Rev. Morka of Lords chosen should be watched carefully. His members are brainwashed like Rev. King members. Rev. Morka has used superior power to jail the woman that exposed his fake miracles. You got a good point there. Their members portray the image of people in bondage and under spell. One doesn't see the glory of God in their outlook. |

Truly, It is a bad idea to be locked up in a jail. It breaks even the strongest of men. Plus, our our prisons are appalling. "Eniti Sango ba toju e wole koni ba won bu obakoso". |

This is obviously a product of rash judgment emanating from impatience and mischief. This government is still three months away from its first out of four years. It met the country in a parlour state. Previous governments have systematically bled the country to stupor. The last government got so reckless and desperate it dwindled our foreign reserves and brazenly spent dollars like the local currency. To make matters worse, the price of crude plumetted and made nonsense of the budget. Yet someone could get up to write this gibberish. Is the person from Mars or Neptune ? |

Politics › Re: Why Did EFCC Refuse To Investigate The Following People? by PenSniper: 12:08pm On Feb 25, 2016 |
mauriceju2: Why did Buahri EFCC refused to investigate the following people at least to charge the people who alleged them as liar for perjury? Politicians that should be charged for corruption.
Atiku Abubakar: Reputed to have fleeced the economy of billions in the privatization exercise. His former boss OBJ has consistently told Nigerians that Atiku is "Olee". Today, Atiku remains the presidents right hand man. His stealing has been written-off at the expense of poor Nigerian masses.
Rotimi Amaechi: The Rivers Stage investigation panel confirmed that Rotimi Amaechi stole over N84 Billion from the state treasury. The case was reported to EFCC, but Buahri EFCC refused to investigate at least to charge the people who alleged as liar for perjury. Yet Buhari is making corrupt Amaechi his minister.
Chief Obong Attah: This former Akwa-Ibom governor was accused of fleecing the State to the tune of $5.3 Billion paid to ECONET for which the UK government has declared him wanted. Additionally, the case of over N200M paid for non-existent air port is still largely not investigated. Obong Attah has found a friend in Buhari and as such not longer a thief.
Abacha and family: Buhari served under Abacha regime as Chair of the Petroleum Trust Fund (EFT). This fund was reputed to have "helped"many Buhari friends to loot the Nigerian economy. Though, Buahri has not been directly indicted Abacha family have. In the latest World bank report on Abacha loot, it was reported that the amount was 'too much' for them to trace. Yet Buahri told us that Abacha was not corrupt".
Timipriye Sylva: The former Bayelsa governor who now want to return to state house was accused and being tried for stealing a whooping N22Billion from the state. The case was on by EFCC before Buhari was sworn in as the president. Thereafter, the cases were abandoned by EFCC and Sylva is now running for governorship under Buhari's apc. As a friend of Buhari and member of Buhari's transition team, Sylva theft were written-off. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/184918-efcc-files-fresh-corruption-case-against-ex-governor-sylva.html
Abubakar Audu: Abubakar Audu's case of stealing N11 Billion from one of the poorest states in Nigeria is a pathetic story. No one knows the state of the case as of today. The funny twist to this case was that the State apc chairman told the people of Kogi to re-elect Audu Abubakar so that he can "return" the N11Billion stolen from them. Audu Abubakar as apc flag bearer in Kogi State remains Buhari's friend. Who is fooling who?
Malam El-Rufai: The governor if Kaduna State was formerly Federal Capital Territory minister under PDP. El- Rufai was alleged to have allocated plots to himself and his wives and concubines and even female lover (corp member) was being paid N1million per month as allowance. latest was the N5Billion paid to his company for consultancy service to CBN under Sanusi for no work done. All these were not probed by Buhari, yet story has it that El-Rufai is infact the defacto Vice President of Nigeria. A friend of Buhari is no longer corrupt.
Babatunde Fashola: The case against Fashola is know in public domain. He was reputed to have constructed a personal website with N78 Million in addition to having dug some two boreholes with N300 millions. Babatunde Fashola is a friend of Buhari and now a minister of Buhari's corruption fighting government. What an irony.
Fayemi: Amongst other corruption issues and plunging Ekiti state into an eternal debt, Fayemi was accused of making a bed for N40 million. All calls for EFCC to investigate this act of corruption was glossed over because Fayemi was the "organizer" of Buhari's winning primaries. He is now being appointed as a minister of FGN.
When men like this are moving freely with their agbadas raising, what is corruption fight all about then? Answer: Because those who run the EFCC are not as daft, ritualistic and hypocritical as the rabid wailers and don't have to do what is unnecessary just to make jobless wailers happy. After all, they are aware of the likes of Stella Oduah, Orjk Uzoh Kali, Okorocha, ex-gov of Imo, Oji, Ikweremadu, etc, so they pretend they don't exist just to balance the equation. |

This is not about tribal supremacy battle but the igbo race has no record of been great beyond the shores of Nigeria, they are relatively a very small tribe. Yoruba race extends to Benin,Togo, Cuba and even Brazil.[/q uote]
Yes, you are quite correct. All, and I mean all, Jamaicans I interacted with in Manchester traced their descent to Ghana and always easily felt at home with Ghanaians. Talking about the Yoruba in diaspora, they practise the same traditions as and even invite representative on as from yorubaland to their annual festivals in Brazil and Benin. Akaka music is even now more popular in Benin than in yorubaland. Bless you bro. |

sweetgala: The Oba of Benin is general does not leave his palace, by tradition he has to live and die within the confines if his kingdom. There have been few occasions where the King has left the palace.
It is a serious form of bondage.
On another note I have been trying to find out about what caught my eye when viewing pictures from the new young king in Delta, I saw behind his throne an insignia which has strong corolations with Yoruba and Bini royal heritage and would usually be used to signify the source of the authority of a throne, the King had the "Ida" - sword as is often seen with the Ife kingdom, Bini kingdom and Eko kingdom in particular. Thank you. But why must a king be barred from free movement If not for extra-corriculum additions to make the throne look different from what it used to be perhaps for mischief-making ? In a photo of Yoruba kings with his royal majesty's representative in Nigeria in Ile Ife in 1937, the then oba of benin was present. What changed that tradition of freedom of movement into enslavement in his place/kingdom ? |

oluwaahmed: But ow can 1 rank d Ooni of ife ova d oba of beni? Is it dt dat oba does not knw his own history? Oduduwa was a son of d oba of beni,he den found his. Way 2 yoruba land & on reachin der he was immediately crowned king, because der was a prophesy dat a king will cme out 4rm a particular locatn thru a bush & thus did oduduwa. His children founded d states of d present yoruba kingdom. So Ooni of ife is a son 2 d oba of beni. Go and read ur history. You are very wrong or may have been reading a wrong story. An errant son of Oduduwa left Ile ife and became king of Benin. He grew disillusioned by the attitude of his subjects, abdicated the throne in annoyance/frustration, installed his son as king, and returned to Ile ife. Getting to Ile ife, he discovered his father had died. But rather than ascend his father's throne, he installed the spiritual aid to his dad and wandered off but not before leaving instructions in Benin and Ice that whenever he died, his body must be buried in his ancestral home of Ile Ife. Since then, all Benin obas were buried in Ile Ife until recently and no one ascended the Benin throne without going through some rituals in Ile Ife. |
