Let me ask you this question. Were you asked to legalize your police character and birth certificate... if your answer is yes... it means marriage certificate must be legalized too before your visa application

Like i said before, the process has really changed. All the documents were not legalized during visa application. she only legalized them when the visa was approved because it will be needed at the policia federal in Brasil to process her RNE... police character birth certificate and our marriage were legalized at the Brazilian embassy and the embassy send them to Brasil directly with Fedex envelope she submitted

I used the process in the year 2023.... I know the procedure would have been changed by now.

has she gotten her PR? if yes, all you need from her is family reunion letter legalized at cartório

I think the answer should be YES...

and all the documents must be legalized before you can even applied for the student visa..

Legalization... Legalize at Ministry of Education and foreign affairs...then you notarize it with embassy lawyer.

after that pay embassy fees and upload them on their website. after reviewing them, then you will be requested to send it.

After the above process, then you can now apply for your visa

there is a way your school will combine the three classes.

just the way they send it to waec or neco before writing the exam..

just the cumulative of each subject

that is the latest requirements for student visa.

I applied for 3 people last year but 2 people have been approved..

During the process, the embassy requested them to send their S1 S2 S3 AND TESTIMONIAL..

and all must be legalized

Hello everyone. Please, how long does it usually take between when a visa is marked as ‘approved’ and ‘ready for delivery’ for DHL to update the tracking?
My visa was shown as approved on the consulate website last Friday, and today is Tuesday, but there is still no update from DHL.
Has anyone experienced this delay before?

things have really changed now. I remembered vividly I did mine at the Nigeria embassy in 2019. but when i finally moved to Brasil and I told my wife to do the same but they declined that she can do it when gets to Brasil.

When she arrives in Brazil, I did everything online without appearing at the policia federal in 2023...

Anyways, they do change policies. just research on the new policies.

This message is to inform the updated list of required documents for current and future family reunion visa (VITEM XI) applications in case of VITEM holders (study/work permit and other temporary residence visa).

In all cases of VITEM holders who are not yet living in Brazil, it is mandatory to sign a declaration in behalf of family members (spouse and children) applying for family reunion visa (VITEM XI).

The consulate recomends to all VITEM I and VITEM IV beneficiaries/applicants, to request a letter from the institution/university in Brazil, acknowledging that the researcher/professor/student has informed to be travelling with family (listing the name of spouse and children, accordingly).

The declaration must be notarized!

Kindly see atttachments for information on the required documents for family reunion visa applicants, specially in case of children (minors).

SIGNATURE AUTHENTICATION: CPF and RNE/RNM card holders may benefit of the free eletronic signature provided by the federal government platform of public services: Gov.br.

Just make sure you legalize some of the document... Like Police Clearance Birth and Marriage certificate

Type something like "Curso de portugues como lingua adicional Instituto federal de Sao Paulo". The course is not only available in Sao Paulo though. You can check for the one in the city you live in. Admission usually starts 3 months before the course start date.

I suggest you already start learning Portuguese on an app like DuoLingo before the course begins because the teacher would most likely teach in Portuguese even if they can speak English. However, if you are particular about English, then Sao Paulo has a course called "Portugues como lingua adicional para falantes de ingles."

I actually applied for a PhD program in one of the private university at Sao Jose do Campus supported with a fully funded scholarship.
Documents presented:
1.Visa application form
2. Online form signed
3. Passport page
4. Bank Statement
5. Flight ticket including itinerary
5. Self Letter of introduction
6. Letter of introduction from my University which affirm that I am an academic staff of the University.
7. Accommodation/Hotel reservation.
8. Degree certificates which must be notorized
9. Visa Fees printed

The last one which is very important was missing and I was told to submit it which is the police character certificate which must be notorized.
NB: My visa was approved for just five working days as at the time I submitted the police character certificate.

Just do a language program at an "Instituto Federal" instead of a private school to save cost. The program would most likely be virtual but you can use it to get a student visa because the learning hours is a lot in principle. However, classes are like 2-4 hours per week then you complete the other materials by taking the course online via the Moodle learning platform.

The school is for science and technology... I can't find where to apply for português language.
I will appreciate any further clarification from you.
