Solution
Clothing = 1/2 Xmas. =1/8 Total spending on clothing and Xmas =1/2+1/8 =5/8
Total income in fraction = 8/8 Therefore, the rest on food = 8/8 - 5/8 = 3/8
Total income if he spends N2400 on Xmas
1/8 X Total income = N2400
T/8 = N2400 Making T the subject
T= N19200
On food
3/8 X N19200 = N7200
Total income = N19,200 What he spent on food = N7,200 |

How can someone go about it? barnaby04: Bom dia a todos,
Como foi a tua noite?
Perhaps this is the best time for you to apply for your Brazilian visa as a tourist. The country is hosting the world under 17 football tournament later this month.
Why not take advantage of this and apply as a genuine tourist because events like this attracts football fans from around the world. |

Is it a norm for the visa officer not to collect someone's passport after the interview?
"You will hear from us via e-mail" that was the last statement the visa officer made.
Any comment? |

He just have to try his luck tolux8899: Bro, Weather you apply for tourist visit or not , they won't give you since you have mentioned in the front of the consular. I did the same mistake early this year. We were denied within 6 days. Please save your money and apply next time. |

Desperation of the highest order... See what a woman is pushing her husband into... Just because of citizenship. Naija, I hail thee Shallypop: You are doing a great job but some Nigerians always look for loopholes and abuse the system. I introduced a woman that supposed to travel to give birth in Brazil to someone who resides in Brazil. Unfortunately, she couldn't get the visa cos she's had her previous children in USA and was really desperate not to have a Nigerian citizen. However, she had her baby in Nigeria. She called d lady I introduced to her upon seeing this post of yours that she wants her hubby to get a tourist visa to Brazil, d lady should help her arrange a baby dat her hubby can claim as d father in order for him to get the PR. This means their last born dat was born in Nigeria can automatically get the Brazilian citizenship. Imagine such corruption from a desperate Nigerian . She has posted on this thread and I'm not scared to mention her here.Cc Justwise, Ifyalways. |

Travel › Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by peppo4live: 9:40pm On Aug 01, 2019 |
Thanks MrBrownJay1: The sad part here is that many clueless people will be deceived into believing that they CANT do it simply because so many donkeys have been following other donkeys who listened to people who have failed in this venture. CONTACT ANY IMMIGRATION LAWYER, and you will see how easy it is to get a working visa from within Brasil (and Do a visa run at the border). Some people will come here and tell you it cant be done because they read it on some BS forums while i am telling them it CAN be done because WE HAVE DONE IT FOR 3 OF OUR STAFF (one had overstayed for 2fukcng years) ... I guess those visas came from the holy spirit then.
Sadly thats the way most AFRICANS are, they move to another country and follow-follow what other AFRICANS have done (even if it is a failure), thus doing the exact same rubbish without discovering nothing for themselves. They remain clueless and they never want to go out of the beaten track, they do exactly what other millions have done, take the same BS pics to post on their social media and then believe they have achieved anything while they have nothing of value to show for. Many people are cowards that have limits to their own small lives, and if thats what emigrating is for them, then so be it, but NEVER LIMIT YOURSELF UPON THE TINY ACHIEVEMENTS OF OTHERS, go for your own Goals, question everything, go to your own boundaries and never be afraid to make your own path in life.there are just too many blind people, never expect to be another one of them.... Just be smart!!!
An immigration lawyer armed with all the paperwork and valid contract will go to the ministry (labor/foreign affairs) and will therefore apply and get your working visa that you can pick up from any embassy in the world OR the border as you come into Brasil...thus the closest/easiest being to do a visa run Argentina (iguazu)....you go out the border into Argentna and right back out and into brasil .... Passport stamped, et voila! |

adigunomomama: My Update about all this work permit argument going on here...
There is a lawyer that is doing a work permit to foreigners working in Brasil now
You have to been working and your working permit signed on or before 2017
A valid protocol (asylum seeker doc)
Criminal report from your home country and other Brasil docs like CPF and proof of residence (comprovante de endereco)
He will help you do the process and you will be granted a work permit of 28 months renewable like he said
The process do take up to 7 - 9 months
But work permit from Nigeria, I never see that one before and if it is possible...my brother you go try gan to get that one. Thanks for the update. Very helpful |

How I wish my employer gets to know this your trick ooooo MrBrownJay1: You can change from a tourist visa to a working visa.... But it's a bit tricky... While on your tourist visa, you find a job, get the contract etc, then you apply via a lawyer, who will make all the paperwork for you. When they visa has been approved, the lawyer will give you all the working visa details.... AND THATS WHEN IT GET TRICKY, you need to go to the border, and you walk out of brazil on one side enter Argentina (for example) and walk right back in Brazil on the other side (stating the working visa # etc)... Then you will get the right stamp in your passport ( even if your tourist visa had expired) with which you will now be legally on a working visa in Brazil.
You can't do that at the airport because you have to legally leave Brazil, that's why you have to do it at the border.... Many people take buses to do these visa run. No big deal! |
