truefact: Awolowo never believed in anything that's why he died like nothing. He is coward. He has no choice of his. Zik bring him to nigeria, Gowon kept him in Nigeria even to this days.
Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..
It is Yoruba cowardice and timidity that make them want Igbos to remain in Nigeria. Igbos give those cowards a kind of protection and cover from their masters up north. That is why if igbos secede now, yorubas will secede from their Hausa masters.
Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..
Your hero committed suicide. Your hero is coward who never fight for your freedom. Your hero had no choice of his, remember Zik made him accept nigeria and Gowon made him stay in Nigeria. Your hero believed nothing and die like nothing. ..WHAT A BIG SHAME Even wt u' messed up gramm' u'r still hating...what'ur probl'm is?? Well lemme address ur issues. Did yorubas complain to u dat they' havn problem wt ds country? Yorubas ar not clueless lyk ya, they knw wat they want and they knw hw to get. They understand dat fate has brought us together and we av to figure out a way of co-exist, they dont throw senseless tantrums lyk ya do. Yoruba aint hostile to other ethnic grps, they ar the bond holdin ds nation in one piece and they ar the most matured. Ya igbos dont knw wat ya want, even if u get ur biafra (hallucination), individuals amongst ya w'd still wanna make his own country (fact). You don'wanna be part of ds country yet u keep invading other regions lyk epidemic disease. Nobody is holdin u dwn cry babies, return and congregate in ur region and d world will knw u' serious bout ur biafra thing. |

chino11: This is a welcome development, the Yorubas should be effectively and perpetually marginalized and schemed out, because they deserve worst things also. What did they achieve for their rotten Yoruba states during wasted years of the baboon called Obasanjorijo Useless and woe tribe. They should step up the complaint, GEJ will as usual and as always mess them up. They forgot that Tinubo sold them out for a pot of 'ewodu', the same way their foolish leaders sold out abioala to the almajiris to be slaughtered. Politics › Re: 5 Things Igbos Won From 2015 Elections by Perceptor(m): 4:19pm On Apr 12, 2015 |
Ikengawo: With the elections at an end the word on everyone tongue today is Igbo. From uncertainty about the 'fate' of an oppositional Igbo people in a Nigeria ruled by APC. I'm confident that there's nothing to 'fear' about APC being in power because I believe they will follow the example created by GEJ of politics without bitterness. Moreover, no group in Nigeria has gained more politically in the past 5 years than the Igbo people. I say this because though few of us are keen to this habit, I like to keep myself familiar with the past to contrast it with the present. In the recent past were were fragmented, disunited and voiceless at the center. Today I present the gains we have made in the past few years that has made the Igbo people today's political epicenter.
Rekindled Alliances: Our ability to stay focused on the original adversary to our progress not just as a tribe, but as a region, allowed the South South which is typically inconsistent to inessence 'see the light'. It also allowed may Igbos to let bygones be bygones the business environment in Nigeria improved under GEJ. Igbos related to the witch hunting, envy and sabotage against GEJ and rallied to support him. At the same time the South South saw this gesture and past transgression from both regions were left as water under the bridge. With an increase of awareness in the south south and an increase in forgiveness in the south east, the Eastern alliance is back. An honorable mention goes to the eastern middle belt which is also firmly pro-PDP as wel.
PDP: Without a doubt Igbos now have a major party that represents and protects their interests. In the past Igbos were a marginal part of all parties in Nigeria except their own APGA. With APGA and PDP allying and Igbos staying loyal to the new PDP built be GEJ, PDP has come of age. Most importantly the exodus of tribalist elements from the SW and North have left the incredibly powerful wide spread machinery of the PDP in Igbo hands as the part reforms to be more technocrat based and the home of fair ethical politics. Today Igbos have a steer and undeniable leadership and equity in Labour, PDP, APGA, and increasingly the APC.
Lagos seats: It is clear that the presence of Igbos in Lagos has reached a level of discomfort for Yorubas (primarily non indigenous yorubas) that even a royal monarch feels the threat of consolidated Igbo domination. While Igbos didn't come to Lagos to dominate, Their successes and presence has been rewarded by the election of multiple Igbo men and women into the Lagos assembly, making Igbos to only ethnic group to win elections outside of their ethnic region. Today the elections of Yoruba Jimi Agbaje and Yoruba Ambode is left with Igbos being the primary focus of discussion but a fearful APC and the lagos populace as a whole because the force of our will has been shown in our electoral victories.
Unity: For the first time in years Igbos are one. We speak with one voice. We went to the polls for one man. the Igbos in the PDP are allies with those in APGA, those in APGA are allies with those in PDP. Delta Igbo and South East Igbo are by the day not see as two separate things. Our vision and focus is now clear and more united than that of any group as Igbos are now seen as the bedrock of power for the east region, the PDP, and the Nigerian economy.
Political Maturity: As a mark of pride, the SE was the only violence free region during the entire 2015 campaign era. Under GEJ our gubernatorial elections have been conducted effortlessly. People are happy with results and because the voice of the people is now king the 'vassals' installed on us by former military rulers are all gone. Today all Igbo leaders are their own man, like them or not, as opposed to the 'boys' of military men. You gain pdp? me laffing... you booked a first class on a sinking ship. lol |

