai asserted unless Yahaya Bello resorts to the virtues of prudence, accountability, and leadership rooted on integrity, the governor may end up destroying the foundation the youths of the country are laying to enable them play pivotal roles in leadership.

“Yahaya Bello is a symbol of the youths. He is perhaps the youngest governor in Nigeria. The youths have been in the fore to agitate for inclusiveness in leadership. With the level of impunity prevailing in Kogi State under Governor Bello, the chances of Nigerian Youths being seen responsible enough to hold public officers, especially elective positions is slim. That is why every Nigerian youths, irrespective of political and other social affiliations and ideologies should be worried and aid in calling their leaders to order when they are engulfed in

In a press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, the Youth leader expressed disappointment in the activities of the “youthful” Kogi State Governor in the past nine months, stating that it is capable of erecting a permanent brick- wall to the chances of youths presiding over the affairs of Kogi state and Nigeria in general.

“In Kogi State, the government seems to be spending more on propaganda and self defense that availing the people good leadership. There are more propagandists and praise-singers in the governor’s team than sound economists, planners and idea strategists. Every day, what we see is young exuberant Aids verbosely defending the governor and singing his praises amidst the glaring leadership failure in Kogi State”

Comrade Okai expressed worries over the inability of the Kogi State government to justify the over Twenty billion Naira it received as bailout fund, as well as several months of federal allocations that was paid to the state’s treasury. He also decried the endless screening of civil servants carried out by the state government, only to resort to payment of negligible percentage of salaries due to workers in the state and local government’s workforce.

Specifically, he condemned the decision of the state civil service to shortchange over 70% of pensioners, workers and teachers in the state, only to pay a fraction of what was due to the “lucky” 30%. He describes the act as fraudulent, unfortunate, and act capable of crippling the entire Kofi state civil service.

The Youth leader further stated that the State Governor, Yahaya Bello has succeeded in demobilizing the state’s chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress from pursuing the interests of state workers and pensioners, and insisting on prompt payment of their legitimate entitlement through threats and intimidation which negates both local and international labour laws.

Comrade Okai decried the sad situation of over 70% of civil workers that are yet to get reward of their struggle for over seven months and counting, and expressed disappointment in the attendant suffering of the workers and growing poverty in the state. He therefore advised Governor Bello to sit up or throw in the towel to allow a people oriented leader to preside over the affairs of the state.

Furthermore, he disagreed with the governor’s decision to keep senior civil servants in the rank of permanent secretary and director on perpetual suspension, saying that it negates the provision of civil service rules, urging the governor to have a rethink on the decision and reverse his position.

He also described the recent scarcity of water in Lokoja and it’s environs, and the state university as unfortunate, saying that it is capable of triggering breakout of epidemics and other diseases.

He expressed sadness that despite waters surrounding Kogi State and the huge flow of funds in the last eight months, the government is yet to get it right in the provision of water and other basic amenities, urging Governor Bello to justify the huge allocations he has received since assuming office, and expressed fears that the ineffectiveness of Governor Bello might be interpreted as a collective failure of the youths.

Comrade Okai further condemned frequent overseas trip by the governor and his Aides which have not brought any positive development to the state since the inception of its administration, urging the governor to sit and brace up to sane governance which the people are yearning for, instead of his maladministration in connivance with his friends, kitchen cabinet and other cabals.

He expressed fear of the failure of the youthful governor to reflect the entire image of the youths, advising the governor to redress and renege on his mal-administrative approach which has inflicted untold hardship on the people of the state

Finally, he describes the incumbent administration of Kogi state as highly ineffective that has taken the state backward by over a hundered years.

PoliticsGovernor El Rufai Arrests And Detains Lecturer Dr Dan Fulani by Penaldo(op): 11:05am On Oct 27, 2016
Dr John Danfulani Ordeal:A case of total witch hunt by witches and wizards.

