You need the second work of grace called Sanctification. It's instant work of grace like salvation (justification by faith). Jesus prayed for every believer to receive it in John 17:17 and secondly it's the will of God and the scriptures said, if we pray according to His will, He hears us and answers the prayers.

If you are so concerned with worldly politics you will hate your fellow believers and the spirit to pray earnestly from the earth will be hindered.

Hmmmm, a couple of things trouble me, like anxiety, like trial of waiting on God, like pressure to meet up with life demands. It gets at me, and nairaland often forms avenue to distract my mind or cope with such pressures.
God ease me of my life pressures. I know God is with me, I can't trade him, I literally feels his fire and presence around me. How I wish I wouldn't miss my prayer time for anything. That my heart and time be textured for him always...... Sometimes I just wish to just remain in the church and just live in there....... feels like it's the environment where my anxiety dissipates where I can comfortably obey my prayer time. God help my weakness

In my case, I'm a spirit filled firebrand born again and I'm always happy for his salvation.

I endeavour to keep my consecration because I don't want that heart wrenching guilt and grief for losing holy spirit touch when I pray.

But I notice it's really hard for me to keep up with praying everyday without missing my watch. I really love to because God has increased my capacity in the spirit, and has entrusted a lot into my hands, including instructions and revelation, but keeping my daily watch is hard.

I can pray for hours, I fast regularly, but I realised that my fasting period is usually the most intense moments that I pray. ... Once I stop fasting my prayers is no longer consistent. Yet I don't engage in any common hidden sin by God's grace.

Infact it seems I hardly pray quick prayers, I'm used to long prayers and it almost always take a lot of preparation and move of the spirit to ready my mind. So 5 , 10, mins doesn't usually happen to me because once I kick start prayer I can hardly stop until 1 to 2 hours or 3.....so if I'm not fasting it almost makes it feels like a labour.

So what's my problem, why can't I do this everyday. Sometimes I get that auction, is it laziness?

I also notice that when I do long fast, I get broken all those period and it sort of makes it easy to transition into prayers, but once I stop the fast, consistency is a problem except when I just spontaneously moved to pray. What do I do
