The NFF is under a Sports Ministry, headed by a minister, appointed by the President, so, Mickael2 is not wrong when he says that the Nigerian elections can be discussed here. You cannot divorce football from politics

Go back to that list again and technically select the 5 players to be dropped. And lets discuss.

To make that wide sweeping statement you really have to know the players in question personally or have spoken to them one on one directly. Have you done any of those things ❓

Ighalo has not done himself any favour to remain Eagles No. 1 Striker. But I remember when Martins was suggested for a Recall by Forgiveness, the Dude was almost murdered and eaten raw on this Thread.

We keep reading "Success is back - he's a Beast" yet he has not broken to the first IX of Watford Team. Do we have a potent Striker who can replace Ighalo in the Team presently?! Can we really trust Iheanacho as the Team's lone Striker?

See me o. What is the essence of having a striker that cannot score goals?

3 competitive goals out of which 2 are from penalty spot. And some see nothing wrong in this?

In all my years of followership of the national team we have never had it this bad in the striking position. Thank God for players like Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses who are not even natural strikers.

Even Iheanacho too has been disappointing.

I don't even want to go way back as the 80s and 90s. Let me mention a generation that almost everyone here can identify with: in the 2000s there was a time we had strikers like: Yakubu, Martins, Ike Uche, Osaze, Utaka, and Nsofor all in one squad. We were so rich in that department that we played Utaka, Nsofor and Osaze mostly from the Wings while Yakubu, Martins and Uche justle for the CF position.

Emmanuel Emenike was our last striker. Since after he dipped in his own form we have never had a number 9 again. Keshi brought in Gbolahan Salami and Aaron Samuel, 2 power strikers but where those ones day today?

Oliseh brought in Ighalo and brought back Ideye. Na just hold up play them say dem just wan do. Dem no dey fit test keeper.

It is better we just be playing with false 9s until a natural number 9 emerges.

I only condem nwakali because I think ebere eze is better,and ebere eze is another division 2 player so don't get me wrong okay

Jamilu and semi ajayi I said nothing about them apart from nwakali who has done nothing in football or done nothing to be invited

The National team is full of corruption, Nepotism, tribalism etc.