"Danfulani, you know I can't hate you,we meet and shake hands always but you should understand the situation I find myself now..." After a long time of discussion, the guy had to say this,"...the truth is that I have to protect my food"

Dr John Danfulani worked for the APC government. He had gone to all words and almost all polling units in southern Kaduna,he used his personal money and all his vehicles to seeing that this government came onboard. He kept saying that he was not looking for any political appointment and he assured the electorates that he would be the first person to go against this government if peradventure she fails to deliver as promised. This is a verifiable fact.None of the undesirable elements in this government from southern Kaduna had gone more than 6 wards campaigning for this government.

True to his words,The Cattle Boy,as he is called by his well wishers, fulfilled his promise of constructively criticising this government if she fails in discharging her primary responsibility. Many were not happy with him because to them,he shouldn't have gone against his party. But the Special One,nick named because he always have a third eye to all issues, was not and is not a card carrying member of any political party.

In order to nail this man of substance, they craftily looked for loopholes against him and all they got were trivial issues.Nomater what,a storm cannot be generated in a tea cup! They said that he was not given a political appointment and that was why he was "criticising" them.Insults upon insults kept on flooding against him but as a good fighter,he keeps on keeping on.He became more strong and more focused to seeing that good governance is delivered to the masses. This issue brought to nail him did not sell to the public as JD,as popularly called by friends, kept on having sympathisers geometrically every second. He is an advocate of respecting constituted authority and at the same time,he hates killing of people for whatever reason...he hates, with passion, the killing of Shiites Muslims in Kaduna State.

As a lecturer of Kaduna State University,he performed his duty satisfactorily.I have to address this in the past because he left the University a month ago in order to stand by the masses whom he talked to during 2015 campaign. He boldly resigned after he was also trailed to the university and as a result, suspended.

And now,the fault seekers had to resolve to blackmail. He is currently alleged of "inciting" the public by a post claiming to be from him.Its laughable! The first case on the same charges set him free and I wonder what they intend to achieve by remanding him in prison until 7th of October when his bail application may be heard.Allowing him to go and come back on that same day would have been better because JD will not run away from this case.He freely took himself to the court.

Are they afraid of re-alignment?This case may be beyond politics as it seems!

#IStandWithDrJohnDanfulani

Permit me to use this medium to empathise with the family of late Barr G Kore over the lost of their father Barr G Kore last week.He was part of the train alongside Barr James Kanyip who stood behind Dr Danfulani for the success of the first court case.It rather unfortunate that he had to pass away few days to this episode. May his soul rest in peace

PoliticsThe Real Reasons Ali Modu Sheriff Wants To Destroy The PDP- DIASPORA PDP by Penaldo(op): 11:00pm On Oct 14, 2016
The Real Reasons Ali Modu Sheriff wants to Destroy the PDP
Concerned PDP Stakeholders in Diaspora have finally uncovered plans by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, Kaduna State Governor, the DG of DSS, the Chief of Staff to the President, some members of Senator Sheriff's team from the PDP in collaboration with some other key stakeholders of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) are working together to permanently destroy the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before the 2019 General Elections.
Investigation revealed that the continued leadership crisis within the PDP was all planned by his APC handlers working for the 2nd tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari. Nigerians will recall that since Senator Sheriff was removed as National Chairman of the Party at the May 21st National Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the leadership tussle in the Party has continued unabated.
This APC group have positioned Senator Sheriff to remain as a road block in the PDP till 2019, and the more the PDP leadership crisis continued, the better for President Buhari in his bid to clinch the 2019 ticket under less opposition.
The recent outburst by the First Lady, Aisha Buhari who berated her husband of abandoning those who worked for his election and accusing some people in the APC of hijacking the government is the height of the activities of these individuals who are also working with Senator Sheriff, Senator Kashamu Buruji and other money bags across the country.
It was also revealed that most PDP cases filed by Senator Sheriff's group are referred to Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court (FHC), Abuja, to handle because he, Justice Abang has been positioned by this APC Group to do their dirty job.
The general public will recall that any Court Cases involving Senator Sheriff and the PDP or any associates of the former Chairman of the PDP is always handed over to Justice Okon Abang for prosecution.
It was again revealed that before the intervention of the former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR to mediate in the crisis, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and his APC collaborators already concluded plans to use the same Justice Okon Abang to replace Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the PDP Candidate in Edo State with Senator Sheriff's Candidate, Hon. Mathew Iduoriyekemwen at the dying minute, before the election in order not to allow enough time for replacement of Candidate. The APC, Justice Abang and Senator Ali Modu Sheriff is at it again in Ondo State with the Friday, October 14, 2016 ruling of Justice Abang directing INEC to relate with Jimoh Ibrahim, Sheriff's candidate who has officially decamped to Accord Party in Ondo State.
Nigerians must rise again in defense of democracy with one voice as we did in the ongoing rumpus between the DSS and the Judiciary and vehemently challenge this unholy activities of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and his APC collaborators which is aimed at destabilizing our nascent democracy.
Finally, we want to demand the immediate expulsion of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and his co-travelers from the PDP. We also demand that the National Judicial Council (NJC) to urgently investigate and discipline Justice Okon Abang whose controversial judgment in recent past has brought a lot of disrepute to the Nigerian Judiciary.

