Someone is definitely funding Obi 2027, because hitherto Obi been known to be very frugal and stingy.

Obi is now in the news everyday as a good smaritian. Obi has commenced his campaign for 2027.
It remains to be seen if generosity can give him the ticket

Marriage is way overrated. As time goes on more and more men and women are going to stay away from getting married
Stop using grammar to conceal your ignorance.

Marriage is a commitment.
You (not actions of your partner) determine how long you want to stay.
For it to last BOTH partner MUST keep improving themselves in area of life including communication, respect, emotional intelligence, patience, finance and knowledge of God,

Politics / Re: Wike Orders Immediate Closure Of International Conference Centre For Renovation by pharmagba: 6:45pm On Apr 08
CapitalLens:

The Honourable Minister of the FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, on Monday, 8th of April, 2024 visited the Abuja International Conference Center where he lamented the poor state of the facilities and ordered its immediate closure for renovation to be carried out by Julius Berger, Nig. Plc.
...
The minister was accompanied by the MD of the Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL) Amb. Maureen Tamuno and other officials of the FCTA, AICL, and Julius Berger, Nigeria Plc

Wike is so proactive!
He is a minister every president should desire on his team!

It is not when Nigeria or the president wants to use the place only to find out it is dilapidated!

Atiku will be regretting why he did negotiate with him.

Politics / Re: Prime Minister Netanyahu Responds To The World Leaders Who Pressure Israel To St by pharmagba: 10:16am On Apr 08
coputa:
Prime Minister Netanyahu responds to the world leaders who pressure Israel to stop:

"To our friends in the international community I say: Is your memory so short? So quickly did you forget October 7, the most terrible massacre committed against Jews since the Holocaust?

So quickly are you ready to deny Israel the right to defend itself against the monsters of Hamas? Did you lose your moral conscience so quickly?

Instead of putting pressure on Israel, which is fighting an unjust war, against an enemy that cannot be more cruel, direct your pressure against Hamas and its patron - Iran. They are the ones who pose a danger to the region and the entire world.

We, in any case, will face all the pressures, and with God's help, we will continue to fight together until complete victory."

Splendid!
Well spoken!
The question is if it was America, or Russia that the Hamas did that to what will be the fate of Hamas?
Will it be lighter or worse for Hamas?

Hamas action on 7th October, 2023 is an act of war.
There is no justification.

Unfortunately, to eliminate Hamas, just like cancer cells, the process will involve destorying some good cells while destroying the cancerous cell

We really need to learn to be patriotic and favour our Nigerian companies and goods . If you like patronize these foreign companies for over 20.yeaes they don't respect you or see you more than just a Nigerian. They will favour and respect their own citizens more than you.

Learn to patronize and support Nigerian companies
For me apart from price it is the quality of service and a seemless trip when airborne.

Politics / Re: Oseni Rufai Post About Airpeace Not Receiving A Welcome Reception At Gatwick by pharmagba: 7:57am On Apr 06
phemmie06:
Air Peace is not representing SouthEastern part of Nigeria but Nigeria .No one will promote us if we don't promote ourselves. For those of you dragging South East people on this, it means you don't break in one Nigeria.

Air Peace has come to stay either oyinbo man like it or not.

God bless Air Peace
God bless Nigeria
I.think you are not putting the fact straight
Air Peace is Nigeria no doubt
But the narrative in the last few weeks by most igbo is to excise the success of Air peace from contributions of other Nigerians is very unfortunate. They see the yoruba as a competitor which they try to match in every works of life, this is no problem if it is an healthy competition, but the dimensions it's taking is divisive and hate.
President Tinubu should be commended for making this happen, yet none of them thought this to be important
The minister of aviation , Festus Keyamo should be commended yet they didn't do it.
These men made it happen in months of being in office what couldn't be achieved in years! But the igbo made it all praises to the CEO of Air peace alone while highlighting his ethnic background is not good for our collective growth as a nation.
Notwithstanding, I must not fail to mention that the concept of wearing Isi-Agu by air hostess is commendable just as the Nigerian meal served on board. It is not only a marketing strategy to encourage patronage from Nigerians but to promote our culture.

Now to Oseni Rufai, leave water cannon alone. Encourage Air peace to ensure top.notch services unmatched in the world, we can do it. Ensure aircraft that are seemless in the air, and not 6hrs of unplanned prayerful.journey. This is what Air Peace need most now.
The world is watching

seunmsg:
All our commercial banks will have to source for more capital including investment from foreign partners. This will bring more forex into the country and strengthen the banking system. The positive impact will flow to the capital market and other associated organizations. This is super bullish for the country.

One interesting thing that comes to mind is that the Federal government have tactical decided not to.persecute any of the bank chiefs in the fraudulent way they have benefited from the forex in the recent past, i see this as a tactical way of ensuring that the money they made is not personal but ploughed into their respective banks to recapitalize their banks if they indeed love the bank. This is the sacrifice they will all have to make.
Instead of building personal empires they will have to build corporate/ public empire

Wow, an elected politician with common sense. This man is correct anout the redundant bureaucracy. Pass the amendment in NASS then Kick it to the state assemblies to debate and ratify. The feds don't need to micromanage the process. Leave it that to state assemblies. If these policemen break the laws or violate rights go ahead and prosecute them in federal court.

PS: The executives don't get a vote on constitutional amendment. Its all about the NASS and State Assemblies.
He is correct but intellectually lazy
Submit a proposal in line with your own state and economic peculiarities ,he refused.
Who doesn't know it is a constitutional issue?

I think Tinubu will release kanu soon and at most before the 2027 election, if not the DSS wouldn't have allowed him to grant interview after the last proceeding, Tinubu will likely lose chunk of votes from NW and NE but will gain more votes fron NC and SS and he will not do badly in SE with massive votes from SW,, before you argue with me, watch out for more policies that willl dismantle the fulanis and encourage the other regions which will likely swing sympathy for him, Tinubu is smart enough to know that no matter the amount he favours the core North it will not change their minds of voting against him in 2027, he is not Jonathan that did everything for the core North but still lost woefully in region.
You got it twisted
You want to know the truth

Business / Re: CBN Insists Banks Can’t Pay Dividends From FX Revaluation Gains by pharmagba: 3:44pm On Mar 15
Validated:
Is CBN confused?

CBN should also tell us if such revaluation can be reported as profits (extraordinary gains).

Would CBN be prevailing on FIRS to exempt those profits from Companies Income Tax?

Would CBN have asked the banks to create a revaluation loss account if the reverse was the case or would they have been asked to write-off such losses?

Technically I think that what the CBN is saying.

Now the commercial banks have to make money the real way- Helping the customer grow

The greatest fear of a rich man is death... They fear it like crazy.

It's the one thing their money and power is absolutely useless against. .

Death.... The great equalizer!!!

Reminds me of pastor suleiman who believes he is protected by Gods angels but still bought a bullet proof vehicle that ultimately saved his life.... While his sheep members in his entourage were mowed down with bullets during the attack...

He he life is fun!
Such hate, shallow thinking and poverty ridden mentality
Because someone goes with bullet proof cars does not indicate the person is afraid of death.
Everybody knows death will come.
