It is just obvious. These are politically motivated
Not only that there are lots of insiders involved in this kidnappings.
Politically I sense that, who ever they are have fought Tinubu with everything from day 1. From his credentials to his policy. He had always won because he has Nigeria at heart.
He will win this way against insecurity as well.
Majority of the enemies of Nigeria are Nigerians working within the system to destroy it collaboration with external agents.
I want to conclude that all this insecurity in Nigeria has to do with 2 things MONEY and RESOURCES ( oil and natural resources). The kidnappings are just diversions. Government should able to link this together

Now I can satisfactorily conclude, all these recent kidnappings are politically motivated, the north just started fighting back, exactly what they did at a shopping complex wuse 2 Abuja, when Jonathan was president just to discredit his government.
It will only get worse from here on, every Abuja residents must heed this warning and be vigilant cos they may start bombing crowded places soon when they percieve kidnapping is not yielding their desired results.
Jagaban is not a weak president like goodluck, so he will never give in, and the fight will be long and deadly, but the masses will bear the brunt of the battle. SO I REPEAT BE SAFE OUT THERE

Politics / Re: Shettima Should Handle Security, Tinubu Economy As Promised - Obi by pharmagba: 12:57am On Jan 17
iwaeda:
Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, has urged Vice President Kashim Shettima to take charge of security, while President Bola Tinubu, as an expert in economy would handle the economy as promised.

Obi made the call on Tuesday night in a post on his X handle against the backdrop of rising insecurity in the country.

According to him, as terror attacks, banditry, kidnappings and violence continue to rage through the country, it is more concerning now with the surge of violence spreading through the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

He said that the recent killings of two abducted young girls in Abuja makes it more depressing and urgent.

“It is unfortunate that President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2015, campaigned and won the elections on three items; Security, Economy and Corruption (SEC),” Obi said.

He said that after his eight years in office, the situation has worsened in all three areas and that the present administration, on assuming office, also promised to deal decisively with the same situation -Security, Economy and Corruption, but that today, however, the situation is getting even worse than ever.

“At the Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association held in Lagos in August 2022, the then Vice Presidential Candidate, Sen Kashim Shettima categorically stated that if APC is elected, he as Vice President would be in charge of security, while the President as an expert in economy would handle the economy.

“Nigerians therefore now implore them to fulfil their campaign promises. Even if they do not achieve 100% results, we want to see 100% effort,” Obi said.

The former Anambra State governor said that it is now time to stop all forms of foreign trips from people in government, until the nation deal with the ugly situation facing citizens at home.

“No foreign investor or partner will like to invest in Nigeria, with the situation we now find ourselves in. We must make sincere efforts to end the spread of violence and insecurity in our nation, in order to make any meaningful progress,” Obi said.

https://dailytrust.com/shettima-should-handle-security-tinubu-economy-as-promised-obi/

Obi is not wise at all
He sprew foolishness with reckless abadon.

What I mean is in leadership as that of the president that is similar to a family, there is the father and mother, if there is a situation both always work in unison.
For Obi to start saying this he is purely mocking the president and Nigerians in general.
This is an insensitive remark all in the name of politics

These kidnappers are working with coordinated intelligence. Because for them to kidnap high profile families in there numbers is not a case of guess work. These people are also backed by powerful men in power to have rejected almost 30 million naira, it means they are well funded and want to stay in business for a long time. Everyone must exercise caution to stay alive this period.

In as much i would have love to go deeper into discussing dangote group and all the lies told against them over the years , I will just answer the question some ignorant follow are asking why the refinery is producing diesel and aviation fuel first instead of PMS.

Most Nigeria companies move there goods with trucks and this truck are diesel powered.
Dangote group infact has the highest number of truck moving around everyday.

Diesel is more important for production than pms, most companies have diesel powered generator so it make alot of sense to produce that first.

Aviation fuel is kerosene, most homes don't use kerosene anymore but our planes need it.
The major reason why flights fee when ridiculously high was because of cost of importing aviation fuel, with it now available locally price will likely drop for local flights majorly.

I hope you ignorant fellows can understand it makes alot of sense to have diesel first so our companies can come alive and transportation fees of moving goods will reduce once diesel price go down which will automatically impact price of goods.

Do you think you're talking to ignorant illiterates?
Keep this crap to your paymaster

You guys really think governance is all about infrastructure?

No wonder Nigeria has so many abandoned or needless infrastructures that are wasting away...

Some of these men come up with some of these projects just because of the hype to their name or extremely over inflated to make outrageous profits from even if it means taking loans that the people will repay.

Some of these projects are not even what the people need at the moment, at the end huge loans will be used and then the projects cannot even repay the loans used
You just bad mouth and be critical because you don't like him or this administration, just as your paymaster Obi.

Whichever way you look at the facts of this case, it is difficult to see how the Minister can continue in his present role.

It was reported that he was invited to Aso Rock yesterday.

If that is true, and we haven't heard anything from Aso Rock about the outcome of the meeting, it may well be that they're trying to find a soft landing for him.

But it is difficult to see how any soft landing would not damage this government's reputation.

The Minister got himself into this situation unfortunately and only has himself to blame.

The President should prioritise his government's standing over saving the ass of any Minister that misbehaves, however well the Minister may have performed.

At the very least, the Minister should refund all monies collected under the contract. He should then be demoted to a junior Minister in another Ministry. Even this will still damage the government's reputation immensely, but it would be worse if the government came out with a fudge that keeps him in place as a senior Minister.
The minister has committed no crime, he should continue
No reputation is damaged.
We know people who don't like this administration or Nigeria when they talk

There are too many loopholes in this system....and all because of politics based on tribalism.

Nigeria is an experiment the whole is watching...and I think if we are to survive this, we need to cut off the expectations of world-powerful nations. We need to shock the whole world.

Tinubu himself is a product of the Nigerian mistake. A product of the Nigerian tribalism...amd corruption. Likewise Buhari...and even Peter Obi Pandora and Atiku the main thief.

Nigeria should split now. This is the joker. If we do this, some of the nations from this present Nigeria will align with the US and its allies, while one or two with BRICS. This is where we will confuse the whole world. And then, we bareNaija. We know how to roll it.

But if we keep playing their game by being together cos that's what they want, we will not make it.

If we split, we will have control over our resources better. We will demand accountability better than what we are doing now. Our greatest weakness is what we have refused to accept. We can not be US in unity. Let us accept that we are so many, and we can't work well together. Let us split..and then come back to a formal partnership.

Believe me...let's try this. Nigeria cannot work on the present path Awo, Zik, and Balewa gave us. These three guys did not consider the whole of the South-South...Niger Delta...and even Egun in Lagos. Believe me, they have no plan for North Central when they put Nigeria together. There are so many things wrong with this present Nigeria.

Accountability is what we need and cannot be achieved in Nigeria. Period!

Fault faculty brings faulty deduction.
Accountability can be achieved in Nigeria.
If Nigeria splits are there angels that will come and govern?

It's only people not living in Nigeria that wishes the Nigeria to split or burn.
