If we were being honest, we would realise that the challenges those names you mentioned faced were different from Yemi Cardoso's challenges because Tinubu floated the naira of an import-dependent economy. Before now, the CBN was defending the naira.

That move to float the naira was the most stupid thing ever done by a president, considering that Nigeria largely depends on imports to get by. There's nothing Yemi Cardoso can do to fix this economy.

The only way out is to harness our gas reserves and start selling to make a lot of USD. Unfortunately, they aren't even doing that yet. USD will hit 2k naira by next month.
It is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria in the last 20years and the best any president who truly loves Nigeria had to do!

Let me explain the simple economics to you if you are not knowledgeable, you can only defend with you have.

Politics / Re: Why Ibo Man Will Never Be President Of This Our Dear Corntree by pharmagba: 4:27pm On Feb 16
makemoneywbsite:
cry The smartest tribe in Africa. The most intelligent and the most industrious tribe in Africa and we allow them to be president? It's like having the most brilliant student of the class also come from the wealthiest home. Na only him waka come?

This is why we told you that Obi will "come a distant third" and he actually "come a distant third". Na we arrange am.

The Ibo man's intelligence and sense of justice and equity is a threat to us, all of us. Don't you know that if Ibo man like Obi becomes president, he will be more interested in making all the regions productive like the Ibos, and we will end up not depending on crude oil from one region? Are you not aware that the Ibo presidency means more possibility of Niger Delta controlling and enjoying all their oil alone? Were you not all there when an Ibo man suggested and had the South-South zone created for them? What will happen to us wen no get oil and gas. And you know Ibo too come get gas more than any other region in Africa? How God go bless only one tribe with everything and we now allow them to be president join?

Having an Ibo president would be a disaster for us because the Ibo are already too naturally gifted to be given political power. So it is better we all gang up against them to keep them down at our level of mediocrity. Are you not aware that the white people told the Ibos during the Biafran war that they'll never allow another Japan to happen in Africa? This should also be our vision: keep Ibo down with us. We must never let them lead this our beloved country. That's one of the ways to keep them down for our oyibo masters.

If an Ibo man becomes president, not only would all the regions of Nigeria become productive using Obi's template, what if he helps Ibo get their own country as they've been agitating? Disaster. It means that they'll use their skill, talents and intelligence to get ahead of all of us, leaving us behind strulling at the developing level like other African countries? They may even be dealing with us using their technology the way Israel is dealing with the Arabs and Muslims who terrorize them. So it is better that we tie them them with us in underdevelopment in the same country. Not only can we rig elections against them, we can also rig elections for them by rigging in mumu governors in their states using court and INEC.

My people, be wise. Do not let Ibo be presidents o. It's better we all remain poor and die of hunger than see development or let Igbo go. Even if them call us witches and wizards, no wahala. As long as we dey suffer wn one Nigeria, no wahala. How can we have the most intelligent, industrious and smartest tribe in Africa with us in the same country and let the form another corntree or rule us? Over our dead bodi.
Myopic and delusional in all ramifications
Have their governors which is their own extraction, turn any of their state to Japan? Their own cannot transform their local govt and state, yet believe at the centre is automatic?

Benjaminy:
Is this a surprise? Didn't we all know that nothing good can come from APC? Didn't we all know that they still fielded the most incompetent Candidates in the Election? Didn't we suffer enough in their previous 8 years?
The truth is: Nigeria is too divided a nation, to stand.

In an election where we had an opportunity to try something new, some Nigerians thought it sane to vote for incompetence because of tribalism, and even now, they still eat once a day and come online to defend their idi0cy. Are these people sane?

If you're praying for things to turn around suddenly, rest your case. It'll only get worse. If e didn't dey, e didn't dey. You're still seeing the best that this Government can offer. The worst is coming. If care is not taken, the bodies of people would start being picked on the way, people who have died of starvation, and those who survive that, would have Terrorists and Kidnappers waiting for them, because the harder the economy gets, the more the insecurity worsens.

