lagerwhenindoubt:Nigerians have been agitating for this bill in order to checkmate corruption. That is the essence. The speaker and his men have already set out to undermine a law that has not been passed. The implication of what Bankole said is that they are free to loot provided they remember to tag certain files inaccessible to the public. Bankole is a disappointment. The Nigerian elite and academia had such high hopes for the young man |
It appears we have another Aondoakaa in Adoke |
What's your gender. |
^^^ One is coming. So u have to hurry up your exit!! |
King Abdallah of KSA will be having a good laugh (at Ghadafi's predicament). They are both sworn enemies with frequent open altercations |
johnterry2:Some of us always had our suspicion abt this individual. None of the pics (2or 3 of them) look alike. I wonder who these victims are. I hope too that amefi London is reading all these. In the mean time lets notify mobinga and his group about developments. |
Unless the girl in question is emotionally immature or retarded, I dont see what a 30yr old is capable of doing that a 22yr old girl cannot do. |
amefi:Of course I admire Odunnu, like I admire all the babes on NL. Nothing hidden. So? amefi:Oh. I see u are intimidated already. Dont be. We can be friends if u act politely. Good luck in quest. |
The rascal has runaway. Fool. This is internet age. If ur pant is itching u, U dont need to be a public nuisance anymore. Having said that these are matters of the heart. Odunnu should speak for herself. She may like the foool afterall |
^^^ Who? Amefi? That's exactly what he needs. Your attention as well as a few of your homies |
Maybe if u showed a bit of common sense and class odunnu just might be interested. In the mean time stop acting stoopid. Its not being funny |
amefi:No I am not. I just hate to see nonetities like you pollute cyberspace and embarrass a decent girl at the same time |
OP What are your credentials? Odunnu is not the average girl |
I have heard of cases where women with dubious fidelity try to gain a husband's confidence by maligning the reputation of an innocent person to suit their imaginary design while keeping a sugar boy some where. Only a stupid husband will accept a story like this as true without some kind of investigation. |
heryyy:What I find odd about this story aside from your uncle being a federal commissioner in Nigeria in 2011 is that a guy who has enough dough to hire a Lagos 5star hotel room for an afternoon tryst will and cannot be offering 20k to sign on a babe. More like 200k. That will be a real temptation and I hope your wife would have told u. Are u sure u did not go asking this your Uncle for help in feeding your family b/c things are difficult in London (not that this is an excuse for what he did but it becomes a mitigating factor)? |
I had no idea these folks charge so much but what the hell for? I will pay that much to keep so-called artists away from me |
What a brain, what a waste. Sometimes I think if man has a life span of say 200yrs we would have since colonized mars and the outer reaches of the solar system |
This Brig Hassan has shown bias and ineptitude in handling the Jos conflict. He should be kicked out with assignment given to another northern officer. His inefficiency will push this country into a bigger conflict with huge loss of lives |

^^^ E reach to ask. Even if C.C Onoh was the only one from Enugu who held public office during the first republic |
We, (Feminist Movement) trying to antagonize the men and you are not helping us!
When you are done antagonizing, remember to go home to dadda |
Yes, Pennywise is a counselor.
Dont tell me you are getting bored with me already. Like all these people who come to NL and say all the right boring things. Damn. newhaven:Every woman should know the man she married otherwise what she thinks is a logical move might be a big mistake afterall Oh! And the gfs too (are lucky) |
That why I SAID MARRIAGE OFFERS no protection whatsoever. You make it the best of the marriage and discard the rest.
I disagree. My wife has comprehensive protection. |
Pennywise what i,m saying is nobody knows their future for sure. Of course we can all hope our futures will be bright but there`s no actual guarantee of that. The grandson of paul getty recently committed suicide and he`s one of the richest heirs you can name. Of course anybody can get divorced at anytime but sometimes its better to face your own situation instead of spending too much time wailing over the misfortunes of others. The woman who is starting over at 51 is a sad situation no doubt but not unique. Anybody could find themselves broke and needing assistance at any point in time. Thats why they say money has wings.
'The Golden hippie' died of natural causes. He was paralyzed from neck down. The op started this thread from the point of view of a woman giving all she has for a marriage and then getting shortganged by the husband (and presumably inlaws) and not from unpredictable misfortune which can happen in the best of marriages |
obowunmi:True we are all trying to get ahead. But you will be appalled at the kind of upbringing that some of us young men had. Many have no sense of duty/responsibility. They will lie when there is no need to, steal, cheat (discount sleeping with other babe), selfish, inconsiderate again no shame/no scrupples. If an individual like this calls the shots in a family unit what kind of life do you think the wife will have? |
^^^ So its no use getting out of an inferno b/c the world is already engulfed in flames. That is exactly what keeps women forever in bondage. In the US If they dont kill themselves they kill their husband or their children. Here they just die inwardly |
The men who wants to control the women would tell the women not to work. Its make perfectly sense. If a woman stay home then he has control over finances and other things. I made sure I was able to support myself before I got married. Marriage does not offer protection and MARRIAGE doesn't change anything. You are doing the same things that you was doing before marriage and the only thing different it is legal.
Sometimes its not just about domination. Sometimes its about pure envy of the woman's progress-as incredible as this sound, it is sooo true. I have seen. Marriage is nothing more than a contract. If you find that it is no longer favorable review it and if necessary terminate it. The world is full of a lot of good men. You also have some that are lazy, without shame and without scrupple. |

If I know our legislators well, everything under the sun will be classified as Non-Disclosable for Public Consumption due to the sensitive nature and maybe something like National Security. I hope Police records can be made public cos we still do not know who Bomb the Abuja Independence event
Lol!!!!
