Atlantian: I havent read the book, so I do not know the context of the material and its targeted audience. If the principles within the bookl is meant for a macrocosmic audience, then the book needs a worldwide audience, so printing and especially distributorship by a Nigerian company will not capture that audience. You might want to argue that the context is Nigerian, but there are several millions of Nigerians in Diaspora.
Ben Bruce has been the ONLY voice of hope in this heat-permeating, electrically-inefficient, politically-myopic, economically-recessing contraption. When an IPOB write about Nigeria, you don't need to guess. The hate they have for Nigeria is profound. |
Politics › Re: What Is The Contribution Of SOUTH EAST state To Fg Revenue? by PentiumPro(f): 1:30pm On Feb 24, 2016 |
ultron: Now to topic.
Truth, looking at Nigeria's source of income. The South East is not a major contributor. But Igbos don't claim SE provides much. Op lied on that one. . . Now let me answer it this way. . NE,NC,NW(RESOURCES)- LOW PEOPLE(Human Index)- LOW . . SW- GOOD (Due to Lagos and recently Ogun) PEOPLE(Human Index)- LOW . . SE- LOW PEOPLE(Human Index)- HIGH . . SS- HIGH PEOPLE(Human Index)- LOW . . That's just a summary. OP I hope you're better informed now. Don't be a tribalist: It stunts your growth mentally.
PS-Op,in SW(Lagos) apart from multinationals the Igbos drive the economy of Lagos. The Insurance companies in Lagos. The Transport business of intra-city transportation The petrol stationsThese three businesses ALONE that are VIRTUALLY in the hands of the yorubas in Lagos contribute more than all that Igbos contributes daily to Lagos businesses and commerce. Stop you people that don't live in Lagos should stop this your falsehood you peddle daily on Nairaland. |

plaetton: Pure bullshyte.
It was simply demand and supply economics. The drop was to steep, too fast, hence the anticipated near term correction or dead cat bounce, as it is called.
Based on visible economic fundamentals, and a government that has NO clear economic policy or vision going forward, the Naira should continue it's free fall down to 500 in the next two months and 600 by year end.
Do not forget that this government is going into debt, foreign denominated debt, to fund a bloated budget that is guaranteed to do nothing to stimulate the economy.
Currencies are usually defended with foriegn reserves or gold, not by mouth.
There are no Hail Marys in economics. Mr ITK, Now that you are happy, let see how far you and your household are immune from the effect of a crashing Niara. |
