Music/Radio / OSSICULAH - REINTRODUCTION (rap Video) by phantom(m): 5:29pm On Mar 10, 2017
Hello people.....this is introducing ossiculah, a very good friend of mine,PH-Born ikwerre dude, who is based in the UK. He's currently doing his PHD but has always had a flair for music, hip hop particularly. He is an ardent WUTANG disciple but his music is original and refined.
We all grew up listening to late 80's-early 2000s hip hop and he tries to maintain that raw undiluted hip hop flavour that we hip hop heads know and miss.
He has a youtube channel. Please subscribe and help share his videos.

Originally born and raised in Port Harcourt, he is well known for his skill behind the mic and also his ear for a good mix. He worked as producer/sound engineer for GrooveCreek before setting up his own outfit, “5th Flo”. After a hiatus of more than a few years, he is currently working on a mixtape titled #TheConsciousnessProject, and this is his first single off the project titled “Re-introduction”.

PS:Very few 9ja artistes do real hip hop. Infact most who call themselves hip hop artistes have no idea what hip hop is.
Hip Hop is a culture very very few well known 9ja artistes are actually familiar with.
Modenine and MI for now are the only ones who do rap in its pure form.Others include the defunct swat root(abuja/kaduna), Specimen A(PH) and trybesmen(lagos), Str8 butter is another group that was so good but their career never really took of,same with others like pherocious, gino and M-thrill.
We need more artistes who can practise this art form in its purest. Enjoy!

You all see why our country is in shambles.
Dumb people who produce dumb leaders.
Poverty, greed and illiteracy are dealing with us in this country. It's really sad.

It's sad how a multitude of people can be so dumb to not see through this scam.
MMM participants should note THAT THE 30% YOU GET IS THE 30% SOMEONE HAS LOST OR WILL LOSE.
this scheme is satanic! This scheme is built on a foundation of blood, tears, sorrow and death.
There is NO HELP WHATSOEVER. Money is not created from thin air.
Money is made when it is exchanged FOR A GOOD OR SERVICE.
Comparing this scheme to our banks and the stock market shows gross ignorance.
For those of you current participants, continue! We are not stopping you.

FOR THOSE CONSIDERING ENTERING, PLEASE PLEASE AND PLEASE.
RUN FOR YOUR DEAR LIFE! I AM GIVING THIS ADVICE BECAUSE I GENUINELY CARE FOR YOU. THE WISE ONES HAVE SEEN DISASTER IN FRONT AND THEY ARE SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS TO STOP YOU.

CURRENTLY PEOPLE ARE STUCK IN THE SYSTEM AND THEY WANT YOU TO COME IN AND FREE THEM WHILE TAKING THEIR PLACE AT THE SAME TIME.
THE CURRENT INBALANCE IN THE SYSTEM(GH>>>PH) CANNOT BE CORRECTED.

Gbam! Let me add dis,...

Wot nigerians need is igbo leadership! Nigeria is running around in circles because Nigerians are deliberately stiffling the igboman. Give the igboman nigeria and in 5years,nigeria will compete with singapore and malaysia,...give him like 15years like has been given 2 the yoruba nation and nigeria will compete favorably with countries like france and canada,..well den give dem like 50years dat has been given to the north and watch nigeria sit pretty with countries like usa and china!

But for the time being,..

Igwebuike cool
Yeah.....just like the way we have turned our region to Singapore and Malaysia abi?
This boastful attitude is annoying and frankly has been one of our problems.
We igbos are proud. QED
We don't need pride if we are going to be together.
We must come together and agree to follow one person.

In many fora, I had expected my "we told you so" GEJ friends to criticuse objectively what moves buhari has made instead of this silly " rice is 20k under PMB" argument.

Borrow money.....they shot it down
Sell assets ......they shot it down
Raise taxes.....they refused.

What is the solution?

I have said it many times over...we are capable of logical reasoning and I expect the argument of "rice-9k under GEJ vs rice-20k under PMB" to be left to the market women and mechanics.
the economy needs urgent cash injection. 4 options
1.sell assets 2. Borrow 3. Raise taxes 4. Go after the thieves who have stolen and make them cough out what they stole.

