BascoVanVeli: You that claim to defend home based players but does not believe in Ezenwa's abilities. From your logic you either hate or dislike the player. 6 Likes |

Truidstar: But don't be disappointed if Ezenwa emerges first choice. Personal goalkeeper training is not enough. Game experience is key o. 1 Like |

jihday: The poor position issue is often over magnified by many here. Some even said he has not made any saves. Who saved all the Libyan shorts that were on target in that game? There is no goalkeeper that is perfect when dealing with aerial battles. What do we have goal keeper trainers in the team for? |
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Petrobros: 11:02am On Jan 21, 2018 |
DrKlever: So it is Uzoho that is proven right? My friend in the absence of Enyeama, Ezenwa is a safer choice than Uzoho. Talking about clean sheets. At the end of a tournament, rating of the goalkeepers are done from those that finished in top 4 and number of clean sheets kept is a major factor. |

Kog45: That is how you view it. Perfectly stated, devoid of any sentiments. But do you know there are some peeps here who are waiting for Ezenwa to fail so that Rohr will drop him completely from the WC team? Which test will he receive in this CHAN that would be more than what he received against Cameroon, Zambia and Algeria. All 4 matches he only conceded two goals from penalties. He has kept several clean sheets for the Eagles despite some of his lapses. I tell you some are just waiting for that moment to nail him. They will not give him credit for keeping clean sheet but are quick to point to cases where he was out of position. Has their been any goalkeeper that is always in perfect position? Someone even said he will not give Ezenwa any credits but we shall watch and see as the team gets to the final. If you wish Ezenwa to fail it simply means you want the team to fail. Simple. This CHAN is only going to boost Ezenwa's confidence level and rating. |

tbaba1234: Misjudging crosses happens to every goalie. Today, Petre Czech took some wrong decisions in punching some balls rather than holding it. But that does not take the credit away from Ezenwa in keeping yet another clean sheet. He deserves the credit please. If it were Afelokhai or Ajiboye that hard the kind of performance Ezenwa has had thus far I know you will pay a blind eye to some of the misjudgments and claim they are better than Ezenwa. 2 Likes |

BascoVanVeli: Oga, I know you are trying hard to justify and retain that award of "pro-local league". Hahaha. Nobody will credit your account for it so just save your self the headache of trying to defend all those mediocre players you are mentioning. There is a way you will keep defending mediocrity that it will generally affect your out look in life. Just like oga icon4s said Sunday Faleye is the only positive from this team thus far. We have seen a player we can immediately integrate into our youth teams and who if he works hard may make the Super Eagles in future. |

blueto: When you are chasing a game would you prefer to change a Wing Back instead of making attacking substitutions? Don't even talk about making substitutions in that position. It is usually not necessary. If you need to seal off a game would you rather change a wing back or introduce an extra midfielder or a defender? |
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Petrobros: 4:39pm On Dec 08, 2017 |
blueto: If you think Moses will play that WB position exactly as he plays for Chelsea then you are on a long thing. In the green and white jerseys, his level of discipline drops, becomes more selfish and may not be able to recover quickly to join the defense as he does for Chelsea. I go with icon4s we need Moses in a more attacking position. Either Aina or Shehu can play as Wing Back or Full back, depending on which formation the coach adopts. |
