In the spirit of giving back. I have been following this thread for a while and I have learnt a lot. I got my Canadian visa long before I thought of giving birth. When I got pregnant we decided to have our last baby in Canada as the order two were born in America. I left abuja for Toronto yesterday 11/05/2019 on British airways. I was asked for my fit to fly, which I gave to them, they made a copy and returned the original to me. My stopover in London was very short, I got into Toronto 8pm local time.i Joined the long queue. They had a part automated immigration system, I used the machine answered the questions and got a printout, after that I was directed to the queue to see the immigration officer that will sign me in. Immigration officers: what are you here for? To have your baby? Me- yes and to visit family to Immigration official- how long are you staying Me- 2mths Immigration officer- where does your family stay? Me- Brampton Immigration Officer- welcome to Canada and congratulations on your baby(as he stamps me in) I just quickly walked away before he changes his mind. I prayed for ease of passage, and God exceeded my expectations. Wishing everyone the best of luck... 12 Likes |

Awwwww, there is nothing incriminating about going to give birth, I have friends that did it, and they got there visas. I actually got my visa a year before I got pregnant. So will just mention it to the immigration officials. It is well, God will see you through. [quqote author=fruitfulie post=74284208] Good morning my sister. I am due in May and at this point I am really getting worked up. I am seriously fighting anxiety. My lilttle brother is a PR and I do not in anyway wish to implicate him by not fully declaring I am coming to give birth. He is aware of my stand but he feels declaring it may hinder my chances. I would like to find out the following Have you gotten your Visa... Are you travelling with your family... Is it possible to fill vacation and birth tourism on a single application form. If no how best can I indicate my main intention of giving birth. Have you gotten your reserved flight ticket without payment. Can you share your budget sheet and statement of purpose with me. So sorry you were denied. I was also denied last year, but this year i re -applied. What I did differently, I took my time to gather my documentations. Below are the documents I submitted. 1. Payslip 2. Statement of accounts of all my accounts 3. Pension statement of account 4. Fixed deposits contract note. 5. Photocopy of all my previous visas(I was using a fresh passport). I have been to the US several times, France, UK, Dubai, Germany. 5. Reference letter from my place of work. 6. Shares Certificates 7. Landed properties 8. Invitation letter (I have a sibling who is a citizen) 9. Letter from my insurance company for my life policy. 10. My kids are American citizens, so I made copies of their passport and birth certificates. That was it. It was out in about 2weeks. Bottom line, you can try again. Be more thorough with your documentations and above all commit it to God. Hello, I have a quick question. I filled a DS160 form. For some reason I couldn't make my appointment two times due to health reasons. I had to make another payment. Do I need to fill out another DS 160 form. Or do I just go ahead and use same confirmation page. Thank you for your swift response. PLS I would appreciate if someone can help me with this. |
