bruce you're the man. i hail oh! we're too small to advice you, you know what you want, GO for it! but do you by any chance know the criteria used to select those that are to start training on Monday? anyway guys you've heard what he said. it's now over to us to use our time wisely. heard another training school batch will start on the 17th in ofada (ogun state abi?). let's stay prepared and keep our fingaz crossed. |
@berni: nice to see another Jos hopeful, we're not many in here. *** |
I'll advice you to write that of GTB. wrote Nigerian breweries last year and the organization was super f*cked. all candidates from across the federation writing in one venue. it'll become first come first serve and the timing will not be followed. study really hard for the gtb and be composed. the job there is far better than being an over worked bus driver (sales agent) with Nigerian breweries. |

seems IBPLC are on some end of the year financial statement ish. so the earliest they might have time for us is second week of march. patience brethren. |
that was really deep. it's all good, do your thing. peace! |
no long thing, tell the what they wanna hear (just like you do when you're trying to "plait" a girl's hair) and they'll hire you . |
you're all over nairaland, good thing. but i see that you're American, why then do you love Nigeria and nairaland so much? what other websites are you so engrossed in apart from nairaland? thanks. |
yes i do ![]() |
are you big, large or fat? do you reside in Abuja? have you got a minimum qualification of an SSCE certificate? are you willing to work in the hospitality industry? if you meet all the above requirements then send your CV/resume to pewekac {at} gmail.com on or before the 4th of march 2008. |
yes oh, I'm a bored Abuja Big Boy (City People style ) waiting on a call to resume/start work at a bank, but meanwhile I'm bored and Hot to death and just can't seem to focus. any Abuja based lady willing to give me directions? mail me at pewekac {at} gmail.com and we'll take it up from there |
my email add is pewekac {at} gmail.com, please send me some of your tracks |
FIXing one's MIND INto OTHER THINGS FOR THE TIME BEING definitely is the way to go, but it's easier said than done especially when you've given your life to intercontinental, e b like say i go track you down for ABJ make we dey bash that game cube together, but PS2 soccer for better sha. |
ok so lets say they take people up in batches. what criteria do you think they'd use in the screening, interview scores abi? yeah i know about the waiting thing last year, but the process has been somehow fast tracked this time around (especially as per we jos candidates) and from feelers we're getting we strongly believe in march. damn it really sucks to be planning one's life around an IBPLC call. banks and their recruitment length sef ![]() |
@pappycus: so you're ABJ representing/ cool. i guess you're also part of the ABJ regional recruitment. yeah the family thing is true amongst most banks. but we from Jos region ain't waiting no 3 weeks more, we've been good since January 18th! (when we did our interview and medicals). i strongly believe we'll be called next week. |
guy na wah to you oh, i think say na better info you wan pass. this one wey u dey calm, u sabi the date wey dem go call us so? |
. |
eya sorry oh. the rumour was really strong. told a couple of peeps about it but they declined the offer sha (guess my a-s-s is saved). |
yeah 42 people; just found the below about their training. hope dey for we jos people, but i hope its not a north-central state of origin thing sha. Nigeria: Bank Recruits 42 Northern Graduates |
@guyman2: the issue is not "starting or commenting on threads" but "starting or commenting on Intercontinental bank plc threads" as if that's all your life is centered around. by the way I'm not the enemy. |
. |
guy honestly your head dey house so? how many threads will you open or comment in just about this same issue. supposing at the end you're not called for training, you go die? abeg leave matter, i and lots of others are in the same boat too but we don't go about "defacing" nairaland. take a chill pill. |
i must admit this info is scary. to be dropped (apparently) after medicals implies, ? |
@larryoncol: yeah matured is the term, interpret it how you wish and give her a call. think of it as a job interview question. @missylizzy: yeah seek and you shall find. |
guys long thing dey oh! information made known to me points to training school call coming in in the last week of Feb or early March. we Jos peeps that have been waiting since Jan 18th will have to wait a little more. so you all had better grab a book, sit back and relax, just make yourself useful till then and stay out of trouble. cheers. |
@Delyte: i'm not shaking sha cos it seems you're the only one that has been waiting that long (although i know last year's recruitment was long. enugu center wrote test around march and went for training around sept). have you previously deffered a call to training school? the rest of us here wrote the test in November (including valacious; he was called for medicals) and we're hopeful of a late Feb/early march call. cheers. |
from my client: I'm a matured lady in need of a matured guy (28 and above) for the valentine period. you can reach me on 08080587594, 07033015332 or 08072840615. please don't bother if you don't fit the bill. thanks. https://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb89/cemeruem/Runs/5bdb.jpg |
georgee:i don't mean to be harsh or anything but for you to have written over 30 apt test and still be without a job then your head truly no dey house. job opportunities are in your hands, it's left for you to grab em. if you studied like your life depended on it there's no reason why you shouldn't pass simple GMAT. it's all about practice! again if you keep messing up after 30 interviews than there definitely is something wrong in your personality. start rereading the interview handbooks. abeg help yourself. good luck! |
you said I have been wondering what the call was all about because am expecting an invitation or call from them to resume training since I 've completed my recruitment processes last year. abeg no make man pikin fear oh. we in Jos completed our own processes about 3 weeks ago and we're hopeful of a February call. don't tell me it takes that long? by the way where did you do your test, interview and medicals? |
.
