Honestly this is not about economy.My sis collecting more 100k per month while the other one is headmistress of one school like that.Even if is 1k once in a blue moon I will gadly appreciate.

I deleted their numbers since last 2months.

A day to remember.

My last entry was all about how there's no money to pay the tuition fee.

But guess what?
Sis(1stborn) sent 130k to my account this morning.She said I should pay 100k for tuition and I should use the remaining 30k to buy bed and other things I'll need."

I find this funny and nor funny at the same time

I wasted a whole 6years.
Instead of me to learn a skill or continue my education,I stayed with sister to assist her after she gave birth to twins.
Stayed with another of my sis during corona period to take care of her kids because of her work then.
Now am doing A'level programme and none of them never for once call me to ask of me if I don't call or flash them.Shishi i never see from them since last year October.
I told them I need 5000# to start perfume oil business,no response from them.
My story long gan.
But oomoooo....I really regret helping them.

Life is a lesson they say but don't let the regret cloud your sense of judgement or helping few other people only if you can.

The economy of the country is telling on everyone, you never can tell if they are in dire need of help themselves. Nevertheless you can keep a distance from them if that will help your healing process.

By the way, I like your diary series but ee too long and one can't comment underneath.

No loan app will borrow you 500k at once
You will start from 5k, after repayment they will increase your chances of getting an higher amount. Before you grow to getting a loan of 500k you must have maintained a steady loan taking and repayment for close to 1yr.

It took me 2yrs to hit a loan limit of 1.5million from Fairmoney. I no dey take pass my boundary as I always pay back intime. And my loan interest rate now is 8.5%. Started from 25% interest rate.

If you can't keep to its repayment, just avoid them.
You can get goan from your bank too. That's if you run a salary acct but just that the process is not straight forward.

Also you can join local cooperatives, they give best loan offer too at 1.5 to 3% interest rate but you have saved with them for 6mnths Before they loan out to you.

Plantain is scarce and expensive now depending on where you got it from.

In this season of Plantain scarcity, that actually worths the 1.5k nevertheless on well negotiation, it can still go for 1000, 1200

But on a normal season when Plantain plenty, max #600.
Accept in good faith and go to the market yourself when next you buying stuffs that doesn't have fixed price.

Lol . I remember how I worked as a teacher in 2020 after the lockdown. I'd lost my job before the lockdown.

The proprietress did the unthinkable. She left us all in shock when she arranged for a meeting with teachers at the end of the term.

At the meeting,she said she was not going to pay us for December as we go for Christmas break until we resume by middle of January. My brother,I almost ran mad.

The stupid woman was actually telling us this three days to Christmas. Some female teachers begged and cried but it fell on deaf ears.

Inside my mind the woman didn't know that behind my gentleness is some touches of craze. So,as a gentleman, I decided to approach her after the meeting and asked for at least a loan of #5,000 to at least give my woman for Christmas.

She agreed to loan me and asked me to come to school the following day. I became a bit relieved and left for home. I came to school the following day and met the school gate locked and then I called the proprietress only for her to tell me she'd travelled.

That was where I felt i'd had enough of it. I left the stupid school without notice and let them have the one month salary. As soon as the next term began,the proprietress husband who comes to the school from time to time started calling me.

To cut the story short,this man saw me on the road one day and then parked his car. He started swearing that I was the reason his school was going down. He even threatened to beat me up. Aaah! That was where my head scattered. "In my area",I responded. "You will not leave here the Same way you came",I responded.

The man quickly turned on his car and drove off. God really saved him maybe I could have done the needful and then report myself at the police station.

I always laugh each time I remember that encounter.

However there's an access back along that route. It's the NUT micro finance bank that I'm not sure of.

That address up there is a large metropolitan area, so kidnapping case or whatsoever wouldn't be possible as you will confirm the building before entry if that's your fear, on the contrary the address might be genuine because of it being a micro finance bank, na everywhere dem dey.

I will help you survey if I will be plying that today, not promising though.
