I was thinking of doing it as an unaccompanied spouse yet my score was still low.

She can only add 20 points for Ielts of which she has 8 with the test score..i think the remaining 12 is insignificant compared to about 50 points you need to be in good standing. You can consider learning French or PNP
Btw,is bsc your highest qualification? If yes,you can get another qualification to add. Am wondering why you have a low CRS score

If what you are asking is,can the mother use medical aid to pay for the bills? The answer is a capital no,and yes if she collects med aid it would affect her chance of getting her visa renewed,in fact she is most likely not going to get her visa renewed if she does.

Came in San Diego California on Saturday. Flight route was agonisingly and back-breakingly long. Itenary for BA/United was 6hrs 15mins (Lagos-Heathrow, 9hrs (HTR - Chicago) and 3hrs 45mins (Chicago-San Diego). Totally 19hrs plus. Am still trying to recover .
