Point one - always appear neat and smart, in general make sure your appearance is on point and minimal, good hair cut, neat wears to work and off work.


Point two - when you are having conversations with people, at every 10 -15 seconds make sure you look into their eyes, try this with five different people and with time you will get use to it.

I just created this account. I'm at my boyfriend's house and I'm bored. His family member called and he asked me to wait for him.
I promised to come and make him vegetable soup today, since morning hes been disturbing me to come because his friend is also around. I sha got there sweating because of the heat and entered kitchen immediately.
I made the vegetable soup and swallow. He said the soup is delicious, after which I served him and his frnd. It is me that took his friends food to dinning table o. I went to sitting room which is just like right from the dinning. In front of his friend he started asking why I couldn't bring them water to wash their hands and also put water inside cup for them to drink.
It's annoying to me because washand basin is right in the dinning and also a water dispenser in the dinning, glass cups are also there so why cant he do that? Knowing well I've been preparing the food. Just that one he cannot do.
After eating he said "it's nice that you can cook, but you're a woman it's your duty to put water for washing hands and to drink, what if any of my family member or my mum is around?"
There was a time he talked about visiting his mum and how I would be the one cooking, that's not a big deal to me as long as am not reduced to the maid.
This is my second visit to his house, the first time I cooked too.
Am still angry anyways. Traditional man in this modern world, he wants to enjoy wife benefit without acting like a husband.
Update; I have told him about it and he says "me that says you should serve us water dont I know the water is beside us?" I asked him why he had to even do that in front of his friend and he said "it's no big deal, I should have still come to serve it too" kept insisting on how it's my duty and him not a believer of division of labour. He then said "I wont take that from you next time"
So now he just told me he'd invite all his friends over soon and have me cook for them all
My ranting goes beyond serving water or not

I have heard people complaining about the quality of service renders by their Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) the truth is that the PFAs don't exist in isolation, they have rules, guidelines and the PRA 2004 & 2014(as amended ) guiding their modes of operations. I want to seize this opportunity to say that the guides stated above are not inhumane but the interpretations by various PFAs creates the bottle neck that makes clients (RSA holders) suffers.

The truth is that most of the guidelines are available for the public consumptions but due to our attitudes to reading things we felt would not add an immediately value to our lives, we allow it slip through our hands.

I can confidently tell you that "if your PFA knows that you know where to run to when they give bad service, they wouldn't try mess with you". I remember those days when we have some customers walk-in through our door, we quickly assign the best hand to attend to them. This is due to the fact that if we misbehave in anyway as an organisation, we would be in for a serious trouble.

I have worked in various departments of one of the biggest PFAs in the country and I am privilledged to have access to some vital informations which could be useful to RSA holders.

Please note:

1. This thread is not meant to promote/demote any PFA
2. It is not meant to market any PFA or insurance products
3. Any service/advise given on this thread is without any cost /fee

I HATE TALKING POLITICS YET I HAVE TO SAY THIS,

These people aren't reasoning as we do in this part of the world, they know nothing about the Nigerian youths, they aren't feeling the pains the way we are, you know why?
Their stomachs are filled with foods even before they go hungry, they have all that will fill their bellies before they ask for it,
Their bank accounts are always ice & cool and not hot & dry like ours,
They live in a very very decent area far from where an average Nigeria lives,
They have security men attached to them, wives and children (from the oldest of their children to the youngest),
Their children attends Private schools Home and Abroad,
Their children does not work yet they earn salary through their parents in public offices,

NOW
For a striving/average Nigerian to register his/her product with NAFDAC and SON ( you need to check the amount yourself)
No quality free education for the less privilege (just like they enjoyed during their time)
Minimum wage is as low as it is been described.
They aren't allowing the youth to take part in politics except their children and family members

So, what more do you expect from this old man who has nothing to offer Nigerians than this hardship
(Is it until Nigerians finish killing themselves before he would know the right actions to take)?
Same way he said in Germany that his wife belong to the kitchen and other room,
are we sure this man has not traded his mind for something else?

There was pandemonium after a strange coffin was reported to have refused to be buried . According to reports, drama started when the body arrived at the local New Apostolic Church for service in the morning in Chilombo area of Kaoma District in Mangango constituency, Zambia.

It was gathered that the coffin reportedly refused to enter the church building upon being removed from the canter and instead led its bearers to a house and plunged it through the window breaking glass panes and lodged inside the house.

It took police to fire tear gas canisters to control the irate mob which had gathered the witness the shocking incident.

According to Kaoma District Commissioner, Kennedy Liale Mubanga, it took the reinforcement of soldiers who were led by the Battalion Commander from the 5ZR army barracks who went to retrieve the coffin and a forced burial was ordered by the DC in the afternoon.

The deceased is named Lilian Kanunga, female aged 47, unmarried of Kalyangu village in the same area.

This is according to a press statement issued by Kaoma District Commissioner, Kennedy Liale Mubanga yesterday.
