Any suggestions on what i should do? i have the e-tickets and booking reference. Should i DHL my card to wifey back in Abuja?

Hello house! Justwise thanks for your advice last Sept; am all settled in Manchester now, studying. Just a little advice from the House. What are d requirements for Uk visit for my wife and child? do i need to send documents aside letter of invitation and my visaed paasport page to them? does the 28days account stuff also apply?

Pls i am about to apply next week for my student visa; i was refused last year because i didnt indicate that i had a passport (expired, actually) different from the one i had and that i had applied before to the UK (2006). The wordings are as below

“You should note that because this application for entry clearance has been refused under paragraph 320(7A) of the Immigration Rules, any future applications may also be refused under paragraph 320(7B)  of the Immigration Rules, (subject to the requirements set out in paragraph 320 (7C)).

320(7B) = 10yrs ban
I assumed the passports were independent of each other me being a novice. Honest mistake really!


I am being sponsored by a govt agency and am prepared to state evrything on the form this time around. is there anything i should add in the 'additional information' part? Pls what are my chances this time around?

i had to deferr my admission for next yr.then i had my CAS,My mtce fees etc;also had my ATAS certificate.just wanted to be sure i wont be banned for false information. it was actually a scholarsip so i had no probs wit sponsorship.just deferred the schlarship till next yr.you are saying,when filling the forms i should indicate the reasons for my refusal?what do u think i should use as my reason for the 2nd refusal?thanks for ur response,appreciated.

1st refusal was based on insufficient fund on bank account;
2nd refusal not stating that i had been applied and had been refused before on the visa form filled.

My question is this; applied for student visa last september but out of ignorance, i indicated i had not applied b4 based on the fact that i used a manual passport and not e-passport when i apllied in 2006. regretably i was refused visa. will the refusal affect my application for next year?how do u advise i fill the forms?cos i intend to provide all information this time around. hope say dem no go ban me for 10yrs.its scary men!!!
