A TB test came out negative but showing "abnormal chest x-ray". The IOM doctor suggested the applicant see his own personal doctor tho. Will this abnormal chest x-ray affects his visa application by next month?

Are you going alone?don't you have a dependant?no you wouldn't meet up..getting a job alone as student will be very difficult.if you have a wife,she is the one that would have found a job easily without any stress and helped you.my cousin that went since December hasn't found a job yet.go with a dependant that can help you.lets say you don't get a job for 5 months how then will you cope?it's your dependant that would be working because as a student employers don't like to employ people that still study..take my advice so you don't get stranded there.im also applying but I'm going to do that with a dependant.

Good morning House.
I applied for a UK standard visit visa and did my biometrics on Feb 20.
I had a program I am to attend on May 5 and was supposed to arrive in UK on April 25 which was what I wrote on my visa application form.
I was issued the visa and noticed that my entry date was written as 18th of May instead of 18th of April.
Please what do I do? Am I supposed to pay for a new visa application or write them or what?

I did bio on the 21st of feb, priority visitor visa as well. It’s been at “application received by the DMC” since 24th of feb. I haven’t gotten a response nor my passport yet, I wonder why. And what the money for the priority service was for

Update: Our applications have been received by VAC and collection mails just dropped. So nervous

The ECO has requested for the evidence of maintenance for herself and her spouse for those dates to ensure the funds were not recycled and that the POF were not fake arrangements made these days


We will keep seeing more of these request to tackle POF fake arrangements, borrowed funds or as people call it "run POF"

She should provide the documents requested or sit back and wait for a refusal

My application for partner visa was refused. I want to start proof of funds for another application which is 6.5m in my account. Do I need to run proof of funds in my husband’s account to show his money too, just mine is fine. My husband is in the UK already since January.

Please i tried tracking my status on the website today and i saw that my application has been transferred to VAC. I didn't receive any mail. No brp mail, no nsf, no empty nsf...Should i be worried. I'm scared

No I did not. I was surprise also at the response time even with an empty NSF for one of the applicants.

Agent he paid used a fake bank statement for him for Canada study permit application. He got ban.

He wants to apply for a Bsc program to UK. He is 28yrs old. Will age be a barrier to get UK tier 4 visa?
Yes you can but this time you have prove to themselves you have the required documents and no falsehood.
Let them know if you were ask that you were wrongly represented by the agent u used

6th Dec - Visa application (Child Dependant)
7th Dec - Biometrics (MA and Dependant)

9th Dec - Additional doc request (Dependant)
15th Dec - Uploaded doc requested (Dependant)
19th Dec - Paid mail for both MA and Dependant
Several paid mails and calls
27th Dec - Biometrics letter dropped (MA)

29th - DHL brought passport. Decision made 23rd Dec, Vignette sitting pretty and smiling (MA)

This is where the story begins on dependants application

I did several paid mail and paid calls. Decision has been made but they cannot disclose the outcome of the decision. I should wait until VAC tells me I should come and pick the passport before going.
After all the prayers and fasting, mail dropped and....

4th Jan 23 - Visa denied (Dependant is a 5 year old girl)

The visa refusal was because during the 28 days of the bank statement rendered and using the OANDA rate of the date of application, naira equivalent of £30 dropped. Meaning that one of the account balance for the day on the statement was less than £30 pounds. I cried my eyes out that day. The most painful part is that I have another bank statement that I would have merged, which is a domiciliary account and there is some money in it which would have been enough and over what was required.

I thought of what to do. I couldn't find any solution and doing an administrative review wasn't an option as the outcome can take up to 6 months, and it costs £80. I was discouraged, but I still believed God can do wonders afterall I have put everything in Gods hands. I cried myself to sleep.

5th of Jan - I wrote a full 2 page appeal letter that I cannot leave her because she is small, a girl child, I am the only parent, blablabla. I mentioned the trauma she is likely to experience, breakdown etc - the thing too much. I then wrote a 4 page cover letter admitting my fault and telling them that I have another account that can be merged. The cover letter covered everything I have been doing for her since conception to birth, all our hospital visits, her allergies everything, and I am the only person who can take god care of her as she is only a minor.

Hmmm, I attached all the previous documents I have submitted earlier and uploaded 2 months bank statement for both accounts as against the 28 days bank statement and sent to all the channels they have ever communicated me with - Amendment, Escalation, Document, BRP, all of them. With all of these they did not reply me. Days runs into weeks no reply. Did paid call and paid mail - decision has been made since 23rd of Dec (Visa refusal).

I lost hope in it and started demanding for passport to be returned. I write mail tire.......

18th Jan - I travelled to the UK - School resumes by 23rd Jan
18th Jan - IHS Refunded
30th Jan - Collection mail to return passport
31st Jan - I started another visa application. Saved it and was going to pay for IHS and Visa the next day.
1st of Feb - BRP mail dropped (Visa successful). Decision made 27th Jan. I cried and cried. This would be my very first experience of crying for joy. Not to exaggerate, I cried for more than 30mins, praising God and crying at the same time. IT WAS A MIRACLE THAT I CANNOT COMPREHEND.
1st of Feb - DHL delivered passport - Vignette sitting pretty - My daughters picture was too fine in it. God is wonderful. Coincidentally, it was my sons birthday. Double celebration in the house.

This is my story and I give God all the glory. I pray that everyone waiting fir a miracle as mine will receive in JESUS name. AMEN!

Good morning house. Please I’d love to know if anyone knows about convera here. I sent money to someone (black market rate) in the Uk to help pay my tuition deposit to university of Sussex. The person paid via convera since 9th January and convera says they sent the money to Sussex since 10th January but till today Sussex says the money hasn’t entered their account yet. I’m really bothered as I paid via black market because I do not want any part of this journey to stress me at all. It’s for September intake. Now I’m left hanging as I don’t know what’s going on and it’s been over a month. Thanks everyone as I expect replies please.

Please I need clarity in this matter, my wife msc program is one year and seven months and during her application we paid ihs fees of 940 and visa fee of 490. I want to start my two sons application and mine now, is it going to be the same ihs fee with my wife who is the main applicant?
Secondly, for those who just applied for their dependents after the main applicant; is there any need to upload the main applicant bank statement during uploading knowing fully well we are using a separate bank account for the visa application. Hope they won’t ask for main applicant bank statement at the point of entering? First time poster!!!! Thanks
