CrimeRe: After 15 Years, Nigerian Arrested With 11g Of Cocaine Get 2 Years Jail In India by PharoahIII: 11:27am On Nov 01, 2025
Imagine being in prison with indians that smell like there's no tomorrow, the custodial sentence isn't the issue, the real issue is the smell
PoliticsRe: Who Lives Better: Income Of ₦1.5 Million In Nigeria Or $1,000 In The US? by PharoahIII:
As someone who went and then returned and then went back again, I assure you Nigeria will deal with you. You can lose all you worked for in 15 years abroad in just 2 years in Nigeria. Nigeria is a very very expensive country especially in relative terms. Eg in the UK, petrol costs say 1.50 that's 3000 naira per litre, and in Nigeria just 1000 naira per litre. You might say oh petrol is 3 times as expensive in the UK as it is in Nigeria. But the min wage in the UK IS nearly 13 quid per hour that's 26000 naira, meaning your 1hr salary can buy 8 litres of fuel in the UK.
But in Nigeria monthly min wage is 75k , assuming an 8hr a day working week that's 160hours a month which translates to just under 500 naira per hour, which means ur hourly salary in Nigeria can't even buy a litre of petrol, it can't even buy a loaf of bread..
For your 1 hour salary to be able to buy 8 litres of fuel in Nigeria you will need to earn 1.3m a month which is 17 times the minimum wage.

PoliticsRe: The New Tax Law Will Change Your Relationship by PharoahIII: 5:21pm On Sep 19, 2025
So what if u're abroad and send money into ur bank in Nigeria will u still pay tax, after being taxed abroad already?
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by PharoahIII: 4:10am On Jul 31, 2025
Wht is only payable on TBills if you're a company. Not for individuals. It is simply misleading to collect wht on TBills for individuals. I stand to be corrected. Ask your account officers.

Thanks to every one who replied , I've found the answer so thought I'd share it here. TB is not subject to WHT of 10 PerCent , in fact it is exempt from tax for individuals. only a custodial fee is charged at least with GTB and that's 0.05pc. Only companies are required to pay WHT on Treasury Bills interests which is deducted at source and is payable to FIRS.
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by PharoahIII: 4:54pm On Jul 03, 2025

To invest in TB through any bank you will have to have an account with them. If one isn't in the country, you can mail your account officer and copy the mail Customer Service address of your bank. From there you directed on how to go.
Does it have to be a regular account or can you do it through stanbic BlueNest

It's sad I didn't see this, I would have advised you to sell it at a loss and move on. You don't know what is beneath that building, foundation wise. All those testing they are doing is nonsense, they are checking superstructure but the issue here is foundation and soil. Even if you escape all the permit wahala and so on, what if the building starts having problems tomorrowhuh?

PoliticsRe: Why Did Ojukwu Prefer Madiebo To Njoku? by PharoahIII: 8:59pm On Jun 11, 2025
How could madiebo have been ojukwus ADC. Madiebo joined the Army even before Ojukwu and I believe possibly received his commission even before Ojukwu. Sometimes it's about personalities and not military brilliance. When you get past a certain rank in the Army it's just about politics and loyalties. Njoku was the kind of guy who would say his mind at all times and doesn't care whose ox is gored
