Chrismanuels:
Hello boss can you give a detailed guide in how to migrate to Brazil with a work visa the application, finance required etc.

Thanks a lot
Below are the instructions:

RN 02 - WORK VISA

Aimed at the foreigner who comes to exercise paid activity by the Brazilian company, it is necessary to sign a local Employment Contract valid for up to 02 (two) years, which may be extended later.

To obtain a visa, we must pay attention to the main requirements of the Ministry of Labor, in particular:

• Proof of studies through diploma, certificates, among others.

• Professional experience in the area you will work in Brazil (taking into account):

- Minimum 12 years of education + proof of 4 years of experience
- Graduation + proof of 2 years of experience
- Graduate + proof of 1 year of experience
- Master's without the need to prove experience

• The salary to be received by the foreigner in Brazil should be considered the highest salary paid by the company to perform the same function;

• The company must respect the proportion of 2/3 in relation to the number of foreign and Brazilian employees in the CLT regime, as well as comply with the same proportionality between the total salaries paid to foreigners and Brazilians; and,

• In case of transfer between companies of the same economic group, the salary to be received in Brazil must be equal to or greater than the last salary received by the foreigner abroad.
INSTRUCTIONS - STEP BY STEP
- After receiving the documents and information, we will prepare the Employment Contract, to be duly signed by the candidate, and then send the process to the General Immigration Coordination in Brasília. I attach the list of documents by the Brazilian company.
- Please be advised that the Ministry of Labor is the body responsible for analyzing and authorizing the process, in which this type of process is currently taking approximately 30 days, plus 5 days to send the Visa Authorization to the Brazilian Consulate abroad, where the candidate must appear for the issuance of the visa in the passport.
- According to new procedures of the new immigration law, it is possible to regularize the visa in Brazil (Federal Police), and for this some additional documents are needed, such as the Criminal Records Certificate, issued at the place of residence in the last 05 years + Birth/Marriage Certificate (both must be handouts based on the Hague Convention). In this case, the visa is initially valid for 01 year, with the possibility of renewal.

Necessary documents:

UPDATED criminal certificate translated by a public translator
Birth/marriage/child certificate translated by a public translator

These documents must be APOSTILLED, if the foreign country is not in the HAGUE agreement, they must be legalized with the Brazilian consulate abroad.

The applicant (foreigner) is fully responsible for the information passed to our company through the draft form, such as personal data in addition to personal documents such as marriage/birth certificates and criminal certificate. If you have questions about language, contact a person close to you for help.
Our company does not have access to personal data/documents because it is exclusive to foreigners.
ATTENTION
It is considered a crime, with penalty of imprisonment and fine, to omit, in a public or private document, a statement that should be included therein, or to insert or have a false or different statement from the one that should be written, in order to harm the right, create an obligation or alter the truth about a legally relevant fact.

Festive periods are always better because of the celebration mood and everyone is kinda relaxed and Easter celebration happens to be closer for Damselbee.

During festive periods, you can apply for vacation with spouses or as a family as a whole and one can use that to apply for visa.

1. You can take leave from your employer, get approval from HR and submit to Embassy. If you self-empolyed, create one

2. Airport officials are also relaxed, either they want to close from work to enjoy the short break or collect tips or inform you to get some cash handy.

Either ways, during festive or no festive, plan and put it to God in prayers!

The most asked questions..

Why are you traveling? and How long are you staying?
Thanks

Depending on your travel status, if you are traveling on a visitors visa, around $1000 should be fine but if you are resident, you don't need any.

Those crooks at immigration will try to tell you that $1000 isn't enough but you have to stand your ground especially if you are a first time trader.
What of someone going on a work visa

CrimeHow Man Who Stole N600k To Lodge In Ogun Hotel Was Stabbed To Death By Female Fr by peppo4live(op): 12:00pm On Dec 31, 2021
A 30-year-old man, identified as Mohammed Ahmed, has been stabbed to death after he reportedly stole N600,000 from his boss to lodge in a hotel.

The Ogun State Police Command said the man was stabbed on Wednesday by a 32-year-old fashion designer, Omowunmi Oyapitan, during a brawl at a hotel where he had hidden after stealing the money.

Ogun police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the police received a distress call at Onipanu Division from one Stephen Udo, the Manager of Splendour Guest Inn.

Udo had told the police that an argument ensued between two of his guests in the hotel, and in the process, Oyapitan broke a bottle and stabbed Ahmed in the neck.

The DPO of Onipanu division, CSP Bamidele Job, was said to have mobilized his men to the scene of the incident, where the victim was met in the pool of his blood.

Oyeyemi stated that the police arrested the suspect, while the victim was rushed to State Hospital, Ota, where he was pronounced dead.

According to the police image maker, preliminary investigation had revealed that the victim, a bartender at one Hayorlak Hotel, had lodged in the guest inn since Monday after stealing the money.

He was said to have used part of the stolen money to lodge some of his friends. He had an altercation with one of those he lodged in the hotel for accusing him of stealing his money.

The accusation, it was gathered, “led to hot exchange of words between them.”

“The suspect, who claimed to know the other boy in their street, intervened and the deceased who was not pleased with her intervention gave her a fist blow in the mouth and in retaliation, she broke a bottle and stabbed the deceased on his neck,” Oyeyemi stated, adding that the case would be transferred to the homicide section at Eleweran, Abeokuta for further investigation and prosecution.

To avoid the dissemination of the new variant of the SARS-CoV-2, the Brazilian government adopted new regulations for the entry of international travellers in its territory. They will be enforced from the 18th December 2021. These measures include:

- the need to present negative or non-detected results for the SARS-CoV-2 at the time of the embark. Antigen and RT-PCR tests will be accepted if done up to 24 hours and 72 hours of the departure, respectively;

- the need of all travellers to fill the health declaration form "Declaração de Saúde do Viajante" - DSV (https://formulario.anvisa.gov.br), within 24 hours of the departure;

- the need to present to the airline responsible for the flight, upon check-in, proof of vaccination, printed or digital, with the immunizers approved either by the Brazilian Agency ANVISA or by the World Health Orgsanization or the authorities of the countries where the traveller was vaccinated. Please note that the last jab must have occurred at least 14 days before departure;

- the need for a 5-day quarantine at home or at the place of accomodation and to do a test-to-release after the 5 days to all travellers that could not present a proof of full vaccination, completed at least 14 days of the departure to Brazil;

- temporary ban of any foreign travellers or any international flight originating or coming to Brazil from the followinf countries: South Africa, Botwana, Eswatini (former Swaziland), Lesotho, Namibia and Zimbabwe in the last 14 days. Exceptions will be made only to Brazilian nationals, foreign residents in Brazil and government/international organization officials; and.

- special regulations will also be in force for airline and ship crews.

The Consulate reccomends to all Nigerian travelling to Brazil to verify with their airlines about the restrictions. In case of any queries, please contact us at consular.lagos@itamaraty.gov.br.
