Whenever the urge to watch porn comes, get up immediately and get something doing. Try out one of your hobbies. You could listen to some music. Just get engaged and if you keep trying out these exercises, you will start overcoming the temptation in no time. STEP THREE: Pray To God For Help: prayer is very important just incase you don’t know. Try to go to God in prayer and ask him for help to break free from porn addiction. God never gets tired of hearing our prayer and He is always ready to answer us if we repent genuinely. Prayer is the key. Pray about it and watch how you will miraculously break freefrom porn addiction STEP FOUR: Share Your Problem With Someone: communication is a vital aspect of life. Keeping your porn addiction a secret within you won’t help you solve the issue. Tell someone about it, a close friend, your mum, your sibling, just tell someone about it. It helps because when you have opened up to someone, you will be ashamed of yourself and that shame will help you to be more determined. Moreover, with the support of others around you, you will be able to fight with more ease. STEP FIVE: Take Precautions: self-discipline plays a vital role in this race. If you have porn pictures and films in your smart phone or computer, make sure you delete them all permanently. You can also control your web browser. Set a security password on porn websites you know. Make sure it is a complicated password that you can’t memorize or remember. Write it down in a piece of paper and hide it in a place difficult to locate. STEP SIX: The twenty one day affair: studies have shown that it takes about 21 days to form a habit if you commit to performing your desired habit daily. Therefore, i invite you to try this out. Swap the addiction for a desired habit you long for. Make sure you do this every single day of the 21 days. You will be surprised at what will happen at the end. STEP SEVEN: NEVER GIVE UP! No matter how many times you fall, keep fighting, even if it seems hopeless. Never stop trying, even if you fall a thousand times. Stand up and try again and again. Be a hero.
