uboma:That's good to know, but allow his body to mature. Let him reach 1 year old |
juman:Borrowing isn't needed to build infrastructure. Also, people wouldn't complain much if the money being borrowed is actually being put into good use, but it's instead getting looted |
allthingsgood:Life doesn't revolve around wailers or whatever. Some of us just want a government they'll perform, irrespective of our party affiliations. Get that into your skull |
Allow the boy to mature before using him for stud. At this his young age, he's still inexperienced and most females will reject him |
udemzyudex:I swear, with the kind of blind fellowship I see on Nairaland, I'm greatly afraid for this country |
juman:He's not doing well in any regards. NASS are not there to asslick the executives. Their job is to act as a check on the powers of the executives, but the current NASS are just "Oh Yes" members. In case you don't know, they're mortgaging our future. The children of our politicians will never suffer the effects of these useless borrowings. Shalom |
allthingsgood:APC were voted to correct the misdoings of the previous administration, but they've only suceeded in making everything worst. Tell yourself the truth. Everything PDP was accused of, APC has done the same thing, and has done much worse |
Chukwurah003:Sarrki has always been supporting the stance of this government on the Boko Haram terrorists. He changed when herdsmen attacked his farm and destroyed hos crops worth millions. Keep party affiliations aside, don't support evil lest evil befall you. Even if you're an APC supporter, if you see something wrong, say it's wrong. That's maturity. Don't let #30,000 becloud your judgement, you're worth much more than that. Shalom |
May this evil Boko Haram never end well. This will never materialize. May all the evil and corrupt politicians that brought this evil and satanic Boko Haram into our nation never end well in life. Along with everyone that supports them. Evil.and miserable end await them all. They will never know peace all the remaining miserable years they have to live. No be curse, Na FACT.
If God answers this your prayer, I hope you know Buhari will die first, because he has been supporting these people. You'll die too, because by supporting the people who brought Boko Haram upon us, you're tacitly supporting Boko Haram. Go figure |
helinues:In the near future, you will fall victim to herdsmen attack |
voltron14:The owner of the company went by himself. I said to go and ask the workers because they know about it since he's asking for evidence |
voltron14:You can go there to find out. Their office is along Aba - Owerri road. Ask the workers |
voltron14:He's actually right. A few years ago, Tonimas offered to repair a stretch of the Aba - Owerri road near their factory that was in terrible condition, but he was stopped by the Ministry of Works. My colleague's dad almost got into trouble when he fixed a short stretch of road leading into the estate where he lives |
jahsharon:Don't mistake America's debt with ours. They're two very different things. There's something called serviceable debt. Sensible countries will borrow to fund capital expenditures. Those capital expenditure will help improve ease of doing business in the country, and so help them recover the funds to repay the loans. It's just like A businessman who borrowed money to stock his warehouse with more goods for sale. He knows he'll be able to repay the loan when he sells his goods. You'll agree with me that this businessman is wise. That's serviceable debt. Another businessman will borrow money for his birthday party. This is foolishness, and it's exactly what our country is doing. That's the difference between the debt of the US and that of Nigeria |
itsme01:What did they use it for? Did they disburse it at #10,000 to people? What our government is doing is foolishness. 10,000 is nothing in present-day Nigeria. You may say it's something for some people, but prices in the market don't discriminate against the rich from the poor. Any sensible government will use this amount to provide infrastructure that'll help private businesses thrive. If they really want to give loans to businesses, they should give high-value loans to individuals to improve their businesses. Those individuals will then employ more people and improve their production, and this will have a ripple effect on the economy. Instead of giving #10,000 to 500 people, give #5000000 to 1 proven businessman and watch how well he'll utilize it. That's common sense. An example is what Tony Elumelu is doing |
God forbid I raise my kids in this country. We borrow billions of dollars for infrastructure, and still go ahead to throw money away in the name of "soft loans". Lugard, it shall never be well with you |
Angelfrost:I'm not saying what he did is right or wrong, I'm just tryna clarify because some people are already trying to claim it's a constituency project. Also, the wealthy people in some villages share foodstuff to people during festivities. I think it's the same thing he did. They killed a cow or cows and he shared the meat to people. |
I think he did it simply as a Christmas package, not a constituency project |
osazsky:Too many lies in 1 sentence. I'm impressed with your lying prowess. |
abtogroup:Bro it's not about ruling the country but about improving standard of lives. The North has ruled the country for many years but they're still lowest in all facets of development. If you've also noticed, the East doesn't really clamour for presidency the way the West does. Apart from a few of our leaders who make silly remarks, how often do you see Easterners here in nairaland arguing over getting the presidency? Think about it. The truth is that we know Nigeria isn't going to work. It wasn't designed to work, that's why we want out, that's why the clamour for Biafra is so appealing. It's either secession or true federalism otherwise we're all going to go down together |
BlackfireX:You're willing to sit back and watch your people getting killed simply because you're HOPING for a shot at the presidency in 2023? Wow! You know it's very possible you may end up becoming a victim of the herdsmen activities, right? |
waleadex:We've been hopeful for more than 50 years. We're wasting hope on a hopeless situation |
Exc2000:I'm sure you didn't read the post at all. If you did, you won't make this silly remark. |
Coldfeets:Rattlesnake venom isn't even very deadly. You can actually survive a rattlesnake envenomation without seeing a doctor. |
Coldfeets:Africa has both the green mamba and the black mamba. We don't have rattlers |
Yohh:The devil wasn't given the power to create new things, so I'm guessing what all these juju do is to manipulate already existing entities, including human conditions (such as vaginismus) |
My dad impressed me the day he did the heimlich maneuver on my sister. She was choking and while momsy was panicking, Dad walked calmly to where my sister was, did the maneuver and the piece of bone choking her fell out of her mouth |
Voy:These aren't lhasa apsos |

I honestly don't know who advises these people. Banning importation of goods isn't the answer, whether the goods are produced in the country or not. If these countries decide to retaliate and ban importation from Nigeria, we'll be the ones to suffer it. Solution: Create a good environment for businesses to thrive, and watch if we'll need to import some of these foodstuff again |
