PoliticsRe: Nigeria Senators Squabble Over Call For Saraki’s Resignation by PenSniper: 9:57pm On Feb 07, 2016
Does this misfit senator called Dino Melaye have brains? If not, how could he say that the CCB case against Saraki is not about the accused but about the senate? I shudder for this country if this are the kind of people we call honourable senators. Honourable indeed.

Nigerian snakes embezzling like corrupt Nigerian politicians.
Like ABS - Abubakar Bukonla Saraki. He embezzles like a dog - eat all and lick the plate thus leaving nothing for others, e. g. Societe Generale Bank and Kwara State.
PoliticsRe: Obahiagbon Comments On Obasanjo Greeting Ooni Of Ife by PenSniper: 8:37pm On Feb 06, 2016
Honestly, i have never liked OBJ for anything. His first coming was a disaster while his second was a write-off as far as am concerned.
But i must confess that he warmed himself into my heart with what he did here. But then he is a traditional man to the core.
I foresee this Ooni's tenure to be about the
best for the yoruba race after Oba Adesoji Aderemi.
Long live Ooni.

[quote author=tnthommie post=42673471]I never knew the Ooni of Ife was so powerful until this present Ooni was crowned. The calibre of people coming to pay homage to him is great. Even Obasanjo prostrates before him. Wonderful.

Wish him longlife and a fruitful reign..[/qu

PoliticsRe: Step Aside Now, Lawan Group Tells Saraki by PenSniper: 5:08pm On Feb 06, 2016
adeaks:
Their logic is faulty. If we agree that a man who is facing criminal allegations cannot lead the senate, then we are opening the doors for the executive to control the leadership of the senate.

In as much as the criminal prosecution power is in the hands of the executive, it means any government that doesn't like a particular
senate president or House of rep speaker only has to institute a case against him, no matter how frivolous and the person accused would have to resign. That
doesn't make sense.

Saraki is innocent until proven guilty. If he is convicted then he has to go, but not
otherwise
You reason like those of the jungle and, inspite of it all, Nigeria is not animal farm.

If you are dumbfounded by the unanimous response of the YORUBAMEN above me, always remember that the epitome off being YORUBA is reflecting our VALUES...... that's why the term OMOLUABI means more to us than a 1000 variations off Ezego titles !

These guys above made my day- may all

Somebody Nigerian by now should know has very strong imprint on Nigeria is OBJ. I know Saraki will go down the moment OBJ wrote him a letter.

My theory is that OBJ belongs to a club of initiated few who decide the future of this country. He knew what the decision was before this judgement was officially passed. it's like someone that has been killed but he is still physically walking around.
You are right. And to make matters worse for him, Saraki had the effontery to reply OBJ telling him to rather stop the blame game. The moment i read his response i knew he had shot himself in the foot.

It further shows how twisted and confused they are. They want to break away from Nigeria and at the same time they want ''their son'' to retain the position of the Deputy Senate President of Nigeria
Thats the way of criminals for you - they always want to eat their cake and have it back again.

Esau stop praying dreams to live, after saying selling your birth right you now want it,right?

Cain, its gone beyond a shouting match. You may keep on swimming in delusional grandeur, that's your business. But like your progenitor, Cain, you are going to be banished by subtilty or by force, whichever circumstances or expediency makes necessary.

WHERE WAS THE SUPERIOR WISDOM WHEN THE IGBOS STARTING MOBBING-UP LAGOS PROPERTY?
Crying, weeping and sorrow belong to fools who think they are clever by half, whatever you mean by "mobbing-up".
A time will come when some would want to hastily sell property even at give-away prices but will find no buyers.
Governments reserve the right to revoke even CoOs if it gets to that but that won't be necessary. A war of attrition between the brawn and the brain has been unleached.
Everywhere all over the world, illegal immigrants always live to regret their morbid acquisition. Those who fail to learn from history live repeat its sordid part.

Stop confusing yourself from alternate perspective. You just corroborated what I opined.

Read the constitution to understand land tenure system before debating out of context.

Is there any C of O from the Government for your communal land?

Now, the question is, do we have tribal or a secular State belonging to one particular ethnicity in Nigeria?

In Nigeria, the State belongs to its citizens and not to tribes-people, be them Yoruba, Tiv, Igbo, Fulani or Ijaw.

There is nothing like Yoruba land in Nigeria and can never be until the
constitution is amended to accommodate such obnoxious definition.
Nwanem, why did you decide to send your thinking cap on errand before writing?.

His brains have been saturated so much with hate speech that his thinking has become warped. What a pitiable caricature of a proud fellow!