Ya'll were joining the bandwagon and jumping around tribalistic celebrities. Is the hunger affecting them now? NO. One of them is even a beneficiary of you coming online here. He and his fellow tribalistic ignoramuses were all mouth during the election, spitting out ignorance, bitterness, all because of tribalism, and they're now silent.

You didn't know that insecurity knows no tribe, that hunger knows no tribe?
This is the beginning of the ending for Nigeria. It's doom.

If you in anyway supported this Government in the elections, you have blood on your hands, for every soul that perishes in this Government, for every child shedding tears because of hunger, for every young woman r@ped by terrorists and you really don't deserve peace.
If you have any economic education, and have been following events you will realise this is the best we had since 1999.
I will vote Tinubu again.

Politics / Re: There Is Deliberate Attack On The Naira ???? by pharmagba: 3:49pm On Feb 15
mrvitalis:

Let me educate you hopefully APC guys can learn

Like Peter obi always say... Exchange rate is not an issue stability of an exchange is the issue...

What do I mean.... If naira exchange for 2500 to a dollar and just moves between 2495 and 25005 for 5 years... It's better for the economy than naira exchanging 150 to a dollar today, 170 tomorrow, 130 next tomorrow 200 next week

When a currency is unstable, people would look for the next stable Fiat which is dollar which would cause dollar to increase in value which would cause more Unstableness of the local currency

The truth is 60% of dollars demand now is for savings people just want to save their money in dollar because naira is unstable

APC caused this by floating an unstable currency causing panic and didn't have the reserve to balance out the panic which made the naira more unstable and the circle continues
Truth be told
Obi himself knows he doesn't have any answer to Nigeria economic dilemma.
He has simple turned to catching cruise with all issue that will give the undiscerning an impression that he is relevant.
Tinubu policies has sent him to coma economically.

Now the issue and solution
1- The EFCC must come harder on the banks. They need to work like forensic investigators. Each of the banks should provide the top 150 customers that they they sell the foreign currency to. EFCC should profile this individual or organisation and from there draw inference. If the top are individual EFCC should dig deeper to know their source of money

He wasn't qualified to do it. A thief with a reputation for monumental corruption. Sitting on a stolen, albeit shaky mandate of 8m votes as against 6.8m, 6.1m and 1.2m votes allocated to his three main opponents - deeply divided along ethnic and religious lines.

Such a hated, shady, dubious character who the majority of voters did not vote for (14m people voted against him) lacks the legitimacy, perceived integrity, popular appeal and general acceptance/trust and broad base to implement such far reaching reforms in a country like Nigeria. It is not his job to do that.

Obasanjo or even Buhari could have pulled it off. It has to be a president with some reputation of integrity and with a broad mandate. Not this malodorous vermin who definitely did not snatch and grab power in the interest of the country or of the ordinary people.

Business / Re: What exactly Is The Benefit Of Floating The Naira? by pharmagba: 9:25am On Feb 14
Jessyjeff:
Please, just say APC mismanaged the Naira by over borrowing and floating of the currency.

When Obasanjo took over in 1999, Nigeria had around 3 billion dollars in foreign reserve. Nigeria was still then heavily dependent on importation; he didn't float Naira, and he didn't stop subsidy on petrol, diesel and Kerosene.

Yet, Nigeria's inflation rate was under 15% and food was affordable too. He assembled able hands who were able to grow the economy and pay Nigeria's debts or negotiate some debt forgiveness.

Why did everything about Nigeria's economy start deteriorating rapidly immediately APC took over government in 2015? APC has no clue about economic management, especially on federal level.

All interstate road both left side and right side should be made into plantations of rice, wheat ,rubber, cocoa ,cotton , palm fruit , maize etc
This will do two things prevent the bandit and kidnappers from using the roadside as hideout and it as act as source of easy transport to move farm product
Each interstate road should be crops that grow best in that area and of value in the international market
