He's our own, he's asiwaju's boy. Can't you see he avoids Obi like a plague?

He will still come back home to our party. Let's give him time
APC and Tinubu strategy is quiet ingenious.
Let the big wigs move into the party all across the nation. From Imo to Kastina and strengthen the party for the next election. It like a chess game. Even if Obi decide to return to PDP , which is likely with the non challant way is responding to issues within his Labour party he is meeting a dry ground.

Peter Obi and LP are thinking election is a popularity contest. Bombarding the social media daily causing disharmony and finding reason to critize all action of the government of the day.

Whenever I think about this banditry issue and our security actions I get dismayed to say the least.
Why?
Because from the look of this
1- the individual groups and names of the bandits are well known
2- infact their location and hideout are also well known
3- their activities are well know just as if there is a big brother video recording their interchange, exchanges and conflicts in real time.

If this information could get to Nairaland, does it mean it does not get to our security operatives!

Am I missing something here?

This is totally unacceptable
Lack of law enforcement is the reason for these airlines misbehaving

I always reiterated that all air peace need is good service and good aircraft and they will be in business forever, but all they want is to grab the lion share of international flight from Nigeria instead of contending for the market share first.

With this news it it imminent that if care is not taken they may lose altogether as charity begins at home.

That Lukman guy is just an attention-seeking fool. He's so desperate for attention but the party is totally ignoring him.
It's may not be him, the real drummer behind the masquerade could be Yahaya Bello, seeking to find relevance joining forces with power hungry politician within APC.
The real issue is slowly coming up it not because Ganduje has not managed the party well, it is simply because of unbridled ambitions, hence his past deed has suddenly been thrown up.
The man has not been convicted yet they want him out.
One thing I observed is that the EFCC has refused to try any state governor under the last administration, my thinking is it could be a deal they made with Tinubu, now because of their greed the same state governors want to jettison that deal and throw one of their own under the bus because of selfish ambitions.

The coming days will see event unfold. The battle for 2027 just commenced in earnest,, Peter Obi started it now the Northern politicians have joined unfortunately they don't care about the Nigeria and the Nigerian people they claim they love and desire to serve. If they do they could just watch till 2026 and allow Nigerians to enjoy governance

Lizzysamuel:

Clown.

When the fare were high, what did your govt do to reduce the price?

Coming of Air Peace crashed the price and you're here talking like a child.
Please let logic override your emotions.
I love Airpeace as a Nigerian but must not fail to tell them the bitter truth of what is obtainable with this international airlines
They give lots of incentives as marketing strategy and the competition is fierce even among themselves.
Airpeace should ditch the local mentality where all the local airline collaborate to fix a price and make Nigerian pay.
Here it service, covinence, price and efficiency.
Airpeace has the 6hrs advantage to United Kingdom which is only obtainable to British Airways.
They should start the marketing from there. They want to come to the market and snatch the lion share just like that and think the other will not fight, its not possible.

When the fare were high, was there any probe?

Please Airpeace should face the competition and stop.all this childish play, there are still local champions and they should know that they cannot compete with the established one over night.
Having a market share does not mean having the lion share.
Don't they know that they snatched customers from established airline in the first place?

Politics / Re: Air Peace: Patronise Local Airlines On Int’l Routes, Keyamo Tells Nigerians by pharmagba: 7:38am On Apr 12
Air Peace should not be afraid of competition, they should step up the quality of services and aircraft. They should be prepared and expect this competition.
If they need to reduce price price they should do so as well.
What if another local airline from Nigeria wants access to United Kingdom, what would they do? They would strifle the airline? Or do they think they should have monopoly from Nigeria because they are owned by Nigeran?
Common, let them do their marketing as well and if there is need for them to reduce price let them do it.

See Dangote we think when his refinery is completed, Nigeria will buy fuel reduced price, the man no send anybody, despite the fact that NIigeria virtually opened the CBN vault for him to build his refinery, he don't send anybody?

Please Airpeace face the competition and stop begging.
What have you to offer put it on the table, the earlier the better, you are taking a huge part of their market share and you want them to do nothing?

Politics / Re: Some Water Projects Done By Peter Obi As Governor Of Anambra State (Flashback) by pharmagba: 2:55am On Apr 11
Bringing up the issue of borehole constructed when Obi was governor is inconsequential to the recent debate, because at that time he was governor and he is expected to provide infrastructure and development in his state.