PoliticsThe Vestiges Of Kaduna Mafia Must Not Kill Aisha Buhari by Penaldo(op): 10:44pm On Oct 14, 2016
Yesterday, Hajo Sani made preparations to leave Nigeria by British Airways to underscore her undue supervisory role over Aisha and be the chaperon again! She wasn't with Aisha when she gave the BBC interview, she's scrambling to go to London before Aisha proceeds to Brussels and say more stuff. They are angry as hell and are smarting from the exposé. Unfortunately for them, they cannot prevent BBC from airing the remaining part of the interview tomorrow and we are waiting with bated breath to hear it and to read it.

Buhari is a thorough Northern conservative who loves his wife. His winning the election changed all that as power mongers encircled him and stifled his wife. Aisha must have had it up to her neck and totally exasperated before she spilled it all out in London. My sources told me the influence of Hajo dates back to when Buhari married Aisha. Hajo was like the supervisory guide her. After she grew and carved her own niche and the husband won the presidency, the cabal engineered Hajo as her SA to cage her. There is no love lost between them. Hajo at about 10 years older is very overbearing. They hate each other like satan and Angel Michael - bare knuckle hatred. Hajo was a minister under Abacha. Like people with her kind of mold, she hugs power like bodysuit. The BBC interview was not a mistake. She has been totally encircled an alienated from her husband with Hajo usurping her role. She had to spill her frustrations and prod her husband to leave a legacy.

How does this concern you and I? The same poweful forces who emasculated Yar'Ardua are back in business. Kingibe is back! Imagine! Hajo sanni, Gen monguno NSA, Abba kyari and the big Cahuna - Mamman Daura. One of my sources this morning told me; "there is nothing human about Mamman Daura. He is evil. He does not talk. Nigeria cannot progress if he is alive and near Buhari." I was shaken!

Who is Mamman Daura? Why is he very powerful? Mamman Daura is one of the vestigial remains of the Kaduna Mafia. A dying breed whose grip on power receded after the death of Abacha. The origins of the Kaduna mafia revolves around the demise of the first republic. The loss of many Northern leaders in the 1966 coup prodded a group of Northern civil servants to rally around and oppose the new government of General Aguiyi Ironsi. The group, a diverse mixture of aristocrats and civil servants were predominantly Muslim and based in Kaduna. Many of its members were educated at the famous Barewa College in Zaria, and had demonstrated a certain level of managerial competence in comparison to some of their older contemporaries. They were known for their intelligence, commitment to the traditional values and socio-political interests of Northern Nigeria. Members were involved in varied aspects of the Nigerian nation, they were bank directors, ministers, military colonels and owners of business; their main differentiating symbol was the prominence of economic interest as a driving factor in their activities. The group thrived on an elaborate network of power alliances among northern aristocrats and government sympathizers who favored the groups pro-northern and Islamic bent. Famous members and allies includes Adamu Ciroma, Mamman Daura, Ibrahim Tahir, Mahmud Tukur, Gen.Shehu Musa Yar'Adua and Muhammadu Buhari. Unfortunately, as time revealed, they all departed from the ideals championed by Sir Ahmadu Bello. They looked after themselves and cared less about the people they had planned to protect. It was all about power. By the 1980's Buhari took a nationalistic view with a mission to restore values and put Nigeria straight. He did not hesitate to jail anyone from anywhere. His reputation as a patriot and lover of Nigeria as an indivisible entity emanated from there. He burnished his credentials by decisively destroying the Maitatsine sect and putting Islamic extremism out of the North until Babagida happened to us.

