overcomer90: @girlsalvage Dear I won't lie to u, u clearly have no chance of entering for MBBS with that score into a federal school but I feel u are desperate and willing to go for it so my best advice is for u to work harder for next year's jamb or u simply opt out for another course in a state uni. U can still make MBBS I know of a friend who got 178 in first jamb and later got 280+ in his third attempt and he is studying MBBS now so u can still make it. It all depends on u. Wish u the best well said and the time to start is Now |

frenzyduchess: well boy next time don't be too slow to read in between the lines to know that to have a sibling writing jamb means I have written mine along time ago, and mind you, that you have a daughter doesn't make you a man, we have seen so many adults trapped in a boy's mind , grey hair has proven this days not to be a sign of wisdom, so man-boy, have a nice day fatality |

haibe: Sorry but you guys always suggesting that others read from page 1 for every question, I think its not fair and very ridiculous. There are over 400 pages and sometimes the cost of going through 400 pages may be more than the benefit one may get. If I were you, I will rather give a brief answer or not reply at all, it's not nice to simply say read from page 1 (I know already that I can get the information on the thread if i start from the scratch), we aren't talking of 10 pages here, some people are extremely busy and may only need a brief info. In normal standard forums where pages are excessively many, the moderator will typically copy vital information to recent pages, there is a reason for this, or the forum itself have a search feature on threads. I am not suggesting this should be done, however I am saying it's not as easy as you think to read 400 pages, so spare people the "read from page 1 talk".. I didn't have to read from page 1 to understand the little I know now, I have simply just observed. It's a different thing if the information can be found in the last few pages but not when its hundreds of pages behind. from the first few hundreds of pages you are good to go, thanks |

fodukes: Bros you are right on point. As at 9:30pm yesterday my account officer, the big headed woman sent me a text saying my subscription was not successful, the treasury bill team was not able to complete my request because the portal was down, that I’m on que for today. Well I’m on my way to the bank and then go hail, I’m gonna make sure they don’t do anything for one hour. I can actually move my funds to other banks and get it done, but for this particular subscription - na Gtbak go do weda dem like am or not. just keep us updated, thanks |

TONY56: The lady who told you that your 364 days bid was unsuccessful MUST have told you nothing but the truth.
I am sure you're not alone in this because CBN offered to sell N51Billion worth of Treasury Bills while investors offered to buy N283Billion worth.
The auction was therefore about 455% over subscribed. So only banks that bided low were able to succeed and the stop rate for that tenor was more or less equal to same rate with 182day tenor.
Same is likely to happen next bidding and as I posted yesterday, I won't be surprised if the next stop rate for 182daya is higher than that of 364 days-can you imagine?
If you don't want to settle for a lower tenor next two weeks, then go for the longest tenor you can get at the secondary markets of either First Bank or Stambic that will not be less than 13.5% and it's mostly easier to get very early in the day especially on Mondays i got credited the tbil I did 91 with FBN yesterday. I want to reinvest it in the second quarter of this year, will the rates be high then in secondary market for Q2? |