To the issue of recent constructed bore hole in zaria and sokoto, a lot has commented, but lets look at the issue.
Had it been Obi is a known philanthropist or Obi has been known to engaging in such activities in the past then gesture is a welcome development. But No!
We all know that Obi has been the most frugal politican in the land until recently when he has started donating money and coming up with bore hole gestures.
What changed?
It is simple! Obi has his eyes on the 2027 presidency that's why he is doing all this. Call it pouring water ahead, call is "Greek gift" ( according to Gani Fawhenmi) or stomach infrastructure. It is not that Obi is so a generous man or he loves the people so much, it is simply to endear him to the localities so that when he comes in 2027 they open their doors to him. He has started his 2027 campaign in earnest.

Since this is the case, then I join others that condemn NOT the initiative but the Quality of work. He could do a better quality bore. I don't think what I saw could last up to a year!

Politics / Re: We Regret Voting Tinubu – Northern Elders by pharmagba: 6:50am On Apr 10
iwaeda:
The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has expressed regrets that the region voted for President Bola Tinubu in 2023.

Of the three leading candidates in the 2023 presidential election, Tinubu, who ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled the highest votes from the region.

In an interview with Guardian on Tuesday, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, spokesman of the forum, said going forward, the region will prioritize unity and consensus in selecting a candidate for the highest office in the land.

Quizzed on the recent visit and donations by Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, to communities in northern states, Suleiman said the region would prioritize someone who is seen as more inclusive, less controversial, and more aligned with the interests of all regions of the country.

“The North made a mistake in voting Bola Tinubu to the presidency in 2023, and it is unlikely that they will repeat the same error in the future.”

“They have learned from their past misstep and will strive to select a candidate who can unite the country and govern in the best interests of all Nigerians.

“Moving forward, the North will be more cautious in selecting a candidate for the presidency. They will prioritize someone who is seen as more inclusive, less controversial, and more aligned with the interests of all regions of the country.

“The mistake of supporting Tinubu in 2023 has taught them the importance of unity and consensus in selecting a candidate for the highest office in the land,” he was quoted as saying.

Tinubu has been widely criticised over some policies of his administration, which have been tagged as anti-masses.

Earlier in the week, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Tinubu’s main challenger in last year’s election, said the president’s policies lack human face.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate said this in reaction to the hike in electricity tarriff.

However, the president has consistently assured Nigerians that the worse days are over, saying his government has things under control.

After signing the Student Loan bill into law last week, Tinubu said the future of Nigerian children will be brighter as the path to take them out of poverty has been cleared.

He also said the economy was taking shape and step were being taken to tackle inflation.

“The only thing that can fight poverty is education. Today, I signed the bill for the Student Loan Scheme. Imagine the children of the poor; what about people going through the mud fishing in the ponds? How do you tell their children that their future will be brighter? It is only through education that we can fight poverty. A promising future awaits our children,” the president said at an Aso Rock dinner.

“The economy is looking much better. Yes, we have inflation challenges, but we will bring them down. When the exchange rate was going haywire, it looked like we were asleep, but we worked on it diligently, and it is going down; it is getting better. Borrowing was higher a year ago, but today, we are reengineering the financial landscape, and our revenue is expanding. And we are taking up our sovereignty and earning our respect back in the comity of nations.”

Tinubu is the best thing to happen to Nigeria.
We have a leader who is service oriented, interested in growth and development of Nigeria. That what I voted for and that's what I'm getting.

Now to the ops your issue is with the state Governor and local government chairman. See what you can benefit from them. They are closer to you. Tell them to provide land fir you to farm.

agabusta:
It's good we have Airpeace competing with the foreign airlines.

But Airpeace should man up and stop all this victimhood.

Spot on!
Air peace should brace up instead of this threat they are giving Nigerians.
If you allow this you pay 20times over!
Ethiopia is at war! Don't stay for 16hours!

If Air peace want to hear the truth they should brace of for real competition. From price to quality of services!
Don't be surprised if the other airlines start serving Nigerian food on board! Anything to entice and woo customer ( Nigerians) is allowed and the competition will only get stiffer.
Air peace has the advantage of 6hrs, they should build on this with the quality of service and quality of aircraft.
Also I feel if they don't want to reduce price they should bring about some promotions that encourages frequent flyers some discount.
This is marketing! And marketing is war! No dulling

Someone is definitely funding Obi 2027, because hitherto Obi been known to be very frugal and stingy.

Obi is now in the news everyday as a good smaritian. Obi has earnstly commenced his campaign for 2027.
It remains to be seen if generosity can give him the ticket
Secondly is Obi going to be the President or will he be relegated to the Vice president