Can Buhari be trusted to take the necessary step to retrieve Nigeria from the grip of his uncle - Mamman Daura? I am not sure. He once withdrew Mamman Daura's aides, revoked his security and instructed them not to allow him into Aso Rock. Somehow, Mamman Daura found his way back and became more virulent. A grip on Buhari by Daura is a grip on Nigeria. Can Buhari be trusted to do the needful? I don't think so.

We must help him. He is helpless and totally caged! He cannot transcend the old order. His wife is way ahead of him on this and she wants her husband's name in gold. The BBC interview is a cry for help. For Aisha to take that step in a conservative Islamic family is an unusual step. To do it in London is very telling. It is a very bold, courageous and calculated step. I respect her courage. This morning, my sources fear for her life in the hands of this cabal. We must let them know that Aisha must not be silenced. She must not be killed. Those around Buhari are great power mongers with careless disregard for Nigeria. Just power for its own sake. Power that has not translated into anything for the teeming Northern youths and Nigerians in general.

My friends, let us galvanise the social media against Mamman Daura and his thieving factotum - Abba Kyari. Let us draw international attention to them and pressure them out of Aso Rock. "We Are Ready" campaign for the 2019 elections. We must remove them from power. Please share this update. #Aisha

LIVING AND LIFTED BY GRACE

“What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness” ROMANS 6:15-16 AMP

We are looking at the same scripture we studied yesterday. If through this devotional I fulfill this hunger in me to help you learn to receive the grace of God, then both of us should see a practical, positive result in our lives. That result is that we get holier and holier and holier. Grace is not just an excuse to stay the way we are, claiming that we do not have to do anything about ourselves and our lives because we are not under the Law but under grace. That is the mistake the early believers were making. That is why Paul had to rebuke them and correct their thinking.
Yes, God’s grace will keep us from condemnation even though we sin. God's grace does keep our names written in the Lamb's Book of Life even though we are not perfect. God's grace does save us, declare us righteous in His sight, assure us His blessings and a home in Heaven, carry us through this life and give us peace of mind and heart and many other wonderful things. But God's grace does more than all of that, it also teaches us to live as God intends for us to live - which is in holiness. God's grace is given to us to do more than give us the power to live, it is also given to us to lift us out of sin. The grace of God lifts us from sin and helps us live in holiness.
It is dangerous to see only one side of an issue, because that leads to an unbalanced perspective. That is why some ministers will not preach on grace, because they are afraid that people will use it as an excuse to sin, to stay as they are and lead sloppy, undisciplined lives.
But I have a little different perspective on grace. I believe that if no one ever preaches and teaches grace, then believers will never be able to receive the power they need to rise above their sins and overcome their problems. I am convinced that most Christians are not looking for an excuse to sin, but for the power to live holy lives. That power is in the Holy Spirit, you need to be sincere with yourself and truthful to God. Stop hiding stuffs, stop excusing stuffs, stop searching for explanations that can give you tough skin, stop pampering what you should kill. Don’t let what should die live, the Holy Spirit is still changing lives. It is possible to be holy. Come out of guilt, you are forgiven, rely on the Holy Spirit, He is your helper. Stop sounding ok with sin, yes you know there is death in that pot. Be healed in Jesus name. May holy hatred against sin be planted in your heart today in Jesus name. Stop tolerating it, rebuke the spirit and live in freedom. Have a blessed day!
APOSTLE’S DECREE: Receive the power of the Holy Ghost.
PRAYER: Because I have the power of the Holy Spirit, I am living a life of the supernatural in Jesus name.

RomanceSIX Reasons Why People In Extremely Loving Relationship Cheats by Penaldo(op): 12:49pm On Oct 10, 2016
1. BECAUSE IT’S FUN: If you don’t have the means to go sky-diving, you may end up cheating on your partner. A happy relationship can sometimes become monotonous. Happy doesn’t equate to boring, but the line starts to get blurry when you stay with someone long enough without anything new happening.