The economy needs 1 or a combination of all 4 for us to begin to see some relief.
If you don't subscribe to any of them, then by all means suggest the "wonderful solution" the PMB govt. is not seeing.

You think taking 8 months to appoint ministers is what caused this problem??
You think investors leaving is due to PMBs policies?
The truth is that this recession has been long coming. It has arrived, unfortunately we have absolutely NO PRODUCTIVE sectors to pull us out of this mess.
Note however that the most we can accuse the present govt of doing is not making enough moves to halt this catastrophe. But in its defence, a recession is not what you solve in a year.
Nigeria is bleeding profusely from its femoral artery and unfortunately Dr Buhari is trying to apply a bandaid when a major surgery is required.

By now, it should be clear to any and everyone that
the current FG is on track to be the worst government
Nigeria has ever had, bar none. There is still time to
turn it around, but I am not optimistic for some very
simple reasons — the intransigence of our dear leader,
Muhammadu Buhari; the gridlock that has come to
characterise Executive/Legislature relations; the ill-
advised assault on the judiciary; the tightening of
government controls over everything; and many
more.
I think that at this point, a look at where we were last
year is in order. This is the fact — in the last year of
the Jonathan government, things had clearly begun to
slow down. The avarice of the political class was
beginning to show, and looking at our growth rate,
we had plateaued, and were on a downward
trajectory.
Looking at this, people who believed that we were
ripe for a change, were right. Added to that is the
simple fact that the man in charge at the time, in
character and temperament, was the best person
positioned to be Nigeria’s first incumbent ever, to
lose an election, and bow out gracefully. That he
played according to that script, and did bow out, is
Goodluck Jonathan’s legacy, and no matter what
vitriol is thrown at him, that will never be taken
away from him.
Unfortunately, the fact that we removed a sitting
incumbent increasingly appears to be the only gain
we made from the 2015 General Elections. The
government which was elected on the platform of
improving things has not only spectacularly failed to
deliver on its promises, but has taken us back in the
process.

Failed in what way?? So in effect you didn't think a country whose treasury has been looted on a massive scale and whose economy depends on a resource that is fast loosing value would go into a recession? ??
Come on..Let's call a spade a spade.
GEJ being in power today, this country would be the same.
It is obvious that 90% of Nigerians don't know what a recession is and its PRACTICAL & REALISTIC solutions. You want this govt to clean up the rot in one year

Phones / Mtn 4g Speed!!! by phantom(m): 8:59pm On Oct 10, 2016
okay so i get to MTN office at 1st artillery this afternoon to get my hands on the 4G sim, very eager to test out the speed.
changed my regualr 3g line to a 4g and bought 2 new 4G sims....one for the samsung galaxy tab A and the other for my sprectranet 4G modem when and if i succeed in unlocking it.... wink wink

so i get them go home and begin the test. refer to my old thread HERE, where i compared the 3G speeds on my htc 816 to my samsung and spectranet.
was getting an average of 2.5Mb/s on my HTC and 1.8Mb/s on my samsung (all on 3G) so you can imagine my eagerness to test the new "4G" sim in my area which has very good MTN network.

RESULTS: my HTC didnt perform any different which was expected considering its a 3.75G enabled phone. No LTE! But i insisted on converting it to 4G to test the hypotheses by some guys here on nairaland that a 4G sim in a 3G phone will pull the maximum speed the 3G can offer. not true from my tests. no difference at all.

the samsung on the other hand really pulled some nice speeds even though i was disappointed. was expecting up to 5Mb/s which other people may get in some areas in PHC.

we are not yet there as regards internet access but we are getting there gradually. if data becomes so cheap, get ready to say bye bye to entertainment as we know it. videos will be watched on PCs or mobile......games will be played online effortlessly...indeed our productivity as a nation will increase with improvement in internet access believe it or not.
If my HTC was an LTE device,my speed with it would put my samsung to shame....now i'm eyeing the HTC M9 small small..... grin grin
below are the screenshots.....1.HTC IDM speed and speedtest 2.samsung IDM speed and speedtest 3. spectranet speedtest
