Hello everyone. Today, I am going to be talking based on my both my feedback from so many of you that I have interacted with over the last 3 years. From ladies who have just had babies and want to restore their complexions to how it was before pregnancy to young ladies and guys who have patronized so called cosmetologists and have had their bodies and psyches damaged by harsh chemicals falsely labelled as natural, disguised with fancy scents and colors. I have spoken with young men and women men who still battle with acne, scars, stretchmarks bumps and the lIke and i understand how it affects their self esteem. I know not everyone wants to bleach their skins. A lot of you just need real solutions to your skincare challenges. You want products that actually work.
And so my dear people. The only way you can stop anyone from ripping you off of your hard earned money is to ask questions. Ask for the ingredients in the products you want to buy. How is it going to help your particular skincare challenge. A competent professional should be able to answer all your questions with ease.
You should FEED your skin with quality and not junk. Only when will you get the best results.
If you have any questions please go ahead and ask. I will do my best to answer as many as I can so that everyone can benefit. You can also send me a message on whatsapp 08109951458.Stay healthy . Cheers.
Fashion / Re: Need Help For An Oily Face That Causes Pimples by PHARMTOKI(f): 10:47pm On Apr 08, 2015
Hello. Please develop a skincare plan for yourself. Clean your face with a facial cleanser. Preferably one with Salicylic acid (it should be stated on the ingredients list). Get a toner with natural extracts like witchazel (fantastic for oily skin). This will help restore your skin's natural acidity. Follow up with a light moisturizer. Oily skin still needs moisture. If you do not moisturize, your face will keep producing more sebum(oil) to make up for what the facial cleanser took off. If you just cleanse your face and miss the other steps, you might not get the best result. If you need any more advice, you can reach me via whatsapp. 08109951458. Cheers.
Fashion / Re: I Have Black Spots On My Face, Pls Help! by PHARMTOKI(f): 11:13pm On Mar 18, 2015
Hello. I hope I can put in a word or two concerning your skin issues. Whenever breakouts occur, it is very important to make sure that it is addressed early so that affected areas do not darken. I would suggest trying a simple two step approach and see if that helps. First try exfoliating using a mild scrub. This will help to remove dead skin laying on the spots and then follow that up with a natural spot fading agent such as the juice of a lemon..Last but not the least,ALWAYS wear sunscreen when using treatments for dark spots so that the newly exposed delicate skin does not become redarkened by the sun'. I hope this helps. Cheers.

Hello people. I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous holiday season. As the yuletide season is here, you will receive a lot of quick fix' claims from all manner of 'cosmetologists' and "aestheticians". As you decide which skincare products to purchase, please always consider these options before going ahead. Just as each of us are uniquely different,we all have different skin types and skin needs. It is therefore not in your best interest to purchase products based on what your family or friends recommend. Rather, you need to choose products that contain INGREDIENTS that can help your skin become and remain healthy. This brings me to my next point. INGREDIENTS! What exactly is in the products you are buying? Ms. A can buy a product and it will work for her and miss B will buy the same product and end up with an unbalanced complexion. Why? Ingredients. That's why. So rather than look out for particular products, look for particular ingredients. In the next post I will break down any product that generates the most votes to know if it will match your skin type or not.Consider it my holiday gift.

Hello swtchicgurl.I believe your brother has contacted me already and we will work out a solution to his issues. Like i told him,i will need to see a picture of the discoloration. If by any chance he is not the same person, please feel free to contact me via phone 08109951458.You can also send the pictures to my e-mail box, through bb 295b4041 or by Whatsapp to my phone number so that i can get a clearer view. Cheers.

Generally discolorations like this can be caused by a variety of reasons ranging from topical fungal infections to eczematous conditions or even as a result of chemical damage from harsh cosmetics. It could be epidermal i.e on the first layer of the the skin and this can easily be faded off by the use of abrasive topical agents like scrubs or creams. however if it is a dermal issue i.e the lower layer of the skin then a more aggressive approach like a gentle peel will be more effective here. Start simple and then work your way up.

hello sandylurv. thank you. I can see just 2 active ingredients;carrot extract and rapeseed oil which are plant derived. I haven't yet come across any tests to indicate that either can help in skin whitening so perhaps that particular ingredient is a trade secret. The other ingredients are fillers, thickeners and preservatives so on the face of it i would say no harm done. Cheers

Hello Noleen. Dry skin needs to be nourished with cream to be moisturized properly. The reason your legs are especially dry is because there are fewer oil glands on the legs than the rest of the body.contact me for products that wiLl relieve all skin dryness. 08109951458. Cheers.
@mafolayomi. Thank you for that.
@julibright. Like I mentioned earlier, creams are better suited for dry skin as they are heavier and lotions are better for oily skin since it is lighter. Nivea is a good product for general skin maintenance,so if that's what you need, then its okay. For more specific issues please give me a call.Cheers.
Fashion / Re: Give Your Skin The Treat It Deserves. by PHARMTOKI(f): 7:30pm On Sep 19, 2012
Hello Noleen. Thank you for your question. Aqua as you know is water.glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol are emulsifiers that is they help oil and water mix up.Mineral oil is a by product of petroleum quite similar to vaseline.Ascorbic acid is derived from Vitamin C. Stearic acid and carbomer are used to make the creams thick. The methyl, propylparaben and the sulphites are preservatives. Howver, the hydroxyphenol is another name for hydroquinone.it is disguised in this form because of the increasing concerns surrounding its use in cosmetics. This is also supported by the fact that the metasulphites present in the product prevent the creams from turning dark on exposure to air. This is usually a classic sign that hydroquinone is present in a product. With the level of cancers on the rise, we really need to be careful of what goes in and on our bodies. Cheers

hello kourt.Oily skin secretes more oil than regular skin. Lotions contain more water than creams and so are lighter and absorb faster than creams. However creams tend to lock in more moisture into the skin than lotions. The most important thing to understand your skin type and balance its needs with the right formulation type. Generally though oily skin should stick to lotions.