2. BECAUSE SOMETIMES ITS BETTER THAN GREAT S3X: People have different tastes when it comes to s*x, but those interests are rarely realized in committed relationships. Extreme fetishes are less likely to surface when two people are completely happy with the way things are going in their relationship. Happy people will cheat to try new things, but it doesn’t mean that they want to get rid of their current relationship.

3. NEW ROMANCE: Yes, happy relationships are still brimming with romance. But if someone comes along and makes you feel hotter and more passionate than the way you do with your current partner, cheating suddenly becomes an option.

4. BECAUSE THEY MIGHT NOT GET CAUGHT: No matter how happy a person is, when the opportunity presents itself to cheat without any repercussions, it’s possible that they will go for it. If the person cheating is someone who does not put too much value on their morality, their illicit activities won’t give them any problems as long as they’re absolutely sure that they won’t get caught.

5. THE EX CAME INTO THE EQUATION: You’re right in being apprehensive about a partner spending time with their ex. An inappropriate level of frequency and context of meetings could likely end up in an affair, because they have history, are both adults with raging hormones and can resolve themselves to the fact that it can happen because they’ve done it before.

6. SOMETIMES, CHEATING PARENTS: As much as we want to believe that we won’t make the same mistakes our parents made, it always seems to overtake our common sense in the end. Conditioning has shown us that it’s a possible scenario, and the certain steps taken to prevent what your parents did aren’t enough to actually avoid doing it.

Fast rising NPFL side and first African partner of West Ham United FC of England, FC Ifeanyi Ubah will this week host their London-based partners, West Ham United FC in Lagos and Nnewi in a bid to take the partnership between both football clubs to the next level.

Top executives at West Ham United led by the Managing Director, Angus Kinnear and President of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah will on Wednesday unveil the blueprint that will guide the hunt for the next Nigerian superstar. The project which aims to identify talented kids between the ages of 6 - 15 years will kick off in December with coaches and scouts of West Ham United in regular attendance to offer technical support throughout the duration of the project. Selected kids will be enrolled into Ifeanyi Ubah football academy with the aim of harnessing their talents, thus providing West Ham United with a pool of talented players to pick from on a quarterly basis.

Recall that FC Ifeanyi Ubah recently signed a long term partnership with West Ham United back in August that will see the two football clubs join forces on a number of football-related projects led by FC Ifeanyi Ubah, from best-practice coaching initiatives to establishing grass roots football programmes in Nigeria, all with a view to improving the standard of football across the region.

Speaking to newsmen at the weekend in Lagos, Dr. Ubah explained the aim of the 'Talent Hunt Programme' and how that will metamorphose to a football Academy run by both West Ham United FC and FC Ifeanyi Ubah. "Our discussions since the unveiling of this historic partnership has always been centred on football development, with the discovery of future football stars in a country so rich in football talents waiting to be harnessed top on the priority list. West Ham are known to have one of the best academies in the world having produced players like Sir Trevor Brooking, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick to mention a few and they are eager to identify and handpick talented African players that they can develop. The search for the next Lampard, Payet, Kanu and Okocha just begun and we believe this talent hunt will help us achieve our goal".

Dr. Ubah further revealed that many more details on the next level of the collaboration between FC Ifeanyi Ubah and West Ham FC will be unveiled during the week in Lagos when executives from the London Club will be entertaining questions at a press Conference in Lagos at Eko Signature, VI by 3pm. There will also be a dinner in honour of the contingent from West Ham by 6PM on Wednesday at the same venue where major football stakeholders and personalities will be in attendance after which they will be heading to Nnewi, Anambra state on Thursday for another press conference at Ifeanyi Ubah Games Village by 1:45pm. Their visit will end with an appearance on "Naija made" by 7:30 PM on Supersport9 where they will be discussing in details, the benefits of West Ham's deal with Capital Oil and Gas and FC Ifeanyi Ubah as well as the blueprint and goal of the talent hunt