Politics › Re: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by Perceptor(m): 1:49pm On Apr 11, 2015 |
EroticAngelina: RUBBISH!!!!! arrant nonsense!!!! These Yoruba ppl are so selfish and pompous!
If not that Lagos was once the capital of Nigeria, It would have been a local minor state like every other state in this country!! This discrimination towards Igbo people by yorubas is getting out of hand! for starters, why on earth should that useless oba threaten igbos in Lagos?? Are we not free to vote whoever we want?? That oba and his supporters are sent to destroy the peace of this country!
What I really wanna understand is what exactly did Igbo ppl do to this man This inhumane discrimination has been going on for a long time! As long as u are a citizen of Nigeria, u have every right to settle down wherever u want in Nigeria.
we don't discriminate against any tribe in igboland, so why should they? In case they didn't know, igbos also took part in developing Lagos. Igbos are the most hardworking ppl in Nigeria(and I'm not saying that bkus I'm Igbo, its the fvcking truth. just like everybody knows Yorubas like education and parties)
for Pete's sake, we are the same ppl, human beings. just like someone said, tribes are just created to give power, it doesn't differentiate u from others.
#peace! lemme adress d issues one by each. You igbos ar the pompous and egoistic ones, pple frm various tribes av confirmed that. Lagos was made the capital because it had all the potential to be the center of excellence in nigeria. such potential av neva been found in any igbo land even in modern days. Igbos ar not d only non indigenous tribe in lagos, hausas ar there in large numbers but they respect d privilege they enjoy unlike igbos. Igbo always av tendences of treason whereever they ar given opportunity to strive and that is why the hausas hate you to hell. |

GBTYO: You voted Buhari and now expect everyone else in the south to do same.
Lest I remind you the SouthSouth is still solidly PDP why then do you always fight the Igbos alone whose party affiliations cut accross APGA, PDP and APC? Rochas is an APC governor so also is Ngige where both men have strong followings in the SE.
Other than Edo, no other state in the SouthSouth region can be said to have a strong APC prescence. Even Amaechi knows that Rivers people will never vote the APC.
I remember during the runup to the presidential elections how the SW and NOrth designated the GEJ administration as an Igbo government. Even Nyako once wrote an open letter to the President whereby he asked the Igbos to call their son Jonathan to order.
For some reason the SouthSouth was not to be offended other than the Ijaws since the APC still needs ND oil to manage their useless Nigeria.
Now that the presidential elections have come and gone why are you Tajus rubbing in the loss of GEJ as a win against the Igbos where it was in the SouthSouth Jonathan recorded the highest win and turnover votes?
As a ND citizen I will like to remind you in the SW to look at the SS as you most newly acquired enemies.
Unlike the Igbos we in the SS don't need Lagos or any part of Nigeria to survive. My state Delta offers any Job description to any able bodied and willing man who truly wants to earn a descent wage.
So please, kindly include us in the ND as your new enemies alongside the Igbos and the Ijaws. You igbos ar fond of brooding and on other pples eggs. PDP was not created by you but chose a niger deltan as presidential candidate, now u claim its ur party ignoring ur still birth apga, U av ur own land, though infertile and not economically productive, yet u claim lagos belongs to u. All of ur actions ar controlled by greed and coveteousness |