Ceej24. Sorry about that. Dark circles can be caused by a variety of conditions ranging from lack of sleep to poor diet. So I would suggest plenty of rest. Less salt intake. Also apply cold cucumber slices or potato slices over your closed eyelids to remove the dark circles. It helps. When you say tone do you mean lighten or tighten?
@mirob try and use the lemon as juice seperately from the cream so that it doesn't cause excessive drying out of the skin.
@noleen look out for the ingredient 1,4 benzenediol. If it isn't there then go ahead. What I don't understand is why you want to mix creams. Is there something specific you are hoping to achieve with this? Personally I'm not an advocate of skin lightening. ChEers.
Fashion / Re: Oils Can 'clean' Your Skin. by PHARMTOKI(f): 9:02pm On Sep 10, 2012
Toning means shrinking the pores on the skin to give the skin a smooth apperance. A lot of people mistake toning for skin lightening. That is not so. Yes the oil cleanse can tone the skin. Call me if you need any of the ingredients. 08133606510. Cheers

Health / Re: All You Need To Know About Herbs by PHARMTOKI(f): 4:37pm On Sep 07, 2012
First make sure you don't have any underlying health conditions like High Blood pressure or Blood sugar. Maintain a healthy diet. Stress can also be a contributory factor. A herb that is known to improve energy levels and consequently stamina is Siberian Ginseng. So be on the look out for that. It can be taken in tea form. Make sure to do proper health checks before you start.

@kourt. What do you mean by fake product? Which product in particular? Please let us know so that others can take note. By dirty complexion I'm assuming you mean dull. I would suggest a mild. Nature has already supplied us with so mucham you can use simple sugar and olive oil with a bit of pure honey. Its very good. Twice weekly. Also try the oil cleanse method. Post is in the health section.if you need a daily product for moisturizing let me know.

@jade. Most commercial lightening products by whatever name and whatever else is added to them are still just that. A lot of these products are not meant to be used for extended periods. So I would say stick with just shea butter products.its just fine

@teetee2. Other than altering your natural complexion for A short period I really don't see the advantages the products you have mentioned have over consistent use of simple natural products. I have sEen and heard countless cases where people enjoyed the effects at first and later go on to regret ever starting in the first place. In the end, it all comes down to individual choice. My major concern is know what you put on your skin. Always read your labels. Cheers.

@ceej24. I believe we have spoken. All the best. Cheers

Hello 4shizzle: what you described just now sounds to me like skin tags. Skin tags are usually benign meaning not cancerous. What does give me concern however is that you said it seems to be spreading. Can you please have a doctor look at it to make sure nothing else is responsible for the spread? There are several natural remedies that can help remove skin tags although they could take up to a month to cause the tag to drop off. Give me a ring and I will let you know what to do. Bb: 295B4041. Cheers

@hotcassy; do the light coloured patches itch your skin? does it come off in flakes like dandruff? is it worsened by heat or dry weather? where else on your body is it located? in general though i usually find shea butter to be very good at restoring your natural skin tone.Cocoa butter also helps. Cheers.

@YMCgyna; oily skin is prone to pimples and spots.your goal should be to make sure that all the dead skin present on your face is removed by using mild scrubs. An oil cleanse will also help(please read my post on it). once the dead skin is off your face you should notice an improvement in your complexion.be careful of all these so called lemon creams on the market make sure you read your labels for hidden ingredients that can irritate your skin.finally always moisturize after cleansing. if you need truly natural products place your orders with me. cheers

Hello zayhal. Bio oil contains the active ingredient known as purcellin. This ingredient has bEen said to do many things include removing stretchmarks, scars etc. Personally it did nothing for me. If you are looking for an exotic cleansing oil, this isn't it I'm afraid. ChEers.
Fashion / Re: Oils Can 'clean' Your Skin. by PHARMTOKI(f): 12:28pm On Aug 26, 2012
Hello. Lepasharon. The oil cleanse is meant to help release dirt and oils that may be trapped within the pores in the skin. Since Eczema is not caused by trapped dirt, it will not relieve it. The best natural remedy for eczema is to keep the skin moisturized and use a gentle exfoliant to get rid of the flaky patches of skin. Also to even out skintone in cases where hyper or hypopigmentation occur. Cheers.

Hello jubal01. A little word of advice if I may. Tramadol belongs to the class of opiate medications. Drugs of this class usually cause withdrawal symptoms if its use is stopped suddenly. Please see your doctor so that he can advice you on how to taper down your dosage. Cheers.

@youngsoye. Hello. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the yoruba word 'ifo' however I'm assuming by T.V you mean Tinea Vesicolor? Please could you clarify this in order for me to give you a more accurate response. You can also describe the look of the spots on your face. Ok? Cheers.
@curiousdude.There isn't any particular drug or herb that will make a person 'fat'. Rather most of them work by increasing the appetite which in turn may lead to weight gain. Alfalfa,Fenugreek and even Bitters are a few examples. Another important point however is to gain weight in a healthy way that is by eating nutritious and balanced meals. Cheers.

@lepasharon. Thank you. Yes indeed natural products are one of God's numerous gifts to us.
