Looks more befitting to be called an International Airport. Probably gonna be be the best in Africa if it had to be an Airport. But the present one has alot of space for expansion and second wing Terminal. |

There are many more we needed to discover and recover too from Rivers. This strategy to deprive imo state and igboland in general of development then should be corrected now. This left us with noting to develop and buid J.B Setraco and R.C.C standard type of roads, infrastructures because we lack finance. 44 oil well still small for me, rivers still has stolen thousands of oil wells. |

toyinid78: *CANADIAN MAYOR REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK FROM SCHOOL CANTEEN MENU* and EXPLAINS WHY
Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of a Montreal suburb. The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval has refused, and the town-clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why. Here's that note:
“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, its traditions, its way of life, because that's where they chose to immigrate.
“They must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec.
“They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who so generously welcomed them.
“They must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic, they accepted many immigrants before Muslims (whereas the reverse is not true, in that Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants).
“That no more than other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity, their culture.
“And if Canada is a land of welcome, it's not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.
“Finally, they must understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain. The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.
“For *Muslims who disagree* with secularism and *do not feel comfortable in Canada,* there are *57 beautiful Muslim countries* in the world, most of them *under-populated* and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Sharia.
*“If you left your country for Canada,* and *not for* other *Muslim countries,* it is because *YOU* have *considered* that *life is better in Canada than elsewhere.*
*“Ask yourself the question,* just once, *“Why is it better here in Canada than where you come from?”* 'A canteen with pork' is part of the answer.”
*****************
*EXEMPLARY*. Share this to *PROMOTE TOLERANCE* in the world. This is what should be adopted by all countries. This one loud well well.. if only they will leave Christian countries in peace, they feel others should change, take considerations and orders to suit them. Who cares. You ran to a secular nation and Muhammad thought you to make problems to change their way of life abi? Why not go to your sharia countries that will accommodate you, No.. continue complaining. |

post=109952508: The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) has said that the Onitsha River Port concession, which is under a Rehabilitate-Operate and Transfer (ROT) arrangement, targets to generate over N50 billion revenue.
The 30-year concession, which has received the approval of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will serve as an alternative source of transporting goods to the South East from Lagos, Port Harcourt and other areas with adequate water connectivity.
The Ag. Head, Media and Publicity, Manji Yarling said the FEC’s approval followed a detailed process under the regulatory guidance of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) which commenced in 2011 with support from the World Bank. The Onitsha River Port which was officially opened over three decades ago has not been optimally utilised, having been neglected for years, and it is one of the four River Ports in the country with others situated in Lokoja, Kogi State; Baro in Niger State and Oguta in Imo State. Yarling pointed out that “This concession is part of the bigger Federal Government’s plan to concession the remaining river ports and enhance inland waterways transportation in the country. “The 30-year concession is expected to generate over N50 billion to the Federal Government and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, while facilitating more efficient trade within the country through cheaper, easier and cleaner method of transporting goods and services. The Port is equipped to deal with general cargo such as containers, bulk cargo and other packaged freight, and has a land area of over 12 Hectares. “The wharf is 324 meters long with a further provision for additional expansion of 234 meters, and the Port also has facilities such as storage workshops and parking areas to cater for operations.” https://tribuneonlineng.com/onitsha-river-port-concession-to-generate-over-n50bn-revenue-%E2%80%95-icrc/ already viable Port since 3 decade when Tech was not this sophisticated, they're playing politics with. a whole city like Onitsha, by now they should have been talking about buiding another neaby Port or expansion becausethe activists will be unexpected. ANSMEDIA: Air Peace deploys two new aircraft on Anambra route
Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline, has announced the deployment of its brand new Embraer 195-E2 and Boeing 737 aircraft on the Anambra route.
Spokesperson of the airline, Stanley Olisa, confirmed the development in a statement issued in Lagos on Wednesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the development followed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCCA) recent approval of the Anambra Airport to operate B737-700 and its equivalent aircraft.
Olisa explained that the airline has also increased flight frequencies on specific domestic routes, including Anambra.
He noted that the airline’s brand new Embraer 195-E2 and Boeing 737 aircraft, with more passenger capacity, would be deployed on the route, adding that frequency had been increased to daily flights for Anambra.
“This new development means more flight availability for passengers flying the route, which is reflective of the airline’s resolve to ease the burden of air travel in the country.

https://punchng.com/gtbank-innoson-dispute-supreme-court-reverses-prior-ruling-readmits-banks-appeal/?amThe Supreme Court has ruled in favour of Guaranty Trust Bank after it reversed its earlier decision which dismissed an appeal by GTB against a N2.4bn judgment given in favour of Innoson Motors Nigeria Limited by the Court of Appeal in Ibadan, Oyo State. A senior official of GTB, who confirmed this to The PUNCH on Sunday, said, “Yes, the Supreme court ruled in favour of GTbank on Friday.” A judgment delivered on Friday by a five-member panel, led by Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, held unanimously that the Supreme Court erred when, in a ruling on February 27, 2019, it erroneously dismissed the appeal marked: SC/694/2014 filed by GTB. In the lead judgment, written by Justice Tijani Abubakar, but read on Friday by Justice Abdu Aboki, the court held that it was misled by its Registry, which failed to promptly bring to the notice of the panel that it sat on the case on February 27, 2019, and that GTB had already filed its appellant’s brief of argument. The judgment was on an application by GTB seeking the re-listing of the appeal on the grounds that it was wrongly dismissed. The Supreme Court said the panel that sat on the case on February 27, 2019, being notified of the existence of the appellant’s brief of argument, would not have given the ruling which dismissed GTB’s appeal on grounds of lack of diligent prosecution. Relying on Order 8 Rules 16 of the Supreme Court’s Rules, Justice Abubakar, in the lead judgment, held that the apex court has the power to set aside its decision in certain circumstances, like any other court. He added that such circumstances include where there is any reason to do so, such as where any of the parties obtained judgment by fraud, default or deceit; where such a decision is a nullity or where it is obvious that the court was misled into giving a decision. Justice Tijani held that the circumstances of the GTB case fall into the category of the rare cases where the Supreme Court could amend or alter its own order on the grounds that the said order or judgment did not present what it intended to record. “I am convinced that at the material time that the appellant’s appeal was inadvertently dismissed by this court, there was in place, a valid and subsisting brief of argument filed by the applican Abubakar said. He proceeded to set aside the court’s ruling of February 27, 2019, dismissing GTB’s appeal and ordered that the appeal marked 694/2014 “be relisted to constitute an integral part of the business of the court until its hearing and determination on the merit.” Other members of the panel – Justices Ariwoola, John Okoro, Helen Ogunwumiju, Aboki – agreed with the lead judgment.
