Jobs/VacanciesRe: Public Service: FCDA Recruitment Is The Best! by pewekac: 3:39pm On May 07, 2010
wish we had more people like you skilful. very very poor way of being cunny by immigrations, such a shame.

I was in the South West for a weekend with my family, some university graduates in my church that had known that I was based in Abuja begged to be helped with the submission of their downloaded application forms and their credentials. I happily received the parcels (because someone did exactly the same for me).
that's me as well. it's what we should strive to be, especially when we've made it cos it then wouldn't take so much effort

funmi_owo you're even more stupid for not knowing that there are no public GMAt classes. it's easy enough to grasp, basically a read by your self text. but if you're that dumb/daft you can get a private tutor.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by pewekac: 9:30pm On Apr 16, 2008
@gbemierosi: seems your source is not so reliable afterall

@Ijaybaby: never knew they sent emails. thought it was an sms and call thing. I'm a Jos hopeful like you, i guess your parents want you to continue teaching considering the long run (time constraint, marriage etc) and the fact that you're a female, but only you know what you really want and so you alone can make that decision. myself I've got a moderately paying job at the moment, but it's not challenging, the prospects are low and it's just not my thing. once IBPLC calls I'm heeding right away.

@yosla: congrats my man, all the best.

@richydammy: that' the spirit (sharing) we need here man, nice one.

so let's say about 40 people have been called in all out of the 71 that were interviewed in Jos region. well from that and other permutations i strongly believe I'll be in either of the next 2 batches to be called. so we're looking at Lagos, Enugu or Port Harcourt. Ibadan, Jos and Bauchi are distant possibilities. God dey.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by pewekac: 9:18pm On Apr 15, 2008
IBPLC called today, training school to start April 21st in Abuja at their Garki 2 branch. you can call this the 4th batch if you want. the two people i know that were called were from Abuja and Jos region, so it seems the Abuja training school is national after all. i guess our turn will still come, hang in there guys.

hey just wanted to ask what's up with the second IBPLC training school at Apapa, does it still exist? and is there another at ikeja? when will they call the next batch? pardon me if I'm mixing things up, i don't stay in lagos.

UAC apapa started march 10th
bode thomas surulere started march 31st
kano to start april 7th (tomorrow!)
Abuja to be called in a week or two
Enugu rumoured to call soon

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by pewekac: 12:20am On Mar 21, 2008
while all this is going on, behind (or infront of grin) the scenes ex-corps members who served with them are being instructed to ship themselves to Lagos for onward shipping to Ofada for training.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by pewekac: 10:22pm On Mar 19, 2008
congrats guys especially asaaju omo wey be no wan make we hear word before. I'm really happy for you guys. for the rest of us i believe our time will come soon in either Enugu or Kano (there's even possibility of ofada, Abuja and yet another Lagos ). here's some other useful stuff posted in another thread

kj_hova:
New batch for the intercontinental bank ET training has been called. they are resuming on MARCH 31 at the Surulere training center in Lagos.
The next batch will start the programme on or before April 21. the next batch will resume in kano center. This batch will not include any of the Lagos hopefuls. But do not worry as there will be a 4th batch that will be trained in Enugu. this will involve Lagos hopefulls. At any rate, the bank intends to train and employ every one on there waiting list. Like i said sometime ago, the list includes 500 names at the least. GOD BLESS You ALL.
The training at Apapa has been fun, one is begining to really believe that he has finnally join the league of Nigerians who will do things in this planet before we leave.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by pewekac: 9:22pm On Mar 18, 2008

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by pewekac: 10:04pm On Mar 14, 2008
you know the center in Apapa where the current batch are presently being trained is not even owned by IBPLC, it's owned by UAC! heard renovation work is going on in "a couple" of their own training schools, plus the rumour that new training centres are awaiting approval means there could be a rash of call ups in some weeks to come.
