olapluto: I am very very certain that we will have plenty high profile prisoners before this year runs out. Metuh for sure is jail bound. Badeh is jail bound, Dasuki is jailbound, now Ihejirika....
I expect some 'groups' to rise up to defend Ihejirika though. You mean brainless and shameless groups? Yes, they might. They might even threaten to go to war. They send their brains on errand before they do anything. |

MrKong: Shiites are liars...and lying (no matter the situation or course) is un-Islamic
Their founding fathers were masters of deception and propaganda Never trust them, Never believe them Another lie. Living is part and parcel of Islam. Muslims are encouraged to deceive "unbelivers" in order to achieve their own course. So Shiite or Sunni, all are the same in the game of deception. |

Liberty90: Yorubas as usual. See as him add Hope to his name...we all know yorubas don't have formal English first name. Have you ever seen a yoruba man named Augustine Oluleye? Cosmas Olaolu? Marcus Oluremi? Pius Adeoba? Lol...if I came across one, immediately I'll know he is phony. Though yorubas have more of English surnames;Funsho Williams and co but not first names. For one thing, what pride have those who boast of having English first names when they are generally known for the worst crimes all over the world, especially crimes that terminate people's lives. For another, your knowledge of the Yoruba vis-a-vis names is very poor. |

Politics › Re: Falae’s Kidnap: Fulani Group Sends Final Warning To Fani-kayode by PenSniper: 12:08pm On Nov 05, 2015 |
Rawani: Femi Fani Kayode is reputed for his elastic tongue, unprincipled stance and immature, poorly thought out outbursts such as those made regarding Bianca Ojukwu and the other women that had the misfortune of being intimately linked with him at some point or the other. His penchant for sucking in the vomit he utters, came to a climax with his twilight support for the PDP after consistently rubbishing them severally in the past.
However FFK's recent vituperations against the entire Fulani race are not his usual uncoordinated diatribes. His insistence on attacking the entire Fulani people because of the activities of a few soulless, bloody, and murderous criminals appears to be by design, and co-ordinated with other elemen ts and groups that are strongly opposed to the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as President such as Afenifere, Chief Falae, and some disgruntled elements East of the Niger.
The activities of the murderous blood sucking Fulani herdsmen are barbaric, criminal and downright condemnable. The lives that have been needlessly lost and families traumatized is more than enough reason for Government to tackle the menace immediately and headlong and I admonish the authorities to take prompt action.
However it must by emphasized that it is completely illogical to paint the entire Fulani race which have produced the likes of Aliko Dangote, Jelani Aliyu (inventor), BUA etc., who have contributed greatly to the Nigerian economy and attracted accolades to her, with the murderous activities of a few criminal nomadic herdsmen (P.S not all Fulani's are nomadic culturally and historically). This is akin to demonizing other tribes because of the activities of a few kidnappers, ritualists and baby factory operators. It is a travesty of common sense and it is clearly politically motivated.
At this time of national recovery, such careless statements by FFK are retrogressive, provocative and reek of political sabotage, which will not be tolerated any further. It is hoped that the wiser ones around him will admonish him to take caution and warn him to desist from channeling his political frustrations towards the Fulani people. Trash and arrant nonsense from a demented soul. The fulani herdsmen' activities have been with us for years and none of the so-called fulani leaders ever condemned them or took action to put an end to it. Silence means acquiescence. Reign in your hordes or action will be taken against them. Your threat on legal action is empty noise. SW is not MB that takes nonsense. For your information, FFK is the spokesman of many southerners on this issue.. |

We see Fulani herdsmen walking freely with military grade AK 47 riffles and security agencies look the other way.
There, is the clincher. That is what gets me pissed off this one nigeria bumkum.
Different strokes for different people. We ain't got the pedigree to make Nigeria work. Common people in the south should be heckling their leaders for separation, or at best, confederation or full regionalism. Either of these or war. Am getting scared of leaving my future generations in this hell-hole called, Nigeria.
[quote author=EUROBOMBER po
st=39701042]@Rawani, while you are right in saying that an entire tribe should not be demonised because of the activities of some of its people, the Fulani case is of particular concern to us in this country. Describing Fulani attacks as those of 'criminals' would be to grossly understate the obvious.
The Fulani have been carrying out massive and coordinated attacks against the people of the MB such that if the trend continues, it is a question of when not how they would eventually exterminate the people of the MB and occupy their lands. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step as it popularly said. FFK is doing his best to draw the attention of Southern Nigeria to the activities of the Fulani, you may say that these little attacks here and there in the south were carried out by some Fulani 'criminals' but I beg to differ.
Fulani people destroy farmlands at will both in the west and the east; they rape women and kill at will. Do you expect us to keep quiet until your people begin to carry out massive and coordinated attacks like is currently going on in the MB? Never!! Are the Fulanis a special group of Nigerians? We see Fulani herdsmen walking freely with military grade AK 47 riffles and security agencies look the other way. If say an Igbo or Yoruba man is seen even at night with a locally made pistol he is arrested immediately and might spend the rest of his life in prison. Why is it that the Fulanis can brandish riffles in broad daylight but other Nigerians cannot?
I have also noticed that the herdsmen have become more daring in their campaign of violence since Buhari became president. More astonishing is the fact that Buhari has not made any comments about this fulani attacks here and there. Will Buhari claim not to know what these so-called herdsmen have been doing all over the country?

Oodua people - always pace-setters.
Proudly Yoruba.
Its worrisome when i think of the main source of many essential farm products available in our markets. Perhaps we should prevail on our governments to embark on mechanised farming to boost supply from the SW.
Would it be asking too much to suggest that all SW states are linked by a fast rail system? - mass movement of people and goods. - cheaper transportation. - less strain on our roads through decongestion thus elongating their lifespan. - reduction in road accidents. - among others. |
